Let's tank the government by hiking gas prices!

I have a suggestion for everyone who hates the current administration: crank your thermostats up to the max. I know for a fact I'll be doing it. 😈

If we all do this, we'll trigger a shortage that’ll fuel massive public outcry against Prime Minister Ivo and his cabinet. People get incredibly restless when their homes drop below freezing. No amount of political spin can fix that kind of discontent.

Judging by how much energy you pour into these ridiculous little schemes of yours, considering your massive spike in gas consumption... honestly, the only thing getting absolutely wrecked is your own underwear. 🙄

Jebigam, I finally shut off the gas today and fired up the wood stove instead. It’s a solid 80 degrees in here right now—absolute bliss, 🙂but what’s the move from here? I’m honestly worried we’re just going to end up driving our own utility bills through the roof if we aren't careful.😁

Just switch back to the gas for now and save your firewood for later, when the gas actually runs out.

I’d honestly suggest packing a few pounds of explosives around your waist. Just head straight for Times Square. Look, maybe things won't actually improve under this new administration, but if we consider the fact that you won't be around anymore, it seems like a pretty fair trade-off.

Though, I suppose the real question is: who would be left to serve up such brilliant ideas once you're gone?

Honestly, these kinds of ideas aren't exactly groundbreaking given the political and social mess we're living in right now. It's just the predictable fallout from a cocktail of neoliberal capitalism, anarchy, and Bolshevism.
The only way out, if you ask me, is through nationalism. We need a nationalist government, economic nationalism, and some actual liberalism.

A country where the leadership doesn't have to deal with the immediate frustration of its citizens—where they get met with nothing but hostility for even the slightest bit of effort—is a country that simply cannot function. You end up with a ruling class whose only priority is staying in power, while the opposition spends all its energy undermining the state and blaming everything on whoever happens to be in charge.
They cling to power specifically to avoid making any changes or progress that might shake up their voter base.
The whole system is broken, and frankly, it’s not just on the politicians; the entire public bears some responsibility too. But hey, it is what it is.

If we ever want to actually move forward, we'll need a total structural overhaul. But if we tried to start that process from the ground up with the people, it would just get shut down at the ballot box. Well, you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.

There are other ways to utilize natural gas—ways that might actually protect the Government from such shortsighted individuals.
