Have you actually tried these ones? It’s practically an out-of-body experience...😍
Loacker, seriously—you can't go wrong!
Honestly, this is the absolute gold standard when it comes to what you can find here in the States—nothing else even comes close. Especially that orange one.

You can only find them online, though they aren't exactly cheap.

I'm just not sure if they actually ship here to the States.
Here are a few ideas to get you started...

Thanks!

Honestly, I spent some time scrolling through the internet the other day looking for an image of exactly what you’re after, and you wouldn't believe it—I couldn't find a single one. Nothing. Zilch. Zero. To make matters even worse, staring at all those gorgeous, over-the-top cakes actually triggered a massive sugar craving, so I ended up ducking out of work early just to go grab some chocolate. And of course, I'm supposed to be on a diet right now.

Anyway, I'll ask my friend to send me a photo of that cake I mentioned earlier, and then I'll get back to you.

It used to be so simple—we just had the one original version, you know? No fancy layers, no nothing, just a massive rectangular sheet cake, and that was that...

I actually love that idea most. I attended this wedding where they did exactly that—a white, single-tier cake that was huge. They decorated it diagonally with flowers (they used long-stemmed callas, but you could totally go with whatever you want), and it looked absolutely stunning. It was just so simple and elegant, yet it made such an impact because it was different from the usual stuff. Either way, 👍.

Look, if you ask me, keeping the portions small is actually a genius move. It lets guests sample a little bit of everything without feeling overwhelmed. You know how it goes—someone grabs a massive slice, realizes it’s not their thing, and then leaves 90% of it sitting there on the plate before grabbing something else. Or worse, they overindulge and end up feeling sick, so they stop eating altogether. Besides, since you're buying by the pound anyway, the cutting style doesn't really matter; the total weight stays the same, and people definitely notice when you're being thoughtful about the servings.

haha, only you could get this worked up over a display stand! 🤣 honestly, you're such a snob about it. but hey, I guess there's a method to the madness—at least you know exactly what you want. meanwhile, I’m always just wandering aimlessly through a maze of endless possibilities...😕 personally, those cookies are a huge deal to me since I actually love eating them, so I'm stuck in a total dilemma here..

I’ve always been a huge fan of those super dry, crumbly cookies from Trader Joe's—especially the Melieri ones (if I'm remembering the name right)—but I haven't really ventured into their cakes yet. That’s actually why I tend to gravitate toward those rich, Middle Eastern style desserts and pastries instead. Though, looking at the budget, maybe ordering full-on cakes for a wedding might be a bit overkill? Everything I've picked up from Magnolia Bakery has been delicious, but let's be honest, they aren't exactly cheap either, right? Even there, I usually find myself reaching for the individual pastries rather than the big cakes.

Ooh, I love Sugar Land (assuming you mean the one over by the park)! I'm also a huge fan of Orient, Meli, and Piece of Cake... Has anyone here actually ordered wedding treats from any of those places before?
