Russia's invasion of Ukraine: Part 5 in War in Ukraine ·
Is anyone else noticing how quiet everyone is about the Russians fleeing mobilization and heading over to Georgia? Like, seriously, just imagine if 100,000 or even 150,000 people suddenly crossed that border—what happens then? Are we talking about refugees or just a massive influx of people struggling to get by? Georgia’s population is only around 3.7 million, which is pretty similar to our own size, and now they're dealing with this huge wave of newcomers. It’s got to be a massive potential humanitarian headache, don't you think?

I mean, I’m not exactly itching to drop $3.50, but hey—if those bank fees keep climbing, why not? It’s honestly just so quick and easy to use. If they could just knock it down to like, two bucks, I’d be paying with Cash App in a heartbeat... Though, you know, I really think the future is all about free payments through service apps. Imagine if everyone—like AT&T or even the local water department in Indianapolis—just integrated it like that. That would be the dream, wouldn't it?

Man, if they had just kept the price at two bucks, you know I would’ve stayed put... but instead, I'm heading back to Chase because of that 2.25 charge. Honestly though, I wouldn't be surprised if all those extra fees start creeping up—maybe even by another fifty cents or so eventually

I’m in the same boat—honestly, I’m looking at maybe saving $2 or $3 a month just by skipping those little transaction fees... It’s not exactly life-changing money, right? I mean, until there's a specific reason to use it, I think I'll just stick to my mobile banking app—it's just way more convenient for everything else. Maybe I'll use the app for paying for parking once in a while, though! Does anyone know how long this promotion actually lasts?

I’m talking about that PayPal card you pick up at a local 7-Eleven for $10... I tried moving some cash onto it, but the transaction just wouldn't go through. On the other hand, my Chase Visa worked like a charm every single time

Has anyone ever tried shopping online from Target? I couldn't get my verification to go through no matter what I did—it was so frustrating! And honestly, I only picked it up because of those Visa discounts they sometimes run... you know how it is, right?

Honestly, it feels like living in the USA this year turned out to be $83 more expensive than last year—can you believe that? I actually ended up installing Laqo, and the price there was pretty much identical to what I paid last time... It’s super straightforward, though. Plus, they're running some kind of promotion over on their Meta page right now where you can grab a code for $67 a discount when you check out

Republican Party - General Discussion in Political Scene ·
Penava was basically just sitting there waiting to see if he’d make the cut on Plenković's list—spoiler alert: he didn't. Instead, he’s going to be the 5th candidate for Škoro, which means he’ll likely slide right into Congress and end up teaming up with that exact same Republican Party he walked away from in the first place. It's almost funny, isn't it? These ten little guys had no choice but to follow him and back his play, especially since their new party is basically tanking and they're losing all their footing in local elections. But hey, that's politics for you—just when one group fades out, some new batch of Republican kids pops up to take their place anyway.

Hey there! Does anyone have any inside scoop on what the pricing is going to look like once those new 180-style license plates roll out? I'm wondering if they'll keep the costs uniform across the country or if we're looking at different rates depending on the state or even specific plate types—that would be a headache, right? I’ve actually got some moving plans coming up soon, so I'm trying to figure out whether I should get everything registered at my current address or just wait until I settle into the new place. Any advice? Thanks!
