I my mother is in a better place now, I hope... so, I am offering some Propecia and Gatorade if anyone can use them—both are chocolate flavored, about 10 units of each—plus some Megestrol that has just been opened, though I suppose I have no real use for it myself.

Grab a test! (For anyone wondering if they're pregnant)

Thank you so much!!!!!😘
So, I actually went ahead and bought the helmet—fully intending to spend an absolutely thrilling summer riding my motorcycle—only to pivot toward focusing on the little one this fall. But, I suppose that’s just how it goes; babies really do show up right when you least expect them...🤣
Kisses to everyone😘

velvetwolf9 said:Jeremy Nelson3, first off, don't sweat it—that positive will show up eventually. Besides, has your period actually started yet? I did my first test a day or two early because I couldn't wait, and obviously, it was negative—then four days later, bingo. 😍
Anyway, what do you mean she won't do the swabs?! She really should, especially if you told her you're planning to conceive! 😠 😲
Well—I’m already four days late now—so, if my math is even remotely correct, I suppose a positive result on the test should be showing up by now. Or maybe it won't? I guess it's just one of those things where you wait and wonder, though logically, the timing seems right.
I am absolutely livid with my doctor at Mayo Clinic—just completely fuming. I had my swabs done last year and everything seemed fine, except for that strep infection I had, which I eventually cleared up. But here’s the thing—she didn't even bother to order a follow-up swab after the treatment was finished. Now, suddenly, she’s refusing to perform any more tests until my husband shows up for the appointment. It feels incredibly dismissive, I guess. Maybe there's some bureaucratic reason for it, but honestly, it just feels like an unnecessary hurdle when I'm trying to stay on top of my health.
I suppose—if I’m being honest with myself—it looks like I’ll be looking for a new gynecologist first. Maybe it's for the best, though I can't say for certain yet.😁

did you ever end up swinging by Gin's..?
Richard Wilson17😘 ..well, I actually stopped by the clinic recently, and I asked her about getting all my screenings done since I'm planning to get pregnant—but she wouldn't do them because she claims there’s just no need right now😈. I suppose I'll wait a few more days, but if I were already pregnant, I think the test would have turned positive by now; so, it's likely just a late cycle this month👎.

😘 TMZ... oh my god!!! :clapping::klap: 👋 👋 🎉 Huge congratulations on the positive news!!!
As for me—well, unfortunately, I’m staring at another negative today... 🙂
There's just nothing there—no progress, and certainly no good news to report.😕

Thanks, ladies!!!😘
Or maybe I’m just grasping at straws every single month—imagining all these random symptoms just to convince myself I’m pregnant—I might just be losing my mind🤣

Anyway, fingers crossed!
Thanks. I mean, I rarely ever deal with heartburn, but lately, it’s been constant—it feels like anything I eat just irritates things... though I don't really have any other symptoms, not even the typical PMS stuff, so I guess I doubt it's related... but if things change, I'll let you know.

Well, here I am again... just waiting for those two lines to show up... so I was wondering—before I go ahead and take another test—if anyone else has dealt with heartburn triggered by basically anything you eat (or if maybe I just have a sensitive stomach)? Also, my breasts feel swollen, though strangely enough, they aren't sore at all, which feels a bit odd to me...
Angela Wright said:I also happened to meet the most incredible person in the world during what was arguably the absolute lowest point of my life 😍, yet when everything else was going smoothly, I spent years feeling completely alone and miserable.
He is truly my guardian angel—I honestly think it’s because of him that I managed to rediscover this inner strength within myself. Love really does matter; that realization that you aren't just drifting through this alone... I suppose people who step into your life during those dark chapters and actually stick by you until the very end are the only ones who truly count.👍
👍 He is definitely the real deal for me—he’s already standing right by my side during these incredibly difficult times, whereas someone else... well, maybe they wouldn't have stayed at all...
I am genuinely glad that you have someone looking out for you and providing that kind of support and strength.😘
And I know for a fact that I would be there for him, regardless of whatever life throws our way...
Everything is going to work out fine...
Angela Wright!! Thank you so much for those beautiful words!!! I’m sitting here reading your response and my eyes are just welling up with tears.😘
I suppose I know all of this on some subconscious level, but—honestly—sometimes it’s still just so difficult. I should mention that after my father passed away, I didn't cry for five years; I didn't love, I didn't feel anything, and I certainly didn't let anyone get close to me. It wasn't until I fell in love that I finally broke down and cried, and it was almost as if I had finally come back to life. I am so grateful to my partner for being my rock and for putting up with me 😍.
I am a woman of faith, and I try to tell myself that certain things simply have to happen—that searching for a reason is mostly futile. You are right, though... strength tends to arrive exactly when you think you've run out of it, when you feel like you've reached your absolute limit, almost as if you're undergoing some sort of endurance test.
I know it is hard for you too... only those who have walked that path truly understand... and it isn't even just about the patients themselves being in pain; sometimes, watching someone you love fade away day by day—watching them struggle through agony and helplessness—is worse. And you find yourself thinking that when the end comes, it might actually be better if God just took them home to Himself, yet you feel so incredibly selfish because you simply don't want to let go...
I sincerely hope that your mother's condition improves, and that you find the strength to keep caring for her, to take whatever hits life throws at you, and to keep moving forward with your head held high...
As for me, I’m doing as much as I can, but I suspect certain feelings will follow me for the rest of my life—guilt, perhaps—wondering if I could have tried harder to show certain things...
And then there is that old, familiar fear of loss—the one that caused me to retreat into my shell because it felt safer that way—but now that the shell has opened up, the fear of losing a loved one is what holds me back...
Oh, I nearly forgot to mention that even my dog has a tumor now😢
But we just take it one day at a time... there isn't any other way to do it. We are resilient, and we will endure everything!!!😘

I think I’ve just reached my limit—honestly, after everything with both of my grandmothers and then my dad, I am completely drained. Now that my mom is fighting cancer too, I find myself without any tears left to cry, no encouraging words to offer, and frankly, I lack the will or the strength to even try... all I have left is a hug and a long, heavy silence...
It's a blessing, really, that my mother is such a fighter...

Angela Wright said:Because this is such an incredibly grueling period—not just for those battling illness, but for their family members and loved ones who get caught in the crossfire—and because there is such a glaring lack of adequate psychological support and other resources within our society, I’ve decided—having been personally swept up in this struggle myself—to start this forum. It's a space where we, who have faced (or are facing) these issues, can offer one another advice and genuine support.
Please, leave a post here. At the very least, I will always make sure to write back, offer some counsel, or simply be there for those of you who are struggling—perhaps even more intensely than the person fighting the disease directly.
Personally, I have walked through hell, and honestly, I am still walking through it... and I truly believe no one should ever have to endure this alone.
Sending big hugs to everyone.
Well, I suppose I'll join in too... if there is any way I can help out with advice, I would be more than happy to do so.👍
I’ve personally navigated these brutal illnesses several times—both of my grandmothers, and my father, who, unfortunately, lost his battle with it. Now, I am going through it all over again with my mother, and I am holding onto the hope that this time, we will win.😍 .
It isn't easy, but sometimes life just throws these unexpected, unwelcome curveballs at you...
Hang in there, everyone. Sending huge kisses!😘

Linda Hernandez15 said:Well, if you're feeling impatient about waiting for those test results to pay off, you could always just blow the cash on a candle, a glass of wine, and some massage oil—then just lie on your stomach and let your man give you a rub while you wait for the bank account to grow.👍
😬 I am already doing 😍 all of that, honey—I light the candles once he finishes cooking dinner, and I have a glass of red wine almost every night (blackberry wine... supposedly good for my iron levels 😬) and there is some massage butter lying around that I use here and there. 🤣
Though, I suppose that money could also be used to somehow motivate him to actually get back to work more often. 🤣

Linda Hernandez15 said:Can I get some advice? 😘Every single time you decide to buy a test and end up feeling overwhelmed, just take that money, put it in a little savings jar, and at the end of the day, use it to buy something special for the baby.😉
Magic—that’s actually a pretty solid idea.🙏
Well, since I've been waiting for five months now, I suppose I could have saved up quite a decent amount by this point—though, I guess, it's never too late to start.😬
Thanks, Magic.😘
And honestly, I've already been spiraling a bit—you know, those intrusive thoughts about "what if I can't have children?" and things like that.🤣
But then I try to shake off those ridiculous thoughts and just throw myself back into my work.🤣

Rachel Walker52 said:Oh my goodness, everyone, I just did something incredibly stupid... It’s like my subconscious is just constantly whispering that it’s “possible” I might be “pregnant,” so I went digging through the cabinet and found a test I bought two months ago—and yeah, I actually used it, even though it’s only been 7 days since ovulation. I was just being impatient, you know? And what do I see? A massive nothing. Just a big blank space. Now I’m sitting here trying to convince myself there’s some faint, barely visible line, but I think I’m probably just imagining things... I feel physically ill about it... Even though I know deep down it is way too early for a test, I just had to check... and now I’m just sitting here feeling sad and foolish... honestly, it's just one more reason to go absolutely ballistic tomorrow—well, it doesn't hurt today, but still—I'm just losing my mind... I should probably just buy more tests, I guess, just to have hope, but then again, I'm terrified of the disappointment... Is it too early? Please, someone, give me some comfort... I promise I won't get my hopes up again...
Hey Rachel Walker52!😘
I went through this exact same madness last month—bought about five different tests only to end up with a huge disappointment, even though I genuinely felt like conception might have actually happened, but maybe the embryo just didn't implant properly.😬
Keep your chin up.😘 The baby will come when you finally relax and stop obsessing over it. We all get impatient when we want something this badly, but everything takes time, I suppose.
I’ve decided to try not to dwell on it quite so intensely; whatever happens, happens.😍
I AM NOT BUYING ANY MORE TESTS FOR NOTHING.🤣
I'm crossing my fingers that you actually are pregnant.🙂
And hello to all the expectant moms out there; even though I'm not there yet, I read all your posts hoping to join the club soon.
Rachel Walker52, it’s going to be okay!!!!🙂

[QUOTE="Jeremy Nelson3"]You're right, snake—that’s kind of how my partner and I decided to play it; we're just going to enjoy life and not actively try for a baby, though if it happens, it happens.😍
But honestly, those people who start nagging about how much harder it gets after 30 really get under my skin.😠[/QUOTE
As for me, my period finally passed and I'm feeling... okay, I suppose. A bit of sadness hit me, but I'm slowly recovering—I mean, I'm hoping it might actually work this time, but even if it doesn't, there's still plenty of time, so don't worry too much. Please, don't listen to all that nonsense people spout; a relative of mine actually conceived at 37 after trying for four years straight. Just don't dwell on those silly assumptions—a baby will come eventually, it's just a matter of timing. Everything works itself out, you just shouldn't overthink it...
Until then, we'll just be waiting and hoping... though I know there will be a positive result one day... When? Well, just relax and stop obsessing. Honey, let's just throw ourselves back into work, and I'll do the same... kisses.
My period passed too, and I'm doing alright now—my hormones have finally settled down, so we're in pretty much the same boat.😘
My partner and I have already thrown ourselves back into our careers, so whenever it happens, it happens.🙏
I'm hoping we'll both be posting on the pregnancy forums soon.🙂
Fingers crossed for us both.🙂

Bebolin is just an added bonus in your lives—it shouldn't be your entire purpose.
Just enjoy yourselves, make plans for your own lives, maybe book a trip to Aspen or something—the little one will show up when it's meant to, I guess.🙂
You have a point there, placidgardener19. My partner and I actually had a talk about this—we decided we're going to focus on enjoying life and not obsess over planning for a baby; if it happens, it happens.😍
But, I have to admit, those articles about how much harder it gets once you hit 30... they really start getting under my skin.😠

Well, I’m back in the fray, ladies... unfortunately, my period finally showed up after a seven-day delay—it’s been an absolute nightmare, honestly. Even with the SIA, nothing seems to be working for me either... I’ve just been feeling quite miserable and low lately 😢 so, naturally, I went out shopping and blew through half my paycheck, which actually made me feel a little bit better 😉
I suppose I’ll just keep my fingers crossed that we all get to become mothers very soon 😘
