The "lightning in a bottle" moments in sports in Hobbies & Leisure ·
I was watching some old clips last night and it got me thinking about those rare moments where the hierarchy of a sport just gets completely flipped on its head. We all have those legendary athletes who seem untouchable, like they're playing a different game than everyone else. It feels like they’ve mastered the physics of their discipline to a point where a breakthrough from a newcomer feels almost impossible.

But then, every once in a while, someone comes along and just disrupts the entire order. It’s not just about the win; it’s that specific feeling of watching a veteran titan get outmaneuvered by someone who was essentially an underdog just a few years ago. It’s that sudden shift in the landscape that makes being a fan so addictive. You go from thinking "this is settled" to "anything can happen" in a matter of seconds.

Does anyone else find themselves rooting for the disruptors more than the established legends lately?
The Visegrad Group thread massacre has begun... in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Is it actually possible to get any kind of coherent explanation as to why this post was flagged in the thread about the Visegrad Group—other than Sam Green73’s rather blunt reasoning that it was just "trolling"?

They aren't even sending them to our border, but rather to the Canadian-Voivodine border; so even if they were, it wouldn't be an aggressive move—it would just be helping a fellow Visegrad Group member.
Those forces could have been at our border if we didn't have the person we currently have as Prime Minister.

The Polish flag was part of our parade just two and a half months ago, and now some leftist spin doctors are supposed to convince me of their aggressive intentions?

This isn't directed at you, but rather at those who leak such fabrications to the public.

It's honestly sad to watch a high-quality thread being ruined and posts from over a year ago getting edited, while on the other hand, the moderators completely ignore entries like this in the KGK thread:

Halo Effect said:Is there any better argument against that quasi-function than this blonde, lying, corrupt, simple-minded farm girl, campesina?

Alexis said:With the clumsy rambling of Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović before American journalists...

Actually, Forum.hr itself kicked off the hunt for the President by getting politically involved in the campaign—basically moving her topic from "Politics" over to the "2015 election" subforum.

And I don't want anyone attacking me saying this thread is strictly about the Visegrad Group—the thing is, Forum.hr took a one-sided stance in the campaign, intentionally wrecking the Visegrad Group thread and predictably driving people away through surreal moderation, simply because this topic doesn't suit one specific political faction; the same faction that isn't happy about KGK's run for President so we end up with this absurd situation where the threads for Bog Petrov and other parliamentary candidates are under "Politics" because, as Ryan Vaughn explains, "they have far fewer posts than the KGK thread." 🤦
