It honestly irritates me how much everything seems to get under my skin lately; I just have zero patience left for anyone or anything.
It’s equally infuriating when nobody actually bothers to understand my moods. Every single conversation eventually devolves into the same tired clichés: "It gets easier once you have kids" or "That's just normal, I went through the exact same thing". Sometimes I just want to vent and be heard, but everyone assumes they need to jump in with some patronizing attempt to comfort or soothe me.

wanderinghawk, that looks amazing! I’m definitely stealing that idea next time I shop.😉

Since even the neighborhood cats—who usually don't give a damn about smells—have started giving me a wide berth, I figured it was time to introduce some actual good bacteria into my gut 😳
Honestly, I was low-key terrified that my business was gonna keep smelling like a chemical spill 🙈

Seriously though, why does nobody talk about this when they're busy romanticizing the "glow" of pregnancy? 🤣

Oh, come on, isn't it absolutely wonderful when you finally escape that relentless intestinal pressure that basically hijacks your entire consciousness—especially with a big bang! 😁It’s the kind of relief you get when you finally kick off a pair of tight sneakers, though I suppose the lingering scent doesn't help matters much.
Roger Rodriguez said:Those patches completely wrecked my hormones; I gained 30 pounds in just six months, and I dealt with constant allergic reactions at the application site, even though I switched spots every single week.🤷Even now, years later, I still have scars on my arms (where I gripped them most tightly because they kept peeling off my stomach) from those rashes that were so itchy I ended up scratching myself bloody.🙂
On the flip side, a close friend of mine has used them for five years straight without a single issue.🤷

By the way, those synthetic scents always made me feel nauseous too, especially that cloud of cologne my boyfriend sprays around the apartment in the morning; I’m honestly surprised I haven't thrown all his fragrances out the window yet.

Right now, I am beyond frustrated because I actually had an accident in my pants right in the middle of the street. It was pouring rain, so maybe people thought I just sat in a puddle, but it wasn't pretty—I spent fifteen minutes hobbling along trying to find a restroom, only to end up losing it like I'd swallowed a gallon of water just five minutes before reaching my apartment.☕
And for three days, I've been worrying about this stomach ache, terrified that I'd start dealing with massive bloating today. Well, here we are; I feel like if I lit a match, I might blow up the entire apartment building. It feels like I've spent the last week eating nothing but heavy greasy fast food, and now it's all making its exit. I have never experienced anything quite this intense. I woke up in the middle of the night to such a stench that I nearly hallucinated; I genuinely thought I was stuck in a barn next to fifteen horses and cows. This is going to be the death of me!🙂

I second that; unfortunately, I know exactly what you mean.
I’ve basically built up incredible cardio just from sprinting out to the balcony or ducking into a heavily insulated room, all out of pure fear that someone nearby might choke on the smell or call the health department on me for some illegal methane production 😬
Jesse Johnson15 said:🤣 Believe it or not, I haven't really felt 🙂 personally, though I don't care that much about any of it. Even my husband tells me I'm acting completely normal—though maybe he's actually just terrified of me? Or maybe I was always this moody to begin with? 😬 )

And am I the only one who hasn't had those crazy "hangry" episodes yet? When does that part of the madness actually kick in?

By the way, when do you guys usually find time to check in here? Should we maybe pivot to a different topic so we don't go too far off track from the main thread?
I'm pretty new to this group, and man, some of these thread titles are intense 😱 it feels like it's nothing but talk about aches and pains and stuff like that 🙄

point?

Nobody has touched my stomach. Aside from my mother and a couple of family members—and even then, only after they asked for permission. It feels so incredibly strange having you all poking at me! 😂

Maybe you're just putting out some bad vibes? 🤣
And honestly, isn't it just wonderful how everyone focuses entirely on my looks? It’s almost as if I'm not even actually here. 🤷 I mean, look, the comments aren't necessarily bad, but I feel like I'm at one of those awkward small-town county fairs. It's always something like, "Oh my gosh, you didn't even get any freckles!" (Wait, why would I have gotten them anyway? Is that supposed to be the norm?) or "Wow, you didn't really gain much weight!" Honestly, how am I supposed to stay calm when people say stuff like that? 😠 Forget it—I’m more hungry than full anyway. Now I have to sit here peacefully while some liberal pundits try to judge whether I've gained weight or not. Honestly, what is wrong with people?
I was hanging out with a group of pregnant women recently—some I’ve known forever and others I met for the first time. I didn't think twice about commenting on how they looked; instead, I just asked a few thoughtful questions about their pregnancies and left it at that. Isn't it better to focus on the experience rather than the appearance?

I just don't feel like it. Is it just me? 🤣 I just finished up my finals, and now classes are starting back up again. It’s not that I’m drowning in work, but honestly, I’m so exhausted that even my basic responsibilities feel like a mountain to climb. I ended up skipping that certification course because I felt like I couldn't squeeze it in, even though I know deep down it would actually help me out. Is it always going to be this draining?

😘
I can relate to that feeling, even if my hormones are running the show right now; that doesn't mean my feelings aren't valid. Honestly, the things that bother me haven't changed since before the birth, but back then, I had enough patience to just bite my tongue and swallow the nonsense. Now? I have absolutely no filter left, and if something bothers me, I say it.

I'm with you on this one! 🙏
I honestly don't have the energy to deal with everyone's constant whining anymore. I've actually distanced myself from certain people lately, and frankly—I don't miss them one bit! 🙄
Lawrence Cook2 said:I honestly feel the exact same way about that.
It used to drive me absolutely crazy during the early stages of my pregnancy, too—everyone would constantly pester us with questions about what we were going to name the baby. It felt like I had to give the same explanation over and over again, just telling everyone that we hadn't actually settled on anything yet. We finally picked a name recently, so thankfully, they've finally left us alone.

As for the whole thing about leg hair... 🙏
I guess I should just be grateful to the little one in my belly, since I barely grow any hair at all. 😁

Well, I am clearly the complete opposite. I can manage to hide my legs if I really need to, but my face... 😱 I've basically got tweezers in my hand every single day.
Kenneth Wells9 said:Yeah, same here—my hair and nails, especially my fingernails, are growing at warp speed. At first, I thought I was just being paranoid because I felt like I was clipping them constantly, but then I realized it actually is a change in growth rate.
I’ve picked up some light hair around my belly button, but it’s super faint—barely noticeable.
Honestly, after worrying about how much hair I'd deal with during pregnancy, things actually turned out fine.🙂

As for me—my nails are growing at an insane rate and I'm seeing hair on my stomach, but the hair loss? That's what's actually creepy. It’s getting ridiculous; the drain clogs every single time I wash my hair, and after blow-drying, I practically have to vacuum the entire house just to get rid of the fallout.
I’ve been scrolling through the last few pages here and I am honestly dying laughing because it looks like I’m headed straight for the same fate as most pregnant women—dealing with people who either have absolutely zero tact or just zero brain cells.

One thing that drives me absolutely up the wall is when someone tells me I need to eat more because I'm "eating for two!"

Then there's the second thing—every single time I voice an opinion that happens to clash with theirs, I get hit with the classic: "Calm down, don't get worked up, it's just your hormones talking!" Honestly? I'll show them "hormones" if they keep being that stupid. I'm perfectly capable of losing my cool regardless of what my biology is doing! 🙂

And if you really want to know what pushes me over the edge: "You're almost four months along, how do you not have a bump yet?" Well, maybe it's because I'm nearly 5'11" and weigh 185 pounds, so it's a lot harder to see a bump compared to someone who's 4'11" and 100 pounds! What, am I supposed to deliver an 18-pound baby just to compensate for my height and build???

Honestly, you’d be much better off scouting out a cafe with a decent-sized terrace—ideally one with some overhead cover so you aren't stuck in the sun. You should look for something right near the town square or the local parish; somewhere within easy walking distance so you don't have to worry about driving. As for the costs, well, that really depends on which neighborhood you end up in. Your best bet is to just ask 🤷 since I’m out in a smaller suburb, and prices can fluctuate anywhere from a few bucks to quite a bit more depending on the spot.

Haha, oh man, I totally get where you're coming from, but honestly, you’ve got plenty of time to just chill and get everything organized at your own pace.
The moment you figure out exactly what you want, you're already halfway there. And take my word for it—the more people you listen to, the worse things tend to get! 😉 You should probably just hire the wonderful 😁
and don't panic 🙂

Anthony Chase25 said:Probably around September or October next year. I just started looking into things yesterday, so 😁 I'm completely lost. Where do I even start? Should I be hunting for a venue or a church first?

Well, our approach was to secure the venue first. We basically went on a scouting mission through restaurants and banquet halls we actually liked, checking if they had any Saturdays free in May or September, and let that dictate our date.
Once the date was set, we moved on to booking the band, the photographer, and then the catering (we were very picky about what we wanted and didn't want to take any chances with them being booked up). Only after all that did we head over to the priest—who happens to be from our local parish—to tell him, "Hey, we’re planning to wed on these specific dates."
And mind you, we had all of this locked down more than a year in advance.

The rest of the minutiae could wait until later: flowers, cakes, dresses, invitations, thank-you notes... honestly, we're still getting the rehearsal dinner stuff made right now. 😬

Good luck! 😍

I actually gave them a call myself, and everything showed up at my door within three days.😉

Check these out, honestly, I think the prices are actually pretty reasonable
Robert Chavez20 said:Have you tried Martin Luther King Jr. (over in the new Empire State Building near Dodger Stadium)? He even carries Mr. Mot in his collection.

The thing is... everyone keeps telling me they don't have anything formal in the size we're looking for, but apparently they're sewing up new collections that should hit the stores sometime next year.🙄
goldenwolf92 said:My partner ended up getting his suit at Macy's in the mall. Honestly, we spent way more time stressing over his suit than I did over my wedding dress, but we finally got him geared up. One of the best things about shopping at Macy's is that you can mix and match different sizes for the jacket and the pants
which is pretty rare to find and is usually a huge headache for most guys. I guess I actually helped out for once 😉

We could have just shown up, seen everyone, and left without a suit entirely... but thanks for the input anyway. 😉
Neither the mall, nor The Joker, nor anywhere else in the city had what we needed. The pants were alright, but finding a decent jacket? Nowhere to be found. 🙂 🙂 🙂
At this rate, we’re going to have to go hunt down a tailor. 😕

Sophia Hughes6 said:Yeah, standard pharmacies (Walgreens usually carries it) and health food stores (like Whole Foods).

The hemp tincture is manufactured by Suban; they call it Evine drops.

A lovely lady ordered some from the local drugstore..
If this actually works, I might just name my firstborn after you.🙂

Sophia Hughes6 said:Have you tried any drops, like hemp tincture, or maybe evening primrose oil in capsules? Those two seem to get the most praise on the forums.
For me, the tincture helped quite a bit.

Hey, where can I actually pick those up? Like, at a local pharmacy?
