Whoa, hold on. Is Nike some kind of psychic organization or something? Like they’ve got "inside info" we aren't privy to... I see Los Angeles has that 2011 championship patch on their sleeve, but as far as I can tell—and I'm looking at how things stand right now—Chicago is sitting on a four-point lead with just three rounds left to go. 🙂
Borussia Dortmund's kit is an absolute disaster—even their home jersey looks like a total joke this season. They’re acting like babies right now, but honestly, they'll be complete trash by next year too. It's not like they have any of that grit you see with Boavista, so come on, Kappa...

Honestly, I can't bring myself to rip the tags off, so I almost never actually wear my jerseys. I still collect them religiously, though... I just can't count the number of times I've actually put one on. It's basically zero.
I don't know, maybe it's some kind of psychological disorder...😁
Susan Collins11 said:If you're using a major courier like FedEx, UPS, or Maersk, there shouldn't be any customs fees involved. I've ordered stuff from Amazon, LA Galaxy, or NYCFC before, and honestly, I was pretty surprised when the guy just showed up at my door two or three days later with everything paid for, no extra charges at the doorstep👍 . I never really go overboard with big orders—usually just grabbing a jersey, maybe a t-shirt or some keychain... nothing crazy .
This jersey feels a bit too much like a Russian kit, at least compared to the old model they had before this one... and from what I’ve read, the fans aren't exactly thrilled because it strays from the traditional colors (assuming they stick to the classics for the away kits). It reminds me of how PSG fans were up in arms when they introduced a red kit as the primary option, pushing the classic blue, red, and blue combo down to the away lineup. But hey, that's just for this season; the standard look will be back at Prince Park soon enough...
As for the Juventus situation, legend has it they started with pink jerseys, but they ended up looking white after a bad wash cycle, so they basically borrowed the black-and-white stripes from Turin and "borrowed" them for their big rivals...
I actually had no idea about the Everton thing. So, I guess pink is the color of champions then...🙂
Barcelona actually took their color scheme from Basel...
Atletico Madrid modeled their kits after their founders, Athletic Bilbao, who in turn lifted the look from Sunderland. Apparently, some guy just hauled them over to Bilbao after buying that exact combination at the docks in Sunderland while he was waiting for his ship to head out...
Exactly. That first one is solid, but the second one really catches my eye because it’s just so different from anything else out there. Nobody does pink except maybe Palermo, though even they don't use this specific shade. This one is a loud, obnoxious pink... they were definitely trying to be controversial. But if you look at the sales figures, pink isn't making any waves in the Everton kit lineup this year. At the end of the day, football is still a man's game—mostly, anyway—and since that color hasn't quite landed with the male demographic for whatever reason, it’s pretty obvious it might be a bit "too soon" for this kind of marketing move... 😁I can only imagine the kind of comments people would drop if someone actually tried to push this through...
..moving on... Lyon just dropped their new kit:
Personally, I think it's great.
..and apparently, they're calling it Mexican white:
So, does anyone actually know if there's some kind of legend behind why Everton wears those pink jerseys?
I mean, it’s such an unconventional choice... especially for a men's football squad. Though, if you think about it, pink isn't inherently a "feminine" color. That whole idea is just some outdated, forced way of thinking—like how people act as if women shouldn't wear blue because it's supposedly a "masculine" color and all that nonsense...
This first Bordeaux kit might actually be a massive hit, purely because it finally looks like it was designed by an actual human being instead of some corporate machine.
As for Chelsea, nothing special really... honestly, the design is just plain boring.
The black Liverpool FC kit? Now that's excellent. Truly a great design.
Real Madrid—nothing to write home about. I guess the gold adds a little bit of a refresh, but again, it’s way too classic for my taste, especially with that Bwin logo slapped on there. I can't stand that sponsor.
Athletic Bilbao—I try not to let bias get in the way, but the jersey is solid. What I'm trying to say is...😁
..but still, nothing they've done comes anywhere close to that French Football Federation collection.😁
Don't even worry about it, Rue de Rivoli is packed with those high-end boutiques, so it’s definitely doable. Though, honestly, the prices there are absolutely brutal—at least when it comes to jerseys; I didn't bother looking at anything else. I spotted those latest US Soccer Adidas ones for about 50 bucks in those little side streets near Notre Dame, just after you cross the bridge where all those Greek spots are... otherwise, the selection is pretty thin unless you stick to the big shops right in the heart of the city. Once my phone gets back from the repair shop, I'll post some pics of the jersey 🙂
William Williams21 said:How did you get it so cheap? I bought some sneakers at the Adidas on Champs-Elysees for 85 bucks, but the jersey was 119 at a different Adidas shop, so I wasn't really checking🤷 which jerseys they have, I mean, like the 🤮NBA ones...
Cheap?😲 85 dollars isn't exactly a steal 🤷 , but whatever, doesn't matter.. Anyway, there are two Nike shops on Champs-Elysees only about 300-400 meters apart. One is a Paris Saint-Germain fan shop, but they carry all kinds of Nike jerseys—everything from PSG to Brazil, France, Inter Milan... and the prices there were about 20 bucks cheaper than at the Nika Paris shop, the one where they have those massive pictures of Maloude or Sagn at the entrance with "Vive Le football libar" written on it. I'm not sure which Adidas shop you're talking about, though, since Nike is the manufacturer here, so I highly doubt an Adidas shop would be stocking Nike jerseys. To me, that sounds as ridiculous as finding Pepsi in a Coca-Cola cooler, or vice versa. 🤷
p.s. I found it pretty wild how the Nike jerseys in the PSG shop are tethered down with these heavy-duty security cables to prevent theft... looks almost overkill. Honestly, I don't think even the most determined thief could walk away with a jersey with that kind of security in place 😁
William Williams21 said:I was out in Paris last week checking it out... Absolutely gorgeous...119 bucks...It was a bit steep for me☕So I just picked up some Beckenbauer shorts instead (85)😁
Saw him over on the Champs-Elysees, though they were mostly pushing those popular 85 dollar ones. Caught a glimpse when he first arrived... 😲 😁
Back in 2011, it was the absolute best. If I spot a better model later, I'll probably just sell this one... 😉
There are two Nike shops over there, one near the Sagn location and the other one by Paris Saint-Germain...
The jersey looks incredible. Honestly, they probably passed on it because they thought there wasn't enough red, but I think if you paired it with white shorts—or maybe even some red plaid ones—it would look absolutely killer. Really powerful...
Here’s a clean example of why I spend so much time complaining about those Frenchmen... this isn't even about the away kit they're wearing right now, but it illustrates my point. The people over there are losing their minds because while they got a decent away jersey, they completely ditched the classic national colors—you know, that whole liberty, equality, fraternity vibe. Now, regarding our own kits, I still maintain we should stick to blue. It’s not some political statement or anything like that, it just looks better. That blue and white star combo is just aesthetically superior. Remember that 2007 design with the stars offset to the side? Like a vintage classic... that blue was top-tier, honestly one of our best away looks, similar to the 2008 version. This current one? Not really hitting the mark...
I’d love it if > happened to have a shot of that "third" concept kit that never actually made it to production—the one with the gold stars 🙂
That’s kind of the whole point, isn't it? To actually stand out from what Adidas does. Most of those Adidas away kits for France have been... well, hit or miss, bordering on total disasters—I mean, if anyone remembers that red one... but this Nike collection actually hits the mark. It’s just clean, simple, and doesn't try too hard with all that unnecessary flash.
So, let me just reiterate and wrap things up regarding this new France collection:
So, what do you guys think of the new France away kit after the match? Personally, I think this whole FFF collection is spot on. Throw on the jersey, some jeans, and just head out into the city... 😁
