My period arrived 2 weeks early!!!!!! in Health ·

some women experience light bleeding during their ovulation period

It’s definitely possible it’s just ovulation. Honestly, that only happened to me once in my life. It lasted about two days and then totally cleared up. It wasn't even bright red blood, just this dull, brownish spotting, and I had some mild cramping.
Or maybe you didn't quite finish clearing everything out during your period, so your uterus is still doing its thing...
Look, if it doesn't clear up within two days, go see a gynecologist just to be safe.
You aren't pregnant👍

The General Motors car was hands down the best-looking thing on the track last season. Those colors were killer—it really popped whenever it was out there... plus, having Lewis Hamilton behind the wheel? Man, what a ride!

If one brand isn't working for you, you just try a different one instead of posting these total horror stories on forums based on someone else's bad luck.

Well, damn, horror stories or not, the truth is the truth, no matter how you spin it.

Every girl I know who takes them tells me they're great—like, their periods aren't painful anymore and their PMS isn't nearly as brutal. I've heard way more good things than bad. Even speaking from my own experience, even though I haven't been on them for very long, I haven't run into any issues at all...

Well, that's actually really nice to hear🙏 , a refreshing change of pace for once..
My sister tried them and it was a total nightmare: dizziness, nausea, headaches... and then I had this friend who was basically throwing her guts up constantly before we even figured out what was causing it. Another one dealt with terrible breakouts, and when she finally stopped taking them, it took forever for her skin to get back to normal. So yeah, I don't know. It feels like a toss-up.div>

I'm on pills—specifically Cilest—because of endometriosis. If I don't stay on them, there's a real chance it'll all come crawling back...

Look, when you have to take them, you have to. But then you see people taking them just as birth control...😕
And honestly, the ones who've been off them for a year and aren't even having sex anymore—what are they actually worried about? 😕
That’s just my take on it, mostly because nobody ever came up to me and said, "Hey, I'm on them and feel great," or "I stopped and nothing happened at all."
I can't stand side effects, and from what I've seen, these things can be pretty brutal.😲 😲

I honestly don't get why people take this stuff when it clearly does more harm than good. Is it just that guys—husbands, boyfriends, whoever—can't seem to get a grip on themselves, or is there something deeper going on? Personally, those pills freak me out, especially the ones that leave you feeling like there’s something unnatural running through your veins...
Seriously though, ladies, props to all of you!
I’ve been in a committed relationship for ages now, and using something like that never even crossed my mind. My man takes care of business, so we're all good!

It doesn't really matter if there’s zero history of it in your family; sometimes you just pick it up...
Seriously though, go see a doctor.

Talk about irony! My boyfriend has had vitiligo for years now—it hangs out on his eyelids constantly, he’s got bits around his mouth and random spots all over his body that come and go. And then he has the nerve to tell me that what I have on my forehead isn't even noticeable... Okay, fine, maybe it's not super obvious, but I've never had this before! And when I mentioned the spots on my legs, he actually told me I just "overdid it" with the sun this summer! 😂 Can you believe that guy?
Look, if it turns out to be vitiligo, I can live with that. But I'm definitely not thrilled at the thought of it being some kind of fungal infection.
Plus, I really wouldn't want my entire face breaking out in patches!

Well, I can't say for sure. I don't have any of those symptoms, actually. Thank God, because looking at those photos was pretty brutal.😲 😲

So, about two or three months ago—I can't say for sure, my memory's a bit fuzzy—I started noticing these little white spots on my lower legs, right near the ankles. They aren’t super bright white like what you’d see with vitiligo, but since I have a darker complexion, they definitely stand out. Then, about a month ago, one popped up on my forehead. It’s not super obvious, but if I really lean in and check the mirror, I can see it. And then, just a few millimeters away from it, another one showed up the other day. They kind of look like old scars. They don't have any specific shape either; one is vertically elongated, and they just look sort of... blurred? Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
For my face, I've been using Johnson & Johnson moisturizer for combination skin; could my cream be causing this?
Aside from this, I've never dealt with any skin issues before, and there’s absolutely nothing like this in my family history.

urbannomad12 said:Please don't criticize me for letting this topic wander—it actually perfectly illustrates the populist psychology at play here. It seems some people just won't ever agree on this, much like they won't on politics.

Who actually listens to folk-pop? Your average listener probably finished a trade school, served in the military, and then spent six months hunting for work. He’s likely still living with his mom, which gives him enough cash to head out and blow $500-$333 in a madhouse over the weekend. He never cared for history class, so after spending Friday losing his mind to songs by the ex-wife of some notorious North American warlord, he'll spend Saturday at a Johnny Štulić concert, shouting slogans along with an energized crowd of like-minded folks.
From Monday to Thursday, he'll be at work retelling stories about how wild the weekend was—and then Friday rolls around and it all starts over again.
That's the mediocre cycle: living like that until he hits 30, marries some girl he pumped up, has a kid, and suddenly has neither the time nor the desire for music or partying.

There’s really no point in taking these people seriously because there's no substance there. They just jump to those songs because they can follow the lyrics. There isn't a movement behind them like there was for New Wave, Grunge, or even the rise of Techno. They aren't out there preserving a Bob Dylan LP or a scrap of paper where Johnny Štulić wrote "Slut's Sons." I preserve things—and that's why my stuff will last forever. Ceca, on the other hand, is only good until Sunday morning.
