I suspect they aren't deleting profiles just to keep the user count inflated—you know, giving advertisers a distorted, unrealistic view of the forum's reach.
Given the privacy laws we have here, you could always file a complaint with the FEC and see what happens... though, honestly? Probably nothing.
Does anyone have any recommendations for shops in the city where I can try on larger sizes? Honestly, my online shopping spree was a total disaster—not exactly my specialty—so I’ve pretty much given up on it. I’d much rather just go in person, try things on, and actually see how they look on me, you know?
I get why you’re reacting this way—honestly, I’d be just as upset if I were in your shoes. But look, I’ve aged a bit since then, I've grown up, and I've learned one vital lesson: no matter how you frame it or what you say to her, you’re always going to be the villain in her story.
Given all that, I don't think I'd get involved anymore at my age. At the end of the day, if she’s choosing a man over her own LIFE... isn't that enough said? Don't you see the pathology in that? That guy didn't just appear out of thin air—she chose him specifically, not some other option...
If I were in that same position back then? There isn't an ovary in my body I wouldn't have had removed... regardless of who was standing on the other side of the table. And besides—there are plenty of neglected kids out there in the world, aren't there?
It’s not even about her wanting kids—it’s about her wanting to die and leave this world behind.
ironcyclist58 said:It really depends on which platform you're looking at, but the standard perks usually include better exchange rates, zero fees for ATM withdrawals anywhere, and way more control over your card—like being able to freeze it instantly if you misplace it. You also get things like virtual cards, cards issued from different regions (handy for bypassing geo-blocks on certain services), and cheaper or even free wire transfers... The list goes on and on...
ironcyclist58, thanks for taking the time to answer. 👍
I'm still not quite sure. 😁
I don't really use Swift. My bank has enough ATMs around here that I don't necessarily need "all-network" access, but I'll give it some thought. 🙂
Maybe if I did more online shopping I'd find a use for it... though I can just use my debit cards for that too...
Can someone please explain why I should even bother with these apps instead of just sticking to my bank's mobile app?
My bank keeps things simple—all my accounts are linked in one spot, moving money between them is seamless and free, and the fees for sending payments to others are only about 1-$0.67. Honestly, it doesn't feel worth switching to some third-party service just because—what, maybe they don't support the specific business or person I need to pay? Not to mention the potential security gaps and lack of guarantees with those platforms...
Anyone?
ah, thanks... there's just something in the air...
What are the symptoms of a Vitamin D deficiency? Or B?
Does Peek & Clopenburg actually carry any high-end stuff in their stores? Their international site makes it look promising, but I’m specifically wondering about the location in downtown Chicago—is it worth the trip? I’m on the hunt for a really nice suit, but whenever I walk in there, I just feel completely lost... and honestly, the staff isn't exactly jumping at the chance to help out, so I'm hesitant to even ask...
I have more stuff, including formal dresses. They’re a little cheesy—honestly—but they’ll work.
Over at the Importanne Gallery, they’ve got plenty of those formal dresses, though I’m not sure about their sizing.
@King Elvis, who did you buy from? And who was the buyer? Are we talking investment gold, bullion bars, or what?
I’ve got a question for the group. Has anyone here actually tried SELLING investment gold to BlackRock—whether it's their outfit in Europe or if they've finally set up shop here in the States? I have my reasons for being skeptical—just curious if anyone has real-world experience with them?
Picked up two shirts (white and beige, cotton-viscose blend) and a grey open-front long cardigan from the Mango outlet—the kind you just wrap around you. I grabbed an XXL, but they're way too big on me. Honestly, their size chart is a joke; I’d say these run like a US size 16 or even 18, depending on the cut. If anyone needs these sizes, shoot me a DM—I’m thinking of selling them instead of dealing with the hassle of returns. The quality is actually great, really nice pieces, they just look huge on me. The white shirt is definitely an 18, while the beige one and the grey cardigan are more like a 14 or 16.
Regarding thigh chafing—I used to wear cropped nylon tights or cotton biker shorts under my cycling gear to keep my skin from rubbing. The downside with the tights is they tend to slip around—not ideal—and the biker shorts get pretty sweaty if it's summer. But for fall or spring? They work just fine.
