Does anyone happen to know a decent GP on the West Side of NYC? ... I am seriously losing my mind with my current doctor—honestly, I might as well just diagnose myself at this point (which I know I'm not supposed to do)—because I can't even remember the last time she actually gave me a prescription, a referral, or any kind of medication. One time, when I was actually sick, she basically told me I wasn't an old enough woman to be worried about it and that it was nothing, so I should just drink more tea. Meanwhile, I felt like I was dying—running a 103 fever, coughing my lungs out, sinuses were a total wreck—and she just sent me home with absolutely nothing. That’s just one example of... well, everything. To make matters worse, my regular doctor just retired, so now I’m stuck without anyone because I have no clue where to even go. Thanks...
Lisa White54 said:To help with that choking feeling when coughing, my husband used an Iceland moss syrup—you can find it at any local pharmacy. It helps thin out the mucus, so he could cough it up easier without feeling like he couldn't breathe.
Thanks so much for the tip—I'll go look for it and grab some. He already asked the nurse for something for his cough, and she said she'd check, so we'll just see if they actually give him anything. Either way, thanks a million.
It’s honestly exhausting reading through all this... so here’s the short version—my father-in-law has been going in for radiation almost every single day for nearly a month now. He’s also been taking some IP6 Gold to boost his immune system, and I swear, he looks like a different person—he says he feels alive again too. His appetite is back, he can get to the bathroom on his own, and you can actually see the energy returning to him... he hasn't even lost all his hair yet, he's still got plenty, and nothing really hurts except for this nasty cough that keeps choking him up, especially at night... I really hope you guys pull through soon and don't lose heart...
Just wanted to give a quick update—we were over at my father-in-law's place. It turns out things have spread to his lungs, but honestly, he doesn't look too bad. He has lost some weight, though, and he can still eat—his appetite is actually fine. Doctors are waiting on test results this week before they decide if he’s going to go through with radiation or not. Sending my best to everyone.
We’re going to visit him >—thank God—and honestly, those herbalists and bioenergeticists are finally falling by the wayside. I personally don't have much faith in that kind of stuff; I just trust in God, and I really think you can achieve a lot through prayer. We'll pick up some > before we hit the road in the morning, so we're hoping it helps him feel better—but if it doesn't, well, at least we can hope he finds some peace from the pain....
My father-in-law is fighting a bronchial tumor and things have taken a massive turn for the worse over the last few days—he’s coughing up blood, he’s completely wiped out, can't eat a thing, and is basically living on IV fluids. We’ve been getting all sorts of conflicting info about different supplements, and my mother-in-law even reached out to that Bioenergeticist, Mr. Keru, but he was pretty rude and just turned her away. So, we heard about this IP6 stuff and we're heading out to track it down now to see if it helps. We managed to get a contact number for Maja Mirt Bicanic, but she isn't picking up... it's just tough...
Nah, he didn't do them—and since you're a new patient, I haven't got a clue what the price is. Your best bet is just to call and ask, or maybe shoot them an email...
If you’re looking to get bloodwork done for a possible pregnancy, you'll need a referral from your OB-GYN first. Then just head over to the hospital—say, the lab at Holy Spirit—and if you're going through Medicare, you can usually have the results back by 2 p.m. that same day. At least, that’s how it worked for me.
Look, I get it—my husband is also terrified of the dentist more than anything else in the world. We actually found out about Dr. Hercigonja-Matković’s office near Central Park; they take insurance, and if you aren't in an emergency situation, they'll even help you handle those paperwork changes to switch providers over at Jukić's. My husband is honestly thrilled—he’s already booked to go back in two weeks, and I can't even remember the last time he saw a dentist that frequently.
Look, if you haven't switched doctors or dentists in at least a year, you can change them whenever you want. Just pick whoever you prefer—they’ll give you the necessary paperwork to switch dentists, then you just take that over to Jukić's and you're done. My husband actually just went through this recently—it works. The only real catch is making sure a full year has passed since your last switch.
I can't recommend the dental practice run by Hercigonja-Matković (husband and wife duo) enough—they’re located right near Central Park!! My husband actually went there on a recommendation—and he’s usually terrified of dentists—but he was genuinely happy with the results. They even take Medicare...
I'm not entirely sure if Baltić takes Medicare—so, if you're actually serious about this, you should probably just give them a call and ask directly.. best of luck...
No problem at all—everything works out in the end, I guess. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart; we're definitely going to reach out to Dr. Jordan Peterson. Seriously, thanks—you guys have been a massive help!!!!!
