I picked up a copy the very moment it hit the shelves... It’s got that unmistakable, pure Pink Floyd essence we all know and love, though it features quite a few guest musicians who collaborated with him on the record...
The songwriting was actually handled by his wife...😉

Damn it... I have to admit it... I was being an idiot 😁

Let me give this guy a quick response... I was born in a major metropolitan area, but now I find myself stuck in some tiny backwater town where the only thing anyone listens to is mainstream country music. Out of a population of maybe 5,000 people, about 4,100 of them are obsessed with that garbage... leaving only about 900 of us left to actually listen to real ROCK, you absolute bottom-feeder...

That’s just my rough estimate of the average, though honestly, I think our numbers are even lower than that...

"wanderingridge"

You are incredibly dim-witted—and I mean that without intending to be insulting—but that is simply the reality of the situation. I am not a Mexican... I am an American... yet here you are, acting like some radical extremist while listening to nothing but mindless pop-country... give me a break :ubij se:

I honestly don't have the patience to wade through this entire thread just to jump in alongside everyone else who’s busy trashing folk music...

Tasteless REDNECKS
who blindly swallow whatever garbage is spoon-fed to them, much like the rest of this ignorant masses listening to those pop-country hacks...

Where on earth did the quick reply button disappear to? Dammit... well, I suppose I can just do it this way instead..

Safari... it’s always going to be my go-to. I tried switching over to Chrome a few times, but I just can't seem to get used to the workflow. To me, Safari has those perfect shortcut keys, and I absolutely love how the zoom functions. Plus, the manager is great, and the whole thing is incredibly stable—it doesn't crash on me like other browsers do. It feels significantly snappier when loading pages compared to Chrome, too. Honestly, I just have a genuine affinity for it, especially now that it's free to use.

I honestly can't follow your train of thought at all... though perhaps that's just because I haven't had enough sleep yet. Are you being entirely self-centered here, or am I misreading you? Regardless, I think I'll head back to bed for a quick nap, so why don't you take your time and try to explain yourself more clearly while I'm out...

And while you're at it, what's actually playing on the radio most often around your neck of the woods?

But let's be real about Bubba Sparxxx - mačak skakati po kanta (otherwise known as Ugly)

As far as any kind of late-night socializing with men goes, count me out... if you want to grab a beer or catch a game, I'm your guy, but nothing more than that. 😍

Look, everyone, we really need to sit down and reach an agreement on this. 😉

I find myself wondering, quite frankly, how anyone could possibly justify such behavior toward others. It strikes me as fundamentally lacking in basic decency. 😉

stressee said:You rockers really need to get a grip. You only have this much to say and enough posts to fill a library because you’re absolutely terrified of facing extinction, just like the punks did before you.

It honestly makes me chuckle when I hear people say that. Rock isn't dying; it’s just not being packaged and sold as some mass-marketed, corporate garbage like everything else these days. There are always exceptions to the rule, of course—you have those manufactured, radio-friendly bands designed specifically to line the pockets of major labels—but anyone with half a brain can see through that fluff and chooses to ignore it entirely.

Honestly, it’s nothing but a bunch of absolute morons.
Let’s be honest about this entire scene: most of these rappers are nothing more than absolute filth. It’s a complete disgrace to the art form.

I find myself in complete and total agreement with the sentiment expressed here. Look, I have absolutely nothing against people who choose to listen to this garbage—everyone is entitled to their own taste, and at the end of the day, people will listen to whatever they want. But for heaven's sake, why can't anyone just admit that mainstream commercialism has completely gutted and ruined hip-hop? It’s become a joke. You see some kid write some mindless nonsense about how the mačak skakati over the kanta, and suddenly it's a massive radio hit. It’s infuriating. And the worst part? These tracks are being churned out by someone sitting at home, clicking around on a laptop, producing entire "hits" without an ounce of soul or real artistry. It’s lazy, it's manufactured, and it's insulting to anyone who actually cares about music.

There is simply no substitute for the soulful, deep-seated resonance of R&B. It’s more than just a genre; it’s an entire emotional landscape that modern pop music fails to navigate with any degree of sincerity. I find myself constantly revisiting the classics, seeking that specific blend of rhythm and raw vocal prowess that seems to have vanished from the mainstream airwaves in recent years. While others might chase the fleeting trends of whatever synth-heavy sound is currently dominating the Billboard charts, I remain steadfast in my devotion to the groove. There is a certain weight to a well-produced R&B track—a gravity that pulls at you—that you just don't get from the processed, over-quantized tracks being pushed by major labels today. For me, it will always be R&B forever. It’s just more of the same absolute garbage, honestly. Just like everything else we have to deal with around here.

I honestly can't wrap my head around how anyone justifies this kind of behavior. It’s one thing to make a mistake, but to act with such blatant disregard for common sense? That's a whole different level of absurdity. I’ve seen plenty of people cut corners in my time—back when I was working a grueling shift at a logistics firm outside of Chicago—but there’s a line between being efficient and being completely reckless. This isn't just a lapse in judgment; it feels like a fundamental lack of accountability that seems to be spreading everywhere lately. How does anyone look themselves in the mirror after pulling something like this? It’s frankly exhausting to witness. 😉

stressee said:You rockers really need to get a grip. You only seem to have anything to say, and you flood these boards with endless threads, because you’re terrified of facing the reality that your genre is facing the same extinction crisis that hit punk rock. It’s pure desperation.

Honestly, it just makes me laugh when I hear people saying that. Rock isn't dying; it’s just not being packaged and sold as some mass-marketed piece of garbage like everything else on the radio these days. There have always been exceptions to every rule, of course. You still have those big, over-produced commercial bands that chase the charts, but let's be real—everyone sees right through that. Most people with any actual taste don't even bother listening to them.

Honestly, it’s nothing but a bunch of absolute morons.
And don't even get me started on those rappers—nothing but a bunch of filthy, low-life degenerates.

I couldn't agree more. Honestly, I have absolutely nothing against the people who listen to this stuff—everyone is entitled to their own taste, and at the end of the day, people will listen to whatever they want. But for heaven's sake, why can't anyone just admit that commercialism has completely gutted and ruined hip-hop? It’s infuriating. Now, you see every little kid scribbling out some nonsense about how mačka skakati goes into a kanta, and suddenly that garbage becomes a massive hit. It’s pathetic. And the worst part? They sit there in their bedrooms, cranking out these mindless tracks on a laptop, thinking they've actually accomplished something.

There is simply no substitute for the soul, the grit, and the pure, unadulterated emotion found in R&B. You can listen to all the polished, manufactured pop tracks they try to shove down our throats on the radio, but none of it carries that weight. It’s about the feeling in the vocal runs, the depth of the bass, and that specific kind of heartache you can only find in a classic groove. I’ve spent countless nights sitting in my living room, just letting a great record wash over me, and nothing else even comes close. R&B forever, period. Absolute garbage, just like everything else.

What I play: guitar... currently rocking a Yamaha, though I've got my sights set on a Gibson LP within the next two years once I've managed to scrape enough cash together, man.
What I play: Rock... with a little bit of metal thrown in, though I don't listen to much of that.
Favorite bands: Guns N' Roses takes the top spot, then Scorpions, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Queen... basically just all the classic Rock legends.
I try to pick up a bit of everything from their catalogs... plus a few old-school American groups.

To hell with commercial garbage... Hip Hop and all that nonsense. Honestly, people listen to Rock far more than it appears; it’s just that Rock isn't shoved down your throat by commercial interests quite like Hip Hop and that other trash you hear playing on MTV twenty-four hours a day. For God's sake, they only ever broadcast that stuff. That's why I stopped watching them, just like I stopped watching Viva. Those idiots don't know anything else; it's just 50 Cent and the rest of that junk. And when I look at today's youth, it's all fools wearing oversized pants, acting like they're 50... or worshiping Eminem... like those guys are actually something special. It's nothing but pure arrogance and nothing more.
McAfee vs. McAfee 9 in Software ·
I’ve been running McAfee version 1.5 for a while now, and honestly, I haven't run into a single issue. It’s been smooth sailing. Contrast that with my experience using Norton, which was nothing but constant, massive headaches... and don't even get me started on the updates. Back then, Norton would try to push through definition updates that were nearly 60MB, whereas McAfee kept things at a tiny 100kb. When you're stuck dealing with a sluggish 56k modem, those little differences actually matter quite a bit.

Hey, listen, I’m having absolutely no luck trying to download these books. Could you please be a soul and re-upload them? Every time I click the link, it just redirects me to a new window containing this exact same thread, but the actual book file is nowhere to be found.😠 😁 👋

The movie holds up, but honestly, it isn't because of that whole worm-hacking subplot; it’s strictly due to the tension and atmosphere they built inside the bank itself.

I find myself increasingly drawn to cinema centered around hacking culture, though I am looking for something substantial—not those sanitized, Hollywood-style thrillers designed for twelve-year-olds that treat cybersecurity like a playground game. If anyone here has encountered a film that actually captures the grit or technical complexity of the craft, or perhaps one you’ve been meaning to watch but haven't quite gotten to yet, I would be deeply grateful if you could share some titles and perhaps a brief summary of why they merit attention.
Much appreciated, and best regards to everyone,
