I want that smooth look—fondant style—but she's telling me it doesn't taste good. Now I can't tell if she's just saying that because she can't make it or if it actually tastes bad.

We still haven't picked a style, but I think we're skipping the fondant. Everyone keeps telling me it's gross and that guests just end up peeling it off...🤣 I'm not exactly a huge foodie or anything, so I don't really know... probably not much help here...😁

We already put down a deposit $0.33-but man, we are going to be drowning in cookies. We're expecting like $300...honestly, Snow is the absolute best. You seriously get free samples just for checking her out - we actually got two different rounds of treats, and she even handed us a slice of cake to try... so we ended up ordering a bunch of cookies for Christmas too, and everyone was raving about how good they were.

Shoot me a DM if you want the inside scoop... we actually grabbed a pound of samples to test them out three weeks before our big day just to be safe. Just a heads up though, they aren't some local bakery where you can just walk in and grab a dozen donuts on a whim... they strictly handle weddings and high-end events. We gave Mia a call to see if we could try some, and the lady was super sweet about it—said she’s booked solid with weddings almost every weekend but would happily set aside a pound for us... honestly, the treats were delicious, and they even offered to whip up a few specific kinds that weren't on the menu... then again, everyone's taste buds are different, right?...

We still have plenty of time, but we decided to spend this week doing a little "tasting tour" of local spots... so far, we're hitting up: Emma, Vincent, and I might try that Little Cookie House too. Plus, at the bridal expo, I chatted with this super sweet lady who just opened a new shop down by the Hudson River, and she lets you try wedding treats for free... so we'll see how that goes... We want a tiered cake too, but without those fancy stands... more like the ones you guys were describing😍
The guy over at Grandma's Sweets near Times Square told me the same thing—that those designs aren't even possible, they're just props for magazines👎
