It isn't working out—he really ought to consider a career change.😁>

Meanwhile, I go through the effort of layering up with those old-fashioned tights and pants, and still, nothing works—there is always some kind of complication. If I ever manage to get rid of this cyst and her descendants on my right ovary, I might actually throw the party of the century...

Tomorrow I’m heading in to pick up the rest of my hormone results. Progesterone looks fine, so if this comes back okay too, I’ll be heading back to see Ginić for a consultation. Should I ask him about starting Duphaston again or something else? I feel like I've lost my wits. Help me out, ladies... 🙂

Exactly that...
my tights practically save my lungs, yet some constant misfortune follows me. 🤣

p.s. you're invited to my bash once I finally defeat this cyst. 😂

I'd love to help, but honestly, I'm just as lost as you are.

For instance, my period hasn't even shown up this month—and no, I'm not pregnant; they checked twice at the clinic in downtown Chicago... as if they'd want me pregnant just so they could say, "Well, that explains it!"—and my appointment with Ginić isn't until the 3rd.5...

By then, my ovary might as well just dry up entirely. -.-

Ginić, I strongly suggest you go see a doctor immediately.

I had similar symptoms—mild pains... if I can even call them that. It was more like a stinging sensation—as if your ovaries were tapping you on the shoulder saying, "Don't forget about me, I'm still here."😂

Anyway... this little twinge persisted for a month until one afternoon the pain became so intense they rushed me to surgery, thinking it was appendicitis.

It’s nearly impossible to describe the level of discomfort, but to give you a clear picture—they were wheeling me around the hospital in a wheelchair because walking was out of the question.

Forget walking; I could barely breathe.

A corpus rubrum formed and there was bleeding—which was particularly concerning since I was already bordering on anemia.
🤦 It took seven different doctors and three ultrasounds to finally pinpoint the issue, followed by a three-day stay at Mayo Clinic. *Next time, I'm just going to the vet...*

That happened back in January. This month, it's the exact same story, just a milder version—so please, don't take this lightly.
😉 Especially when it comes to your ovaries; you're going to need those later, and you only have two.

Even if it's just a chill that caused the ache, it's still not something you should mess around with.
There is something inherently fascinating about the tardigrade—or "waterbear," if you prefer the more whimsical moniker. Looking at this particular specimen from Giant Microbes, one can’t help but appreciate the sheer absurdity of its design. It is a tiny, eight-legged marvel of biological resilience, rendered here as a plush curiosity. These organisms are famous for their ability to endure conditions that would instantly neutralize almost any other life form—extreme temperatures, vacuum exposure, even intense radiation. They simply tuck themselves away and wait for better days. It is a stoic approach to survival—quiet, efficient, and remarkably effective. A curious little object for those who find strength in the microscopic.

I was wondering—does anyone happen to know if this is actually available for purchase here (specifically in the NYC area)?
It isn't just that the toy itself carries a premium price—it’s the shipping costs combined with the sales tax that really sting.

Some of them would fit perfectly in a veterinary clinic—plus, I have to say, the water bear remains the most charming thing I’ve ever spotted under a microscope. ^^
