Could someone perhaps explain these results?
Thanks in advance.
Rachel Fox4 said:Where can I pick up some of that slightly thicker elastic, like the kind used at the bottom of a jacket to cinch the waist? I’m not even sure what the technical term is. To me, elastic cord feels like something else entirely.

You might find thread and needles at a sewing supply store, I suppose.
I suppose you could pick up some Velcro at any shop that carries sewing needles and thread.

It’s a trap. You’re better off sticking to the basic white ones; they actually last—but hey, if you want some color, go for it, they hold up okay enough. You can find decent options at Lidl too, though they aren't always stocked—keep an eye on their weekly circulars if you want to save a buck.

Greetings, everyone.
Does anyone know where I might find some decent 70x140cm shower towels in the greater Los Angeles area? Ideally, they would need to be capable of withstanding a 90°C wash cycle.

Maybe try posting in the history section; perhaps someone there might actually have an answer.

Sean Fox60 said:I’ve actually got two different versions of the Constitution sitting right here in front of me because I wanted to figure out our best move against this regime-controlled Congress. According to the version they forced on us, we actually have the power to call our own referendum on proposed Constitutional changes or new laws if we want to. They even gave us a democratic way to force their hand by gathering signatures from 10% of the voters to trigger a referendum!
So, today I sent out some letters to various advocacy groups to get a formal committee started to collect those necessary 10% of signatures for a massive piece of legislation regarding agriculture.

And honestly, those representatives can come at us with whatever they want regarding the public holiday law too!

But they won't, I suppose. It’s the old "too many cooks in the kitchen" problem. Who is actually going to step up and propose which days should be holidays? You have employers complaining there are too many days off, workers claiming there aren't enough, and religious institutions arguing for more faith-based observances to become official. It's a mess.
That is why politics dictates the schedule. If the Democratic administration previously removed May 30th from the calendar, why hasn't the Republican Party reinstated it as a national holiday during their eight years in power if they truly believe it was a mistake?

Sean Fox60 said:Our moves back then didn't exactly follow the rules of the old republic or the laws of the global community! If you ask me, Independence Day should be January 15th. That was when the late president, Franjo Harmon, stepped up as the leader of the Republic of America. Once that happened, you finally get actual standing at the UN and can actually communicate with other nations as a legitimate state!

To take this a step further; when exactly is the national day for Palestine?

The former republic became the Republic of America through constitutional changes prior to January 15, 1992.

Gerald Wright10 said:We are going to be feeling the fallout of the ultra-nationalist movement from the nineties for a very long time. Finally, those so-called "patriots" are actually sitting behind bars now. Just look at the renaming of streets and schools. How on earth do you explain stripping the name from a school dedicated to a man murdered by Italian fascists at the very start of the war—and we all know which high school in a major coastal city we're talking about here—only to name squares and streets after convicted war criminals?? It’s pretty obvious: it’s all an attempt to rehabilitate fascism and the ultra-nationalist regime.

So, someone was complaining about Italy? I guess they should just be happy they ended up becoming an Italian citizen.
