Sophia Gonzalez66 said:Look, you’re only 23. That’s honestly nothing. I feel like I’m just repeating myself from that psychology thread earlier, but seriously—go hit up a gym or find some sport you actually give a damn about. It’s the easiest way to meet people who aren't boring. Plus, you might actually end up going out somewhere. I know, I know, showing up solo feels awkward as hell when you don't have a crew, but you mentioned those classmates from college? Just reach out to them once in a while. Even if they act a little weird about it, it's worth it just to get out there and eventually find your own people...

I've joined a gym several times now, and I've never actually met anyone there.

Much better. Though not quite there yet.

Megan Peterson87 said:hopefully it isn't salmonella😁

From what I understand, salmonella doesn't usually cause you to start vomiting quite that rapidly.

If things are getting truly unbearable, give 911 a call and ask them how to manage the vomiting.

The vomiting actually stopped on its own, just as suddenly as it started.

Are you sure you didn't have a few drinks? 😁

I haven't even left my bed, yet I feel like I've been run over by a freight train; I'm certainly not feeling my best.

It hit me hard last night. Between 9 PM and 4:30 AM, I was dealing with nine bouts of vomiting and at least that many runs to the bathroom. On top of that, I had this relentless, agonizing cramping in my gut that just wouldn't let up for nine straight hours. No fever, but honestly, there were moments when the pain felt genuinely fatal. I haven't managed to eat anything today besides a little bowl of soup, and I've been sipping tea all day. The diarrhea hasn't stopped, though it's finally losing some steam. I feel completely drained—I look like I've aged ten years in a single night.

I don't think it's the flu after all. It’s only been four days since the first symptoms showed up, and I haven't had a fever all day. I’m still coughing and sniffing, but even that feels significantly weaker now.

Nathan Collins2 said:It’ll probably flare up again, unfortunately,😢 depending on which strain of the flu happens to be "in style" this season. The last one I dealt with lasted maybe two nights and a day, which felt incredibly short, though that was three years ago; lately, over the last couple of years, they seem to drag on for a full week and just absolutely floor you.😢
As soon as it crosses 101.3°F, you really need to step in; don't let it climb all the way to 104.

Strept throat is certainly a possibility, too, but given that it's flu season—and since ruggedmaker36 didn't mention his throat being so painful that he can't swallow or even speak—I have my doubts about it being strep.🙂

When I first checked my temperature last night, it was already at 102.4°F, so I took some Lupocet immediately. Even after that, I found myself checking it every hour, only to see it steadily climbing despite the Lupocet, which is supposed to bring it down.

I was running a fever of 103.8 degrees at 6 in the morning, but just now I checked and I'm down to 98.0. Honestly, I’m just hoping it doesn't spike back up to 104 tonight; I felt like I’d been trampled by a herd of elephants earlier.

From what I've read, a temperature between 100 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit is pretty typical when you're dealing with the flu.

On Monday evening, I suddenly felt this stinging sensation in my lungs and started coughing lightly. Within half an hour, the cough intensified so much that I ended up in bed, wheezing like an idiot. By the next day, nothing had changed—just a dry cough lasting all day. Then yesterday hit: fever, congestion, muscle aches, and now my throat is starting to feel sore too. My temperature climbed to 104 F during the night. Could this be the flu?

Mystikal said:Watched the movie today... honestly, just pure boredom, especially that scene where that typical girl gets jumped by a hundred people in a hall and then naturally defends herself... all that nonsense. The plot itself was dull, barely any excitement. Total trash, a huge disappointment.👎

I'm with you there. The plot feels disjointed and it’s just way too kitschy. Definitely not my cup of tea.
