Douglas Kern said:Look, I’m the one curating this content—nearly 90% of the updates since I discovered this board are my own work. When it comes to Fantasy kits, I only post the ones I actually find interesting or the ones that are spectacularly bad; the last example was the FC Copenhagen one.
If I posted every single thing I stumbled upon, this place would descend into absolute chaos.

A few days ago, I posted the jerseys for the clubs I actually follow, and today I've added a few more for comparison; notice the blatant difference between the New York Red Bulls kits. 😁

Lately, this place has been cluttered with random junk. Let’s clean this up: you don't need to dump five random fantasy kits you just stumbled upon. Only post the ones that are genuinely good or worth talking about. For example:
this is a high-quality fantasy kit made by someone who actually knows what they're doing. It's worth discussing because it could realistically be a future official kit.

Now, this is a poorly made fantasy kit. Just look at the disproportionate Volkswagen logo and how it looks like it was slapped on with MS Paint. This shouldn't even be here. Look, Douglas Kern, if you love it that much, fine, post it. 😁

Same goes for other kits. Matthew Brown60, you posted jerseys from several seasons ago. Unless you're starting a specific discussion about them, there's no need. By the way, the New York Red Bulls didn't always have that crest; what you posted is an old away shirt. This is what the current season looks like:

Just a few quick guidelines, if you agree... if you don't, screw mellowowl38. 🤣

I mostly find myself looking at kits from the 2009/2010 season. My process is usually searching for the club name plus "kit" and then scrolling through the images. I was trying to draw a parallel between AEK and Fenerbahçe since they used to share similar colors. Same with similarities between New York Red Bulls and Salzburg. Maybe we should start a separate thread for national team kits. I agree that this space should focus on new kits, specifically once they are actually released.

Ryan Sanchez98 said:The patterns Nike is using for this year's kits—and even what they have planned for next season—are absolutely revolting. I can't even put it into words. It’s nauseating.

On top of that, the quality of Nike jerseys is subpar compared to the standards set by Adidas or Umbro.

That's just how they play in Brazil.

I've checked a few shops already, but they didn't even have those Michael Jordan sneakers I've been hunting for forever, let alone this jacket. Since I'm not from around here, I'm still getting my bearings in the city. 😍

The Kansas City Chiefs are just underwhelming at this point.

Does anyone actually have a lead on this?

I’ve never even seen him out in the wild at a local grocery store or anything. 🙂
Look, you should try searching online—hit up eBay or maybe find a dedicated Sochaux fan site. I actually know a guy who constantly sources jerseys from Colombia and Mexico through various web outlets. Every time I try to track down those specific kits here on the US web, they just don't show up, even when I type in the club's exact name. It’s frustrating. Plus, the sizing is a nightmare; everything is tiny, unless you're looking at the South American brands.

That one from Liverpool FC looks great. I wouldn't go so far as to say all South American kits are tacky, though—there are plenty with just a single sponsor. Some of them are actually quite classy and often remind you of high-end European club or national team jerseys. Personally, I think the one from Mineir is the absolute worst of the bunch. The rest look solid.

Chelsea has something similar, but this version is much cleaner and more elegant. You also have to account for the fact that many clubs in the USA struggle financially.

mellowowl38 said:It’s alright, I guess, but let’s be real—it’s nothing to write home about. Is this really what they came up with for a 30th anniversary? They definitely went for "loud" if they were aiming for anything at all.😁

Exactly. It's been 30 years, but we're still a young club. Our fanbase tends to sit in the upper tiers—more educated people, frankly—unlike the crowd at Colo-Colo.
I already posted about Cobrelou in the topic other league. Most Colo-Colo fans are basically street thugs.

Hannah Castillo said:I'm not quite sure which sub this belongs in, but this felt like the right spot...

I have a friend. She’s always been a genuinely good person—straight-A student, reliable, polite, organized, you name it.
Then, during her sophomore year of high school, it was like she just grew tired of being seen as the "good girl." Suddenly, she started fabricating this persona of a wild party girl who lives for the nightlife.
Out of nowhere, she starts claiming she’s slept with dozens of guys, lost her virginity at twelve, went on trips to Europe with some guy when she was ten, or tells these elaborate lies about getting proposed to last Valentine's Day. She talks about partying every weekend and drinking constantly. Everyone knows it's nonsense, but nobody wants to be the jerk who calls her out, so we all just let the lies slide. We haven't even met any of the "friends" she claims to hang out with, despite us all being close for four years now.
She’s 18 and a half now.
I don't get the motivation. What’s wrong with being seen as a responsible, decent person? Have we really reached a point where you have to pretend to be a reckless hedonist just to feel accepted?

Whenever she starts spinning these yarns, I just ignore it and change the subject. I've noticed it's grating on our other friends too, and they're starting to tune her out. But she won't stop; she finds a way to bring up sex or something equally desperate almost every single day.

What do you all think? How can I make her realize how exhausting this is without having to be brutally blunt about what I actually think of her?

Sounds like someone with zero substance.😂😂

mellowowl38 said:It’s not plagiarism, man. We don't even own the rights to that specific look, and honestly, that club has cycled through similar kits a few times now. I can't say if they've rocked this style since forever, but I've definitely seen them wearing something like this before.

Back in '94, they had those little square patterns on the sides.
It's entirely possible they took inspiration from Rhode Island; their previous kits looked nothing like this.
You can check the timeline on Wikipedia to verify.

Even Liverpool FC uses checkered patterns.

Is it actually possible they ripped off an American jersey design, or did we just steal theirs?
