Not sure where to post this, but if anyone’s looking for a navy blue balloon top and a blue and white checkered shirt—size 20/22, brand new and never worn, Ulla Popken—maybe shoot me a DM? A friend of mine is selling them.
From what I can tell, this Figleaves site has some really pretty stuff, but man, those prices are just way too high 🤷 Here in the States, you don't see any H&M stores with a Buy It Back section 😉 Triumph also carries larger bra sizes—they actually go up to an F cup 😉
Honestly, if you want $667 custom boots made exactly how you like them, just go to a cobbler 🤷. So, I decided to get mine made for this fall because, I don't know, I was just tired of hunting for knee-high boots that actually fasten at the calf but aren't way too baggy around my ankle. My ankles are super narrow, so finding the right fit is such a pain! 😉

No problem at all! Happy to help! 😉 By the way, this past Sunday and yesterday over at the mall, C&A had a 20% discount on everything in their bio section. I guess? Not really sure how long that sale lasts, though! 😉
The Ali Clockhouse collection is available here in size XL too 🤷 I've actually got two pairs of their summer shorts and one pair of jeans, plus I'm wearing their little top and pants right now—everything was picked up at CC1 😉
I usually land on a size 42-44 in pants and maybe a 38-40 in shirts, depending on how they're cut, I guess. "Most of my stuff comes from places like Gap or Marks & Spencer, and if I’m ever traveling through Europe, I might hit up H&M too."😉 To be honest, finding the right fit is still such a pain for me—like, I can never find cute knee-high leather boots that actually fasten comfortably around my calves, or bras that fit right (I'm a 38B, I think). I actually stumbled upon one bra in that size just by pure luck! It was on sale at a $8.25 🤣 Takko shop while I was visiting a city out west, but besides that... 🙄 I used to shop at Dorothy Perkins back before everything went downhill, you know? They had such a huge selection then. And I totally agree with what Jason Moore63 said—their jeans actually last. Mine don't get those holes between the thighs immediately, unlike, say, some brands that start fraying after just a month of wearing them. 🙂 So yeah, I don't really bother there anymore.😁 Most of my denim is just standard stuff from Gap or Marks & Spencer.😉
There’s this one bakery over in the neighborhood—if you're coming from the suburbs, it's right there on the right side in one of those newer buildings—where the cakes and pastries look and taste totally amazing 😍 Does anyone happen to know the name of that place? They actually had a shop out in a rural area until recently too 😉
If anyone could recommend a solid orthopedist or rheumatologist around Washington, D.C., I’d be super grateful! 👍 Maybe someone covered by Medicare, or even just a private specialist if needed 😉
If anyone knows a solid dentist who’s taking on new patients under Medicare, I’d be so grateful if you could DM me their info! 😉 So, I actually got this "letter" from Medicare a few days ago saying my current dentist didn't renew their contract with them, so I have to find someone else. Honestly, I have zero clue who to go to or even where to look since I've been seeing the exact same guy since I was a kid 🤷 I live over in New York City, but location isn't really a huge deal for me—I just really need someone who's good and actually accepting new patients 😉
Michael Bailey7 said:Can anyone recommend a good physical therapist in Washington, D.C.? Also, maybe someone knows roughly how much a private consultation costs?
Well, I actually went to Aritheru 😉 The staff there are super knowledgeable. A checkup is about $67, but they take insurance too—you just have to wait a bit longer. They’ve got everything you might need for therapy, too. I did some pool work and laser therapy there. You can use your insurance for that, but if you go private, treatments are around 60-$33 maybe, depending on what kind of session you get 😉.
Hey, has any of you ladies tried buying boots on eBay? And like, what keywords do you even type in to actually find boots that fit us with thicker calves?! 🤷
Yeah, I’d probably go with green or purple, but since it’s a beach wedding, those ones you posted with the starfish and seashells would be totally perfect!😍😉
Oh my gosh, Sarah Taylor4—that is absolutely stunning!!! 😍 That’s exactly the kind of thing I’ve been dreaming about! 😉 I am totally obsessed with those "ocean" vibes!
We aren't even really planning on doing a traditional cake, more like muffins or cupcakes instead..😁 Something like this, though maybe just not in those specific colors..😉
Personally, my favorite thing is when shops have sales (I was just at Target!) and there isn't a single size 40+ left in stock! I mean, everyone rushes to grab all the "big" sizes immediately, and then later on, nobody wants the 34s or 36s... 🙄 Like, who even is actually crazy enough to do that?! 😕
