Why would anyone pick a Jewish woman from the 1950s? I guess it’s like saying, "Hmm, I have fresh bread and stale bread; I'll just eat the stale stuff so nothing goes to waste." But by the time you finish the old bread, the fresh one has gone stale too. You never actually get to enjoy the bread. In your case, maybe just swap out "enjoy" for "turn a profit"...
