I remember you from some other threads, redbison8. Don't you have a wife and a kid? Where are they now?
As for them, they're just being thirsty—that’s not my take, I'm not being bitter or crude. But honestly, you're acting just like them, so don't worry about it. Whether you want to admit that to yourself is a different story entirely.
Hi there,
Is there a way to set up notifications so that when I reply to a thread, I get an alert when someone else responds? I want to be able to jump back into the conversation easily.
Right now, I’ll post a reply here, then move on to another thread, and then maybe a third one, and before I know it, I've lost track of everything. It's hard to find my way back or follow how the discussion is evolving.
Thanks so much 😁
Maybe I’m "that person" who gets under everyone's skin just because I’m always chasing speed 😵😵
I know I drive my friend group crazy because I’m constantly rushing everything. We’ll sit down for coffee for an hour and a half, and I’m sitting there thinking, *come on, pick up the pace*; you walk too slow—hurry up, why are you so sluggish? Move it along... It feels a bit ridiculous looking back at it now as I write this, but honestly, that’s just how I am 🙂
Don't get me wrong, it's not like I don't have responsibilities. I have plenty. It’s more of a deep-seated habit; this is just how I operate and how I feel most comfortable. Slow people really grate on my nerves—the ones who try to handle everything last minute, living by that "take it easy" philosophy. They roll out of bed at 11:00 AM and somehow expect to get a full day's work done, whereas if I haven't been up and moving by 8:30, I start to panic. It isn't that they lack good qualities—I'm talking about my friends here—but I honestly don't know how we manage to coexist given our completely different paces 😉🎉
It is what it is. We can't change who we are 🍿🙂
