Don't have a photo handy, but I'm running a fully transparent acrylic case right now.

16GB of space—it eats up that much--
plus it needs about 600MB of RAM just to function normally
😕 good luck with that.
even 1600MB isn't enough
you lose 600MB straight to the pagefile, then another 500MB just for a "clean" OS
with 600MB, you can barely run three decent programs on even Windows XP.
This might actually help clear up why the hate structure on this forum is such a mess.
Anyone claiming that *Awake* or *The Number of the Beast* are losses just doesn't get the genre. Period.
Another way to handle this is just install that ActiveX control, then immediately go into "manage add-ons" and kill it.

Maybe they just recognize it's coming from the same IP address or something... honestly, who knows.
It only worked for me three times max. Pretty sure there's some kind of limit, like three tries every three months.
3.8 GHz just because I felt like messing around...
All you gotta do is hunt down a RAM disk program that actually lets you scale the size however you want.
I'm running RAID 0 myself—honestly, I doubt you'd even notice a speed boost.
Some people still think you can just kill off virtual memory altogether. Nope. Can't do it. Just set it to 0—Windows will handle the math and pick a value itself.
Go ahead, set up a RAM Drive if you want, but honestly? You won't feel a damn thing. Once you've got enough RAM, your page file usage stays tiny anyway.

In the USA, man. Just part of the tour grind.

Operation : Livecrime is also legendary, though sometimes I feel like Tate doesn't sing quite the same way he did on the record—he'll pause up or seem to be "catching his breath" a bit! But man, what an album!!!!!
BMA's been stuck in my head for a week straight thanks to Livecrime.
Highly recommend listening to the whole thing with the lyrics in front of you..
My favorite track of theirs has gotta be that last one, "INTO The EYES of The Stranger"!!
caught them live recently and they played three tracks from this album. The crowd was begging for Mindcrime all night long. Even some guys in the front row were shouting "Play Mindcrime, dammit!"
In the first part, it looks like they're showing these machines that basically use human brains as a power source.
So, how the hell did they actually manage to achieve peace?
I mean, you can't have peace when the machines are literally farming people for energy.
obvious blindness here. look, i still don't want this to turn into some "black metal vs. everyone else" thing
Yeah, spot on. Kill Em All is a solid record, but let's be real—the lyrics are pretty mindless. Still, you get that perfect sweet spot where the riffs are legendary and the songwriting actually hits. That’s the holy grail right there.
Look, I know I’m not breaking new ground here—this list has probably been posted a thousand times before—but whatever. Might as well give someone a chance to hear a few albums that actually matter.
1. Pantera - Far Beyond Driven
Pure frustration and aggression poured into riffs. It hits those anti-dominance themes hard. It’s a cohesive, conceptual beast, which is why it holds up so well. Just a raw reflection of what America (and the rest of the world) really looks like.
2. Slayer - Reign in Blood
Aggression. Speed. All packed into 30 minutes. Angel of Death and Postmortem are absolute essentials if you're looking for high-speed tracks.
3. Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast
Bruce Dickinson’s vocals are legendary, especially on tracks like Hallowed Be Thy Name and 22 Acacia Avenue. The guy sounds massive on every single track. Plus, things like Run to the Hills are straight-up classics.
4. Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Another one that works because it’s conceptual... just top-tier songwriting. This was Marty Friedman's debut and easily their best work. Those solos absolutely kill. Tornado of Souls is my personal go-to.
5. Metallica - Master of Puppets
I mean, who even listens to Metallica these days? Still, this one is a cult classic. It shares some DNA with Megadeth - Rust in Peace.
A few others that still belong on this list: Kreator - Extreme Aggressions, Death - Symbolic, King Diamond - Abigail, Queensrÿche - Operation: Mindcrime, and Dream Theater - Scenes from a Memory.
Didn't the exact same thing happen last time against Canada? Playing on neutral ground is always the absolute worst.
vividwalker7, man, don't do this to me. I haven't seen anyone post the score yet—it was 9:8 for SRCG
