I’m not saying you won't see anything or that you definitely will, but honestly? It’s a fifty-fifty shot at this point. Maybe you're a "T" and the timing was just off, or maybe you aren't. Who knows, right? How are you holding up? Are you finding yourself running to the bathroom a lot? And are your breasts still feeling tender?
Thanks, you've really helped clear things up for me.🤣 The symptoms seem to be staying the same as they were over the last few days, and I guess I get those sharp pains several times a day, almost like my period is about to start.
mistyharbor8 said:I picked up some Gavidet Mini. The lady at CVS told me it works best with my first morning bathroom trip, but honestly, I’m such a sleepyhead that getting up early is a struggle.
I suppose there isn't really a rule saying you have to get up at dawn; you could probably wait until noon if you wanted, though I think it matters that it's the very first urine of the day. It seems the hormone concentration is highest then, whereas if you've been sipping water all day, the concentration might be a bit too diluted.
Carol Moore27 said:Oh, awesome. Glad someone posted something so I didn't have to boot up my computer for nothing. 😂 Ryan Morris15, look at how well everything started out for you. If you don't get your period tomorrow, then it's pretty much a done deal! mistyharbor8, I honestly thought you’d be taking a test by this morning or today, since you're already four days late...
I'm feeling a little discouraged today, though. My temperature dropped to 98.1 this morning from yesterday's 98.4. It all just feels like a typical failed cycle to me because things always start dipping right before my period arrives. Plus, my breasts are sore, there's more discharge, and I've been dealing with this weird dizziness for about half an hour now. I just don't know what to think anymore...
I don't know, really; one day the reading was negative, though it probably wasn't early enough to test, seeing as I didn't do it first thing in the morning. Now I'm just waiting for my period to start.
James Cox6 said:You aren't pregnant... I already told you... You took the most sensitive test available. If that came back negative, then it's negative. That's just how it is.
Things will look up 🙂
I never actually claimed to be pregnant; I was merely responding to the question above regarding whether any changes had occurred.
Raymond Parker4 said:So, when should I probably try testing again? I took one on the day my period was actually supposed to start and it came up negative, but I’m feeling all those symptoms, you know? Now I’m about five days late... maybe it isn't pregnancy, but I just have this really strong gut feeling that it might be😉
I imagine I have a rather good idea of how you're feeling. 😁 I suppose you might be able to run it again. I wonder what kind of test you used originally—perhaps one that wasn't quite as sensitive?
It hasn't even arrived yet, but I've been waking up with stomach cramps for three days now, and yesterday I dealt with some diarrhea (if you'll excuse me)... I'm just waiting... but honestly, I have no idea what's going on. I suppose it might be best to ask my mother-in-law; she’s one of those people who, the moment she hears someone is pregnant, immediately claims, "Oh... I thought she was looking a little different lately... just a feeling..." and so on and so forth.
It isn't so much that I'm getting worked up, I suppose; I just don't particularly care for being left in limbo. As for how long this has been going on... well... The way things stand, we haven't really been trying for nearly a year, so if it happens, it happens—it’s not as though it suddenly took hold of us. We have only quite recently, over the last three months, started planning things more seriously and putting in the work😍, though we are still attempting to stay relatively relaxed about it all. That said, I find myself feeling suspicious at even the slightest irregularity in my cycle. It might be best if I step away from the forums until I actually achieve something concrete; right now, I am just scrolling through and reading about how one person had these symptoms and another had those (which is helpful, of course), but I must admit I feel completely overwhelmed.
I stopped by the pharmacy last night, and the woman behind the counter handed me one of those more sensitive tests, suggesting I didn't necessarily have to wait until morning to use it. So, I went ahead and took it right then, and it came back negative. I haven't seen my period yet, though I suppose it should arrive . I spent most of yesterday feeling a bit nauseous—nothing that actually caused vomiting—and it continued into this morning, so after seeing that negative result, I just assumed the nausea was likely just nerves 🤷
I suppose it might be a bit premature to take a test on day 31, especially since my longest cycle was only about 34 days I guess those longer cycles only seem to happen to me maybe two or three times a year
As for the period, I suppose it’s entirely possible; I actually know someone who had a completely regular cycle all the way up until she was six months pregnant, which even her doctor found hard to believe until he saw the scans himself. In the end, though, she went on to have a beautiful, healthy baby girl.
I haven't really been keeping track of my temperature lately, mostly because the timing is such a hassle; I suppose it’s difficult when you have to do it first thing in the morning, and I usually don't feel quite like myself until I've had my coffee, by which point I'm already up and moving 😁
It’s day 29 of this whole circus, and while I’m feeling some mild cramping, it isn't quite as intense as it usually is before my period actually starts. I had some light aches last night and honestly thought I’d be bleeding by morning, but nothing has happened yet; though, given how unpredictable my cycle can be, we could be looking at day 29, 30, 31, or even stretching out to day 34 before anything shifts. I’ve also noticed an unusually heavy, thick white discharge over the last couple of days.🤷

I suppose I’ll give this pillow trick a shot myself, and we shall see how it goes. If it doesn't pan out, I might just end up buying a new one, perhaps a Tempur-Pedic memory foam model. 😁
I wouldn't say I'm making any definitive claims just yet—it’s probably best not to count our chickens before they hatch, after all. I'm simply observing some shifts in the current cycle, and while the possibility remains, if things don't pan out as expected, we'll just get back to business and move on to next month 😁
I suppose I might just be getting paranoid, but lately, everything feels a bit "off" My usual pre-period symptoms involve tender breasts for about a week leading up to it, some bloating a couple of days prior, fluctuations in appetite, and lower abdominal cramping on the first day—though sometimes it starts a day early. I’m expecting my cycle in roughly a week, yet I’ve been feeling these faint, intermittent twinges and pains in my abdomen for three days now; they aren't nearly as intense as my actual period, though yesterday I even felt some slight cramping in my groin area. It’s somewhat disorienting because this isn't how it usually goes for me, and I don't think I'm imagining things, as these sensations tend to catch me completely off guard while I'm busy with work. It is still far too early to take a pregnancy test, but since I am naturally feeling quite impatient, I suppose I am bothering you all here on the forum, so please forgive me.
I suppose I have little patience for... ..."whining" over trivialities ...constant exaggeration or underplaying things ...inconsistency ...selfishness ...hypocrisy ...those who insist on playing the victim, acting as though they are perpetually innocent while everyone else is simply out to get them ...
