Alex Harris43 said:Does anyone know where I can find some denim jeans with really wide legs—like, wide the whole way down, Marlene style—but without the high waist? It feels like everything out there is high-rise now; I was just looking at some pairs at Gap yesterday and it’s all high-waisted. I'm specifically hunting for a low-rise fit.

Check Miss Selfridge—I actually have exactly what you're describing.

So, I’m basically a size 6, but finding pants is a total nightmare. I can squeeze into size 27 jeans, but trying to get into size 8 dress slacks? Absolutely zero chance. 😢 I’ve got a J.Lo booty, and honestly, I can't find a single pair of pants in all of New York that actually fits me. 🤷 They just don't sit right. Either they gap at the waist or they're way too long... Does anyone have any good recommendations for dress pants that aren't from DP or TS?

Kevin Ortiz8 said:I mean, I actually tried to stick to that whole "buy one size smaller than what you actually wear" rule myself—until I went out and bought this pair from Diesel that I could barely even button up the first time. Honestly, I still struggle to get them closed today, and after wearing them for a bit, I end up with these massive bruises on my hips... though, I guess maybe that’s just because I’ve put on a few extra pounds lately. 😂
Anyway, my actual strategy is just to buy jeans that feel incredibly tight and borderline impossible when I'm trying them on in the store, and somehow—for reasons I can't quite explain—that always turns out to be the perfect fit once I actually start wearing them later on.

Exactly. That’s the catch with that method—you can't gain any weight after you buy them.😂

Anyway, I saw some killer jeans at Bershka yesterday for a steal.

Mark Perez2 said:Personally, I've always been terrified of buying jeans that are too small—you know, that moment when you realize you can't even get the button to close. 🤷It feels like most brands don't even stretch enough to make them feel loose again anyway.

I don't know, for me they always stretch just enough to fit perfectly, but lately....

I've figured out the exact same thing. I grab the ones that are a struggle to squeeze into, usually wearing them under long tunics or oversized tops at first. Then, over time, they stretch out and fit me like a glove. They basically mold right to my body. 😁😁

My sister actually argued with me, saying she’d rather pay more for jeans that are too small instead of letting them stretch, but she listened to me and now they look amazing on her. Everyone always asks us where we get our denim because they never lose their shape and fit our curves perfectly... even after wearing them for a few days.

fadedrider17 said:I’m curious—does anyone in the States actually know where to find some decent light, light blue denim? I’m asking because we’re living in an absolute era of soulless, mass-produced jeans, and I can't seem to track down exactly what I'm looking for. And before you suggest them—no, I don't want Diesel, and I’m definitely not interested in anything over $333 🙄

There are

For women: Tally Weijl, Zara, Orsay, Motivi, LTB, Bershka

For men: LTB, Levi's, Zara Men, Bershka, Springfield

Like I already mentioned in this thread

@ Nathan Gonzalez7 the trick is to buy jeans one size smaller than what you actually wear.

So, I’ll grab some denim in a 27/32, sometimes even a 26/32, even though my actual size is 28/32.

Half the time I can barely button them or even breathe... but before I head out, I spend a day or two—sometimes much longer—just lounging around the house in them. Sleeping, hanging out... that's how they stretch to fit your body perfectly. No more ugly bunching around the hips or legs.

A lady working at the Levi's store actually told me this when I was fed up. Every pair I used to buy would stretch out weirdly and become trash. I kept buying more because of it. Now, I just have three solid pairs for different occasions, and I've been wearing them for two years without them losing their shape.
Hey ladies,

After dealing with several frustrating issues with my new local post office since I moved, I’ve officially decided to file a lawsuit.

If any of you are still having problems with the USPS, please list your specific complaints clearly and DM them to me.

Thanks

I love Tommy Hilfiger and LTB tapered jeans, but Diesel is my absolute favorite. 😍

The only thing about Diesel is that you have to size up from your usual, and even then they're tight... their sizing is just way too small.

So, I picked up an Amex Green Card today. Honestly? Total letdown. The installment options for the consumer credit on this thing are practically non-existent. $333 🤷

Is there actually a credit card out there that offers decent installment plans even for smaller amounts?
