If my period was even ten days late, there would be two very specific ways this plays out.

1. I’d have already burned through eight different pregnancy tests...
2. Or I’d have already been breathing down my boyfriend's neck to figure out what's going wrong.

So listen, ladies, if you're running late, it is time to get on your man's case IMMEDIATELY!!!

And if you haven't realized that yet, I am being DEAD SERIOUS!!!

Once you've had that talk with him, go ahead and hash it out over on Reddit!!!

I'm not sure if you realized... but this is a community for pregnant women... and those trying to become pregnant... so for us, every missed period represents a glimmer of hope for a baby.
Samuel Sullivan4 said:So, my period is about 10 days late. I haven't had any of those usual warning signs, but honestly, it’s pretty normal for me not to have them either...
I had unprotected sex on day 23 of my cycle, though he didn't finish inside. My cycle usually runs about 24 to 25 days. Any advice?

There are tons of threads like this floating around... just go grab a pregnancy test and you'll have your answer immediately...👍
Oh man... just about 20 days left... we’ll see how it plays out... it's going to be an absolute tear-jerker...

I'd personally go with Clearblue...

She’s my daughter’s godmother—she stood by her at her baptism—but more importantly, she’s been my absolute best friend for over twenty years. Today, she surprised us with a gift: a stunning set of gold earrings and a matching bracelet. They are absolutely gorgeous, and the best part is they're stylish enough to wear every single day. We are both just over the moon with them! But honestly? All that jewelry doesn't even touch the real value here. It’s the way she checks in on us constantly throughout the year—asking how we’re doing, making sure the little one is settling in okay at school... you can't put a price tag on that kind of devotion. No amount of money or gold can replace a bond like ours. Having a friend like her is truly priceless.
Gregory Williams4 said:And honestly, her ultrasound machine? That thing is ancient. We're talking like, twenty years old minimum!

Wait, twenty years??? That’s practically ancient for an ultrasound machine. New, high-tech models hit the market almost every single year now...
Gregory Williams4 said:So, I took three different tests this morning and they all came back positive. Honestly? I'm freaking out. I am in such deep trouble right now because of that idiot gynecologist who totally missed this earlier

Look, at least now you have the freedom to choose from a massive pool of private specialists... though you’ll definitely want to find someone else... but seriously, congratulations! image
Gregory Williams4 said:So, my last period was on March 16th. Usually, I’m pretty regular—gets me every 27 days like clockwork. But I took a test today and it came back positive! Honestly, I didn't even believe it at first, so I rushed over to my OB-GYN. She looked everything over and told me she couldn't see anything on the ultrasound, so according to her, there's no pregnancy. She just told me to come back in two weeks. Can you believe that? Right after she finishes the exam, I head straight to CVS to grab another test, and boom—positive again. Now I'm totally lost... what do I do? Should I trust the tests or the doctor?? Help!

I'm honestly not sure what to tell you... Most people say those home tests are basically 100% accurate. Plus, if you were far enough along, a doctor should have picked up something on the ultrasound by now. If I were in your shoes, I'd go get a second opinion from a different doctor immediately. That seems like the smartest move right now. image

You’re feeling a bit poetic today, aren't you?😉

Well, congratulations! You're officially part of our club now... though, if you ask me, I think you'll fit right in perfectly.😍

It’s my fourth time.
And I’m buying a camera, a gold set, makeup, clothes, a wallet, cash...
That's just how it goes for me—it's tradition.
My brother was the best man three times and actually bought them motorcycles.

If you ask me, it’s insane.
I wouldn't go that far if it were my money, but it isn't mine—my parents are footing the bill. And they won't say a word about spending less because "tradition" demands it... apparently, if you don't drop $1,000, you're a lousy maid of honor.
Seriously, it's awful to me. My own maid of honor didn't give me nearly that much, and then the poor girl felt embarrassed because she was being perfectly reasonable...?!
It's pointless..

But I agree, you can find some beautiful necklaces or rings for a few hundred bucks.
The MP3 player idea is fine, but it doesn't feel like a proper gift from a maid of honor. Forget an MP3 player. It'll break, and then what? Buy her something she can actually keep forever. A gold coin, or something like that..

Good grief... that much money....???

Lawrence Wells said:Thanks, you really put my mind at ease. Honestly, so many people keep telling me how embarrassing it would be if I didn't buy a gold chain... but I just can't swing spending over a hundred bucks right now. It’s just not in the budget. Still, since she's my goddaughter, I felt terrible about the idea of turning it down.

Just so you know... you can find plenty of gold rings at $117...thin, delicate ones that are perfect for a girl... you can find just about anything if you've got a little bit of cash... it's all about being creative...👍

Lawrence Wells said:Alright, I need some help here—I'm totally stuck. I’ve been asked to be the godparent for a 16-year-old girl, and honestly, my brain is just blanking. I can't think of anything cool to give her... plus, there's the money issue. I want to get her something she'll actually love without breaking the bank.
Thanks in advance!🙂

My daughter is also having her confirmation in two weeks... her godmother is the same person who did her baptism. We aren't throwing a massive wedding-style bash over it; it's more about a thoughtful little gesture. Honestly, even something like a nice pair of earbuds would be great—you can find decent ones for maybe $30. High-end skincare or makeup is always a safe bet, too. Or perhaps a simple gold charm? You don't have to spend a fortune to show you care.
Hang in there, everyone... my heart just breaks for you all. I know how heavy this feels, being stuck in this kind of limbo... honestly, if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't even know where to start. All I can say is that our children are everything... they are the absolute center of our universe, no matter what.
Steven Patel5, I was just thinking about how much I wanted to pull you aside here and tell you that we’re all basically rooting for you to finally settle down and start a family...👍
Clearblue, without a doubt... I’m definitely the most seasoned pro in this group here.
Hit me up when you're ready for the test...

Just grab a test and settle the debate once and for all.
