And you know it's such a mess because there isn't even anything signed. I guess it would be great if some lawyer stepped up who actually knows how this stuff works when you have witnesses but zero paperwork. Or maybe start using those debt collection tactics companies use. Nothing aggressive, obviously. Just kind of bug him literally every single day, and then maybe start asking his relatives or neighbors about his money situation—like, if they know he's basically drowning in debt and all that... But honestly, that might just make things worse. He might just get pissed off and decide he's not paying back a single cent, and then we're right back at square one.

I think I saw something about that on a forum once, though I can't quite remember which thread it was. If you end up digging into which specific countries they're talking about, let me know what you find!

You say you’re an entrepreneur, but man, you’re on this forum 24/7. I really hope you hit the jackpot on some lottery ticket or something, just so your business doesn't go belly up.

My bad, I totally missed that this loan was interest-free. I guess the bank just isn't looking to make a buck here; they really just seem focused on helping people out.

In some places, there’s this rule where they can't just seize a single property from you, like your apartment or whatever. But looking at these proposals, I guess it probably won't be like that here in the USA.

Look, he wasn't just paying back the principal. Seriously, take another look at the numbers.

So, what's your point there? I mean, we already knew that. Maybe it seems weird to you over in the Netherlands, but for us regular folks, it's nothing new. The wealthy crowd has been able to save money and build up their assets long before this law even existed.
hollowcanyon81 said:Hey there!

Had some bloodwork done the other day for my six-month checkup since I'm on birth control.
And my results just came back:

PV 1.22 (ref range 0.7-1.2)
INR 0.90 (that's right at the upper limit)
APTV and fibrinogen look fine, but those ones above have me a bit worried... Can anyone tell me if I'm at any risk for thromboembolism or am I still okay? How can I lower these numbers? Diet? (I walk too much, maybe?) 🙂

p.s. I'm taking Diane 35 and my cholesterol is high.. 😠

Thanks for bearing with me!

Basically, the higher those PV values are (and the INR), the lower your risk of thromboembolism. Yours are right at the top end, but honestly, nothing to worry about.
Hey, I'm just checking in! Hope everyone's doing alright today. Just wanted to say hi and see how things are going with you guys. Maybe we can catch up soon? Anyway, talk later! kaže:
Maybe it’s just because of the Sumamed, but I'm with you—definitely worth getting those tests redone. 🙂

When it comes to those lipid levels, honestly, just try to move more. I mean, maybe aim to drop like 20 pounds? If you aren't ready to start running, just walk first—seriously. Then later on, you can step it up to harder, longer workouts. The internet is basically flooded with exercise programs specifically designed for people dealing with this kind of stuff. And look, hipolidemics aren't exactly harmless drugs; they definitely work on your fats, sure, but I guess it’s way better to manage things through exercise rather than just immediately loading up on pills. 😉

I’m with you on everything, I just... I don't know, I find it hard to believe that diet and exercise alone are gonna budge a cholesterol level of 9.2. But hey, maybe they will, you never really know, right? 🙂

It’s also pretty well known that patients can be super entitled sometimes, and they honestly don't seem to have a clue about their legal rights or what they're actually supposed to do.
Regarding your cholesterol, you’re probably going to need to start on some lipid-lowering meds—maybe even a combo of two different ones—since your level is pretty high at 9.2. Your triglycerides are just slightly elevated, though. You can probably nudge those down a bit just by cutting back on pasta and bread; honestly, I wouldn't jump to medication for that quite yet. As for your bilirubin, it's right on the edge, and those ALT and GGT numbers suggest there might be some mild liver irritation. It's most likely just lingering from that recent illness you had, but it could also be from alcohol or certain medications. Don't sweat it too much, though; there's no huge rush here. Just get your labs redone in about 2-3 weeks (specifically AST, ALT, GGT, and bilirubin), and then check your cholesterol and triglycerides again in 1 to 3 months. Actually, waiting 3 months might be better so we can really see how well that new cholesterol med is working.
Hey there, 👍
It might be related, or maybe not. Are you feeling any chest pain, and how fast was your heart racing? Also, did you get your blood work back yet?
