Social Security Number (SSN) in Close to Politics ·
Richard Palmer45 said:So, I think I finally have proof that everything is officially falling apart here!

Yesterday, I got one of those yellow slips saying I had to pick something up at the local Post Office. My first thought was, "Oh great, it's probably that new Social Security ID update" (see title...). So, I head down there, walk up to the counter, say hi, hand over my slip, and the clerk goes to the back to grab an envelope for me. As she’s walking back, I notice right away that the envelope has these two little clear plastic windows on it.... I sign for it, walk out, and take a look at the mail.... and boy, was I SHOCKED!!!

Basically, on the larger clear window, my full name and home address are printed perfectly clearly, and then on the smaller window, there's just a number sitting there.... I immediately suspected it was my SSN, but I figured, nah, there's no way.... they told us this was a sensitive personal number, private and top secret and all that jazz.... so there's no way they'd display it like that!.... I open the letter, double-check everything... and sure enough, it's true!!

I mean, seriously, what kind of idiot decides to print a Social Security number so that anyone can see it through a window?!!!

If someone hasn't stolen my identity yet, they definitely could have done it without breaking a sweat by now.... all they had to do was stand near my (or anyone else's) mail and just read it..... they could have grabbed everything they needed (and probably everything that would end up on official documents) — my FULL address, my name, and my ENTIRE Social Security number!!!!

It's not even that we're in trouble, it's more like the trouble is being built from the ground up by our own mistakes!!

But what does that even have to do with an SSN!? Any amateur could've read your private info if they were "near" your personal stuff anyway, right?

Well, you go ahead and eat that mess... 😂

Got any other doublespeak like that?

I honestly don't know how anyone survives more than 2,000 posts on a political forum filled with this kind of mindless, brown-nosing chatter...
I mean, you really can't see when someone points out that Sanders is just as much of a moral disaster as his current political rivals in the US? You think it's "kissing up" just because someone calls out a complete lack of integrity... I think you might be having some serious trouble with basic logic here...

I have a suggestion for everyone who hates the current administration: crank your thermostats up to the max. I know for a fact I'll be doing it. 😈

If we all do this, we'll trigger a shortage that’ll fuel massive public outcry against Prime Minister Ivo and his cabinet. People get incredibly restless when their homes drop below freezing. No amount of political spin can fix that kind of discontent.

No more waiting. Let's get to work!

Well, once your plan reaches its conclusion (no waiting, time to act!), one has to admit that given how "original" this post is, you seem pretty agitated and desperate to see the current leadership toppled as soon as possible. Since your little scheme might take far too long—given that the US has huge natural gas reserves and considering Sanders's legendary knack for maneuvering through crises—let me offer a suggestion for using gas that's much faster and more efficient...

Since you clearly believe there's a massive group of like-minded people willing to sacrifice themselves just to bring down the government, why not organize a mass suicide instead? In a day or two, once you've coordinated to ensure a high turnout, just crank the gas open in your apartments and blow yourselves up all at once. If you leave behind apology letters stating you did it because of the ruling party, I think even someone with the questionable moral compass shown by Sanders would be forced to resign under that kind of intense public pressure...

And to make sure your many potential followers actually take you seriously, as a true leader who should set the example, you ought to go out first tomorrow morning so we can get the news of your magnificent action moving quickly...
