How to transfer video from phone to laptop? in IT Support ·
wearymason4 said:That would be the dream scenario. I actually tried messing around with an adapter on my old HTC Desire 620 at a buddy's place a couple of years back, but it was a bust... the phone just wouldn't recognize the memory stick at all.😢
The adapter looked something like this:

So, how was that memory stick formatted? Just wipe it and format it to exFAT and you should be golden.

Grab yourself a cable like this if you don't have one already https://www.amazon.com/adapter-trus...-9cm-011506032

You just plug it into your phone, record whatever you need onto a USB drive via the other end, and then move those files from the drive wherever you want...

I suppose you should research the different drugs and perhaps start documenting those symptoms—both the good and the bad. That applies to the medication and the condition itself. Maybe it’s just a matter of fine-tuning the dosage. Or maybe there is something entirely new on the horizon. And, if God is looking out for you, well, just pray.

Hasn't helped anyone so far, so I doubt he'll start with him. His only real hope is his meds...

Over the last few years, there’s been more and more evidence suggesting that keto can really improve mental health—for some people, it has even completely cleared up schizophrenia symptoms.

In this video, a professor from Harvard breaks down exactly how it works:
Dr. Chris Palmer: Diet & Nutrition for Mental Health

According to Google:
The guest on this episode is Chris Palmer, M. D., a board-certified psychiatrist and assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He discusses the vital link between nutrition, metabolism, and mental health, along with his pioneering work using the ketogenic diet to successfully treat patients with various mental illnesses, including depression and schizophrenia. Dr. Palmer explains how the ketogenic diet is an evidence-based treatment for epilepsy, mimics fasting states, and may help offset cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease. He describes the key role mitochondria play in mental health, how certain conditions likely stem from mitochondrial dysfunction, and how low-carb diets boost mitochondrial turnover to improve mental wellness. He also covers how low-carb diets positively impact the gut microbiome and weight loss, risk factors for mitochondrial health like marijuana and alcohol, and the best ways to increase circulating ketones based on individual needs. We also touch on how a ketogenic diet affects mood, sleep, and fertility. Dr. Palmer's work offers a revolutionary approach to mental health and illness that, given the prevalence of mental health challenges, should interest people of all ages and backgrounds.

Look, I get that food can impact your mental state, but the idea that it’ll just delete schizophrenia symptoms? No way. When I asked my psychiatrist how much longer I'd be stuck on antipsychotics, he basically told me: "Just be glad we actually have decent meds available."

I’m just taking 1mg of Risset at night, and I only bother with check-ups once every three years... honestly, there's no point in going when all I ever tell them is that I'm doing fine.

This Reddit has been around longer than 2002 😉

😬

I actually first signed up for this site back on October 24, 1999. It looked nothing like this back then—way smaller, maybe five subreddits at most. People mostly hung out in two sections, one called "Midnight Warriors" and some other one I can't even remember. There weren't any moderators either, so everyone was constantly whining, "Give us some mods!"... we were probably only about twenty members total.

Back then, I actually found the URL by accident while flipping through a print edition of the internet monitor...

Honestly, huge respect to you—I actually got prescribed an antipsychotic for some other stuff, but I haven't even touched a single pill yet because, I don't know, I'm just terrified of catching some weird movement disorder or dyskinesia or something like that.

I've been taking antipsychotics for the last 22 years. Back in the day, I was on different stuff—started with Seroquel then moved to Latuda.

I’ve been sticking to just 1mg of Risperdal every night for the last 14 years and honestly, I feel great. Haven't even bothered with a check-up in three years because there’s really no point... what am I supposed to tell my doctor when everything is working fine?

Harold Anderson3 said:I take Seroquel right before bed, so definitely in the evening.
Personally, I think nighttime is the better option since drowsiness is pretty much the main side effect with almost all antipsychotics.
Though, honestly, 1mg of Risperdal is such a tiny dose that it might not even be enough to make you sleepy. 🤷

Alright, thanks.

For those of you on antipsychotics, when are you actually taking yours—morning or night?

The Psychiatrist who first put me on Risperidone told me to take it in the morning, but then the private Psychiatrist I saw later suggested switching to nighttime.

Right now, I'm taking 1mg of Risperidone at night.
