Man, if this forum keeps performing this well, I’m going to need a steady supply of Budweiser 🙂
I'm heading out to find some secluded spot away from all the attackers 😈

And this has absolutely nothing to do with capitalism—I’ve already laid that out in my previous post. We're talking about soft laws and the "humane" treatment of bottom-feeders: thugs, rapists, pedophiles, and the rest of that filth. In short, it's classic leftist policy.

So you're calling it leftist? Fine then, go ahead—name just one single American leftist politician
who is a rapist, and I'll happily start listing the ones from the right. 😎

Michael Sullivan3 said:Sure, but it’s not just happening here.

About ten years ago, I used to stumble home wasted, totally drunk, and honestly? Nobody was afraid of me. Not even myself.
Fast forward to this morning—I got back around 5:00 AM, and I found myself looking over my shoulder every few steps, checking to see if anyone was following me.
If this is how I feel, I can only imagine what it’s like for a woman out there alone.

Or maybe the issue is just the booze or a failing liver. 😁

wiredpilot30 said:I’d help anyone in trouble—is that really such a stupid question?

Just ask how many Americans helped, say, Mexicans
back when they were being dragged out of shelters
for executions—or better yet, look at what happened to
those who actually had the guts to speak up
against those kinds of atrocities. Levak is one of the
greatest heroes—a man who spoke out and paid for it with his life.
Is it still a "stupid question," or do I need to spell out that a Mexican who was unarmed and standing on free American territory would have been in serious trouble in this scenario?

I DON'T SPEAK AMERICAN.

I'M NOT AN AMERICAN;

I'M A MEXICAN

THE TURKS HAVE BEEN SCREWING ME OVER FOR 500 YEARS.

Is that better now?

Yeah, here we go—some idiot is going to derail every single thread.

Come on, Michael Sullivan3, stop acting up and quit grasping at
Mexican clichés! You were practically drooling over some Mexican cliché the other day!

Michael Sullivan3 said:There isn't any humanity left among those who have never seen combat—let alone among those who were fighting just a short while ago.

And now you want to play judge and jury on who's more "humane"? Between Americans and Mexicans?

Go back and read the very first post; then you'll realize how far off the mark you actually are.

Michael Sullivan3 said:Look, I’m not angry. Why on earth would I be?

It’s just that—and I’m sorry here—the question itself feels pretty stupid, maybe even idiotic.

Take Germany, for example. They deal with this massive issue where people drive right past accidents and don't just fail to help, they don't even bother calling 911 (even though everyone has a smartphone these days). You see news reports about it all the time—they'll run a sting operation where they stop the drivers who passed by (which is the vast majority!) and ask them why they didn't stop. It’s always the same old excuses: "I didn't see anything," "I was in a rush," and all that nonsense.

See, those are actual societal issues—apathy, a lack of civic courage—not some petty debate over whether you'd help an American.

You know, when you're driving through Germany, you'll hear a radio report about a crash on one side of the highway, and then five minutes later, they announce another wreck on the other side caused by people slamming on their brakes because they didn't see the first one. It's wild. There are actual lives at stake.

But hey, that’s not the point. The point is that in the North America, people still insist on playing these intellectual games about who would help whom based on whether they're helping an American. 🙄
The reality is that most people wouldn't help anyone regardless.

By using such a solid example, you're actually proving the opposite—that this is a great question because even in developed nations, people don't deign to
help those in need. So the question is actually a good way to measure
humanity between countries that were recently at war!

The case you brought up involves Germans in Germany, I assume,
so if that happened in a third country, people might actually be more compassionate.

Arthur Cooper5 said:So, I just came across this article claiming that some American drivers stepped in to help Mikulic. Honestly, it’s one of those pieces that feels like it was written just to stir the pot. It’s pretty wild how people try to spin these narratives lately—it's almost predictable at this point. You read something like this and you have to wonder what the actual motive is behind pushing such a specific angle. It’s definitely worth looking closer at where this information is actually coming from before taking it at face value.
I’d like to pose a question to everyone here—would you actually step up to help an American in need?

If I knew the guy was an American—and assuming his life wasn't actually on the line—I wouldn't lift a finger to help him. Even if his life *was* in danger, but I happened to know him personally and remembered exactly what he’d been up to during certain summers... well, I still wouldn't be helping him.

Here’s an honest one for you. 👏

You deserve help too—not necessarily because of who you are, but because of the people close to you who would actually make that help worth something.

Michael Sullivan3 said:And who exactly is out there justifying crimes? Who are these people that wouldn't step up to help someone—say, at the scene of a car wreck—just because that Mexican is involved? Who?

Look, Michael Sullivan3, I’m just asking a question here—no need to get worked up!

rapidranger79 said:That’s all been said before...😢

Personally, I would—and I will—help anyone in need, regardless of where they come from. No questions asked.

rapidranger79, I'm with you, and honestly, most people on this forum too.
I'm certain you mean it! But let's be real—there are plenty of folks around here
who try to justify the atrocities committed by those Mexican drivers—people who basically exposed themselves as being totally unwilling
to actually step up and help a Mexican when it counts!

Unfortunately—when you're dealing with Americans and Mexicans—sanity usually flies right out the window.

Honestly, I can't imagine feeling any closer to some patriotic American fanatic than I would to a decent Mexican or even a Chinese person, for all I care.

This is a perfect example of what I was trying to tie back to earlier.

George Morgan3 said:Of course he would... he’d help someone even as clueless as you.

(I'd much rather take a hit from my own kin than deal with an outsider like you🤣 )

Honestly, I'd take help from a Mexican over some fellow American like you any day—so go ahead and keep acting out.

There's an old saying for a reason: people are just people first—before we ever get to labels like white, Black, Asian, or whatever nationalist nonsense is being thrown around today.

An article claiming McCullough was assisted by Mexican drivers
I’d like to pose a question to the forum: would you step up to help a Mexican in a tight spot?

Personally, I see this as a great example of basic human solidarity—but more than that, it shows how Mexicans and Americans can actually understand and support one another when they find themselves on foreign soil.

Regarding those Mexican drivers 👍

From New York Times:

Following their meeting, four trucking companies from Mexico pooled their funds so McCullough could afford his bus fare to Istanbul, where he is scheduled to fly out today toward Chicago.
– McCullough told us he was held in a cell with about fifteen people who wouldn't stop provoking him. He claims Americans are unbelievably stupid. He described how they relentlessly interrogated him about the videos he recorded, completely ignoring his explanation that he was just filming to show his friends his route. I spoke with his mother last night; she is thanking God and inviting the four of us who helped her son to come visit. We’ll definitely make the trip when we have a moment, says Ironman.
When asked about the heartwarming fact that four Mexican drivers stepped up to help an American trucker, Ironman joked: "We've done more for diplomacy than the Secretary of State Vuk Drašković ever could."
