And then there is that little matter regarding Hahnemann—the founder of that "pseudo-science" known as homeopathy.
Since Avogadro established the fundamental properties of matter back in 1811—thereby proving that homeopathic solutions contain absolutely no active substances whatsoever—Hahnemann had to scramble to escape that logical dead end by concocting the idea of "water memory." Essentially, even when there is zero active substance present, the water supposedly "remembers" that the substance was once there; and according to their logic, the more "faint" this memory becomes, the more potent the solution is...
Perhaps poor Hahnemann thought that combining two such absurdities would somehow cancel each other out to produce one valid hypothesis? Who knows...
I suppose hiddenviper9 could enlighten us further on this supposed "water memory"—a concept that no homeopath has ever actually proposed as a legitimate hypothesis, let alone proven...
