Employee number one was behind the deli counter with the meats and cheeses, just tossing some rolls around while chatting with the other two. Employee number two was leaning heavily on the register, talking away without doing a lick of work. The third one was just shuffling yogurt containers left and right in the fridge, trying to make the dairy aisle look "perfect."
Exactly! We should probably ban retail workers from talking to each other altogether. They should just stand perfectly still, waiting for customers to arrive. And of course, they need to maintain a mandatory smile at all times.
They also need to be constantly busy, even when there isn't a single soul in the shop. 🙏

Then she stuffs the pastry into a tiny little paper bag with two fingers, and the grease immediately soaks through the paper and messes up my hands.
They don't even have time to sit down and eat, so they just grab something on the go. But we should probably ban that too! Otherwise, some sensitive person might get offended by the fact that employees actually need to eat sometimes. 🙏
The grease soaked through the paper? Give me a break. It's a greasy pastry! 🤣

"That'll be four sixty-six," she says. I hand her a ten-dollar bill, and she looks at me like, "Oh my gosh, don't you have any smaller change?"
Some people are just incredibly easy to irritate. 🙏
Maybe it's because you don't have any real problems in your life? 🤷
