I tried making these poppy seed vanilla bites last night, but they turned out way better this time, don't you think?🙂

🙂
And look at what I stumbled upon

Timothy Turner5 said:Why don't you suggest a prize? Maybe we'll actually go with your idea 😛

I'm really not interested in any of these "natural" prizes—honestly, if I win, isn't the title alone more than enough? ☕

Timothy Turner5 said:Since the original prize for the women didn't exactly cause a stampede, I guess we're back to the idea that the winner gets Louise, regardless of whether they're a man or a woman, right? 🤔

Mother mine🤦

Timothy Turner5 said:Look, I’m rooting against Argentina regardless of who they face, but that isn't some personal vendetta just to stop you from winning.😛

So, did anyone actually settle on what the prize is going to be?🤔 😁

Timothy Turner5 said:So, if Argentina actually pulls this off, isn't it pretty much a given that you’ll be crowned the undisputed king of the forum betting circuit? 😛
I'm not going to skip over you. 🤔 😛

That would be a dream scenario, really, but I can't help feeling like the French might just snatch that title away from them. 🕺

Timothy Turner5 said:It isn't an insult, 🙂

🙂 There’s a real chance I might actually pull off a win here, too. 🤔
I posted yesterday's results just now so you don't end up overlooking me. 😁

Timothy Turner5 said:Just an excuse 🕺

Does someone really need to insult you just because you're feeling pathetic? 🕺

rustymaker5 said:goldeneagle36 stayed in the game...😢

I did 🤷 When I was drumming up my picks, I hadn't even considered going against Argentina, and I really didn't want to just throw in someone who had already been mentioned, you know?🕺

USA Argentina 1 : 0
Morocco France 1 : 2

Timothy Turner5 said:That wasn't quite my point 🤣
Jack is a total "butcher"😬

Honestly, you really do have a way with words, don't you? 😁 I think I'll just stay classy, keep my cool, and pretend I didn't even see this comment—which, by the way, is the third time I've had to delete it. 😁

Timothy Turner5 said:I haven't sat through the whole documentary, but I've kept up with soccer enough to know everything was running smoothly while he was around—right up until those Americans (if I recall correctly) showed up with their massive capital and took over the club.🤔
What about bald Jaap, or should we talk about that model David instead?😛
I can't quite remember the specifics since I was just a kid back then😬, though I did catch some highlights later on.🙂

Yeah, yeah, I'm old school, alright?😛
I've never had much time for models,🙂 and honestly, Jaap always seemed a bit awkward, didn't he?🙂 😁

Timothy Turner5 said:You might be right about that, 😛
Ever since Ferguson left, everything has just drifted away into nothingness, hasn't it? 🤔
Man, those "classic years" really bring out the nostalgia. :nostalgia: 😁

And honestly, Ferguson was such a powerhouse—have you actually sat down and watched that documentary on him?
I’ve always found it fascinating how he seemed so wary of just buying a bunch of superstars to throw at the club, even though they ended up having such incredible talent on the pitch anyway. 🙂 I didn't bother watching them much back then because they were all so easy on the eyes, 😁 and while Scholes might not exactly win any beauty pageants, I definitely had a soft spot for Jaap. 🕺 😁
Don't tell me you don't remember that legendary match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League final. 😁

Timothy Turner5 said:Personally, I can't stand them, mostly because of how they act—that sheer arrogance is just too much😳

Well, I guess that makes me arrogant too, doesn't it?🤷 😁
But seriously... I've been a die-hard Manchester United fan forever.🤷 This whole thing started back in the late 90s when I was obsessed with following every single game involving Sir Alex Ferguson.😁

Timothy Turner5 said:What, you don't actually hold them in high regard, do you? 😛

I’ve always had a soft spot for the English and their clubs. 🤷

Timothy Turner5 said:"It's coming home" 🤣

🙂

Englishmen 🙂

Morocco - Portugal 1:2

England - France 1:2

Timothy Turner5 said:But hey, we're facing Argentina in the semifinals anyway, aren't we? 😛

I know 🤷
