Hey everyone, just wanted to drop in and say hi! Hope you’re all having an awesome week so far... I was just sitting here thinking about some of our recent chats and felt like reaching out to the group. It’s always such a blast catching up with you all, honestly. Anyway, nothing too crazy on my end, just enjoying the vibes and looking forward to seeing what everyone else is up to... talk soon! kaže:
Man, I just heard some really heavy news... It looks like the creator behind Housewife and Plazma Biscuit has passed away. Honestly, it’s one of those moments that just hits you out of nowhere, especially when you realize how much these staples meant to everyone's childhood...

Sad it’s official—we lost a legend. Petar Tutavac, the mastermind behind those iconic Housewife cookies and one of the brains behind the classic Plazma Biscuit recipe, has passed away. He was 88 years old when he left us in Mexico... such a huge loss for anyone who grew up snacking on his creations...

It’s honestly wild to think that one single person actually whipped up two of the absolute greatest cookies ever made in the history of the country... Seriously, we owe that legend everything. Major props to them, truly... 🙂

Honestly, I don't know how you guys do it... I'm seriously impressed by your patience.
Best subtitle software? in Software ·
Yeah, for sure, they definitely exist... you just gotta hunt down some solid software for hardcoding subtitles.
My dad went through something similar about ten years ago (it all happened back in Chicago). He happened to stumble upon some doctors who were running a research study on treating Facialis with electrical stimulation. They ended up bringing him into the study—I can't remember exactly how long ago it was, but I think it lasted about a month. They hooked him up to these electrodes, and honestly, he was completely cured. There isn't even a trace left... I know me sharing this doesn't really help you solve your own situation here in the States, but I didn't tell you just for the sake of it; I wanted you to see that a full, total recovery is actually possible...
Sudden agency spree in Health ·
I’ve honestly got no clue how this might mess with women's health specifically, but if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't be sitting around wasting any more time. You really should just call 911. To someone like me who isn't a doctor, this looks pretty serious... please don't play around with this, every single minute counts right now.
Wait, a brain scan!?!? And someone’s grandma passed away with the exact same symptoms!??!!

Look, if they feel like they need to see a doctor, they should definitely go, but trying to guess a diagnosis or predict how things will turn out... honestly, it just doesn't make any sense at all.
Seriously though, are people actually losing their minds? You’re really telling me they’re sending a fifteen-year-old girl in for a brain scan just because her food tastes a little salty?!!?

Look, everyone's taste buds are different, and everyone has different needs. What feels perfectly seasoned to me in my own house is always "not salty enough" whenever my friend comes over for lunch.

My dad thinks everything needs more salt, while my mom thinks everything is way too salty.

I don't live on junk food, but take pizza from a place like Pizza Hut, for example—when I eat it, I don't even notice the saltiness at first. Everything seems fine. But an hour later, I can't stop drinking water because I'm so thirsty... yeah, it's loaded with salt.
OCD: General Discussion Thread in Psychology & Therapy ·

I’ve got this thing where I have to break sentences down into chunks—say, three parts—based on syllables. The last syllable has to land perfectly at the far right edge of my mouth (if you're counting by your teeth) or right on my third finger. If it doesn't line up, I have to start over. And if I mess up and the first part lands too far left (like on my index finger), I end up having to repeat the whole damn sentence multiple times.
Here’s how I split them up: [1]I- [2]am- [3]eat-
[1]ing- [2]ice- [3]cream
[1]ice- [2]cream- [3]yum

(Finishing a sentence on time feels great. It’s the worst when a long sentence ends on "one" and I’m forced to repeat the entire thing two more times.)

I also can't stand things being off-center. I have to line up every object by size and color. If there's even a little clutter around me, I feel totally unbalanced.
I don't obsess over germs enough to wash my hands constantly, but sometimes I feel like I'll trigger a migraine if I touch my forehead. Also, I have to start any new task exactly on the hour.

That’s my deal. Honestly, I don't even know how much of this is actually UPS because I’ve never bothered seeking professional help (even though it’s driven me crazy plenty of times). I just figured this was it after reading about similar cases online.
What do you guys think?

😂😂 I was laughing so hard reading this, honestly, because I do something super similar! Except instead of syllables, I count the letters in a sentence, group them by fives, and count them out on my fingers—not that anyone can actually see me doing it, of course. When everything lines up exactly how I want it and I manage to pull it off, the sentence just feels incredibly harmonious. 😂
I actually mentioned this to my therapist the other day. She just looked at me and said, "Poor thing, you never let your brain idle for a second, do you? You never give yourself permission to just... exist without thinking about something."
And she's right. Now that I'm thinking about it, I started counting letters when I was about 17 after finishing a huge project, graduating, and moving on to the next phase of life. Once I finally went on vacation to just relax and do nothing, after a couple of days, the counting started up again...
Honestly, Ferrero is hands down my absolute favorite chocolatier on the planet, and I’m obsessed with basically everything they put out.
Those little truffles and the Lindt excellence ones with almond and orange? Man, those are easily my top picks when it comes to store-bought sweets...

Hey, does anyone know where that massive thread about anxiety went? I’ve been scrolling through like 20 pages and I can't find it anywhere...
If anyone happens to be following this, could you please drop the link for me? Then I'll go ahead and delete this post so it doesn't clutter things up. Thanks!
