Oh, you want to know what kind? All kinds!

It’s all just a scam, whether it's Walmart or some shady corner store, you're getting ripped off either way.

And of course, nothing is ever actually organic.

Then the next day, you wake up and realize your wife almost bit your tongue off, or you suddenly find out your buddy isn't exactly who he said he was...

So you have to ask yourself—for the love of God, why does this happen?

Yeah...

Conspiracy theories, chemtrails, and those weird cookies from overseas...[/QUOTE

Man, I really have to wonder what kind of meds you're on. I'm starting to think we're on the exact same prescription, or at least something pretty close...
I suppose I am truly the only person in the world who would somehow find a way to get bitten by a mosquito coming out of nowhere!

Disgusting.

What on earth does any of this have to do with running a cookie factory in Algeria?

But seriously, this is just the tip of the iceberg compared to what this particular one has put me through. We should all just sit back and have a good laugh at the whole ridiculous situation, haha.

In the future, rather than asking for names, why not inquire about their psychological history?🙂

Yeah, I suppose I could do that.

I am not trying to defend her, but one must wonder...
Could you not have found a better setting to approach her than inside a cramped car? Where else could her words go but directly toward you?😁

It is almost comical..
However, I find myself questioning why you rushed into this at all?
Given the circumstances, you had several options, yet you retreated like a child
in the presence of such an energetic woman.😁

Sasro, I freaked out because after she bit me, she told me she was a total snake, and that really spooked me. I figured if I kept going, things would only end badly. Honestly, my luck with women is already pretty terrible, and most of them just leave me hanging—especially these types. Any advice?

Maybe there's just this moment where you, as a collection of undefined, vibrating energy, realize everything only at the level of "me"... which isn't anything more than just part of the flow...
As such, this "me"... outside of the self... maybe doesn't even exist. There’s no grand meaning, no living inside some mold of stupid theories, rules, or regulations... it just is... vibrating in a given moment...
But that’s not enough. So then the "real me" prefers to pretend that things actually matter... that it's vital [to have an opinion] on why someone is gay, why someone is a pedophile,
why someone bites their tongue, why someone's vegan, why someone is more or less susceptible to this or that... and finally... most importantly...
where do I fit in... when I don't actually exist... in all of this. Because if I don't define myself within a mold of predetermined conditioning...
then I become everything I don't want to be... I become "that" instead of "me"... then those "others" don't exist... because they are just that too...
And the higher self doesn't want to be in that with them, even though it spends its whole life trying to nestle, fit in, and blend...
into the same thing... paradox... or just organized chaos...

What happens if someone spends a chunk of time doing the exact opposite of every single one of their beliefs, convictions, or efforts......
Can they eventually notice a cause-and-effect pattern? And does that pattern have anything to do with this so-called "karma"...?

If a certain situation actually played out and the host of the topic responded to it—on impulse...
by acting in a way or pattern that was "not themselves"... they'd probably get their answer to the question...
among the others that would arise from shifting the focus pattern [of self-perception... as the starting and ending point...
{"I'm starting to believe life is trying to screw me over"} the vibration of the universe]...

Or maybe it's all just an illusion anyway. Besides, what does any of that have to do with a porcupine?

darkcyclist92 said:On the contrary. In fact, I am quite interested to hear why you’ve reached such a bleak conclusion.

so maybe karma really does exist like someone else mentioned earlier, because if it does, the sign is clear that it wants to wreck me—essentially, no matter how hard I try, I am karmically destined for failure.

As far as I'm concerned, karma—or a recurring life pattern—definitely exists. For God's sake, the world would be mind-numbingly monotonous without it. In fact, I suspect existence itself couldn't function without it, otherwise everyone would lead identical lives or have total control over their destinies as 100% authors of their own stories.

But why on earth do you believe life is targeting you? While I agree that karma tends toward chaos, I don't buy that it goes so far as to completely destroy a person.

And honestly, I don't even know myself. All I know is that every single attempt I've made with a woman feels like some kind of battlefield. Every time I try dating anyone, I just have this sinking feeling that I'm going to get burned, and usually, that happens pretty quickly. But if you want the real details, I'd probably have to tell you that over DM rather than here...

ironrider11 said:"Love" from some "kind of woman"? 😵

Maybe you just have an androgynous look, so regardless of how reliable the test was, it was really just checking which gender you actually are.
Like... if you're packing heat... then you’ll react dominantly, give it right back, and keep that aggressive rhythm going...
But if you're rocking a little something else down there... you'll probably just recoil in confusion, totally lost...
Or maybe her mouth/tongue... tasted or smelled like someone's favorite fast food... so you were just hungry, pathetic, and plain old con-fused...
Or maybe it was some karmic thing meant to trigger your next big question or phobia...
specifically regarding "women who bite tongues"...

You pretty much covered it all for me. 🙂

darkcyclist92 said:Give me a break, you actually got off easy. I once found myself in a situation even more harrowing than yours, where I wasn't just bitten, but ended up getting pelted with rocks by a mob down by the lake. It’s a good thing I didn't take a dip in that water, because I likely would have been assaulted and drowned.😂

After everything I've dealt with regarding women lately, I’m starting to think the universe is just actively trying to screw me over for no reason. It feels like there's zero hope left. If you really want to know why I'm feeling this way, I can explain the whole thing in a DM, but honestly, maybe there really is such a thing as karma like someone mentioned earlier. If karma exists, it's clearly working overtime to ruin my life. It feels like no matter how hard I try, I'm just cosmically destined to fail...

It’s honestly pretty pathetic that you find this funny. Honestly, I’d love to see you swap places with me for a second... just to see how you’d actually react if some guy or girl—assuming you're into that—suddenly bit your tongue mid-sentence.

Gregory Jackson3 said:Here is a small piece of advice: why not just reach out via private message?

Is it really such a significant issue, or perhaps a matter of personal embarrassment?

Look, she actually told me that my hesitation made her want me even more, but honestly, that just sounds completely twisted to me. That's exactly why I walked away from her. If she’s already playing games like that, imagine what she'd be like if she started messing around with... well, everything else. She'd probably end up biting more than she can chew, and trust me, that wouldn't be nearly as pleasant as it looks on the surface. At the end of the day, I'd rather play it safe than end up regretting it later... 🙂

Now you can finally ponder what the poetess was actually trying to convey 😬

You clearly didn't get the full story here. We were all hanging out together as a group, and I didn't exactly have the luxury of hooking up with her since we were all piled into the same car, and we were only alone for maybe ten minutes before our friends showed up and drove us home. If our friends had walked in on us mid-act, that would’ve been an absolute disaster—that's the first thing. Second, we weren't wasted. She had one rum and coke, while I was just drinking a regular Coke. And what am I supposed to think about this girl if I'm too terrified to even speak? If I had gone through with it, I probably would've lost my junk, and then I'd just be some "brave hero" standing there without a dick. How can I trust a girl I don't even know, man? Honestly, I think my reaction to getting bitten was completely normal and justified. I reacted out of fear because she's a stranger to me and I have no idea what she was trying to communicate with that bite. That's exactly why I started this thread—so anyone could hear it and share their thoughts, preferably from people who don't just live life through their crotch?

So, a few days ago, I was hanging out with this girl at some lounge club, and we ended up chatting for a bit, walking around town, and eventually ended up sitting in a car while we waited for the rest of our friends to show up—including the driver, who was part of her group too. We were leaning against each other in the car, and honestly, I found her pretty attractive. I didn't rush into anything immediately, but after a few minutes, I went in for a kiss. That’s when things took a bizarre turn. She bit my tongue—and I mean, she bit it seriously hard. For a split second, I actually thought I might lose it, but luckily, it’s still attached. I don't think the bite was an accident; it felt intentional, which has left me kind of reeling because I have no clue what she was trying to communicate with that move. Right after it happened, I shut down completely—no more kissing, no more touching. Then, almost immediately, the rest of the crew rolled up and drove me home. How on earth am I supposed to interpret this? My gut feeling is that she was testing me somehow, but I was too caught off guard to realize it in the moment. What is a bite like that supposed to signify? Was it a threat? A defense mechanism? Or just some twisted, sadistic way of expressing affection?
I honestly believe this project is going to be a hit even if I don't bother explaining just how pathetic most modern dating is. Most of what people call "relationships" nowadays aren't even close; they're just these lonely, washed-out attempts at finding a girlfriend that end up being a total disaster... If I ever actually manage to pull off a successful relationship with a woman, I’ll probably end up becoming a psychologist myself—or if I don't, I'll definitely be the most talented one in the city.🙂

Lawrence Bailey77 said:That thought crosses my mind quite often, I suppose, though my brain usually derails immediately. I start thinking about how athletes seem to hold some sort of privileged status in society, which then inevitably leads to those cynical comments about how for every one successful pro athlete, there are a hundred more just struggling to make ends meet.😍

For the intellectually innocent among us: consider the ratio of failures to good sex.😁

Goodness... I can feel my sense of humor slowly returning. Thank you for listening. I think I’ll head out while I’m still riding this brief wave of positive vibes.😁

And regarding what you said... 🙂
Is physical reality just an illusion? in Spirituality ·
Dana Brooks3 said:It doesn't have anything to do with believing in God. It doesn't necessarily require it.

The idea refers to the illusion created by an undifferentiated or unliberated consciousness—basically, an individual consciousness that fails to distinguish itself from the various organs used to perceive the world. Consequently, it doesn't distinguish itself from the world that it constructs through its own mental preconceptions.
Consciousness without an "observer," a watcher, or a witness...
In that sense, the "I" is illusory because it fails to differentiate the Self from the surrounding world, merging them instead—but that world lacks such ownership and is, therefore, perceived rather than absolute.

I'm not sure how to explain it better. This isn't about "separating the material from the immaterial," but rather about differentiation within consciousness itself.

Of course, the assumption that we can recognize, experience, and process the world around us is neurophysiological at its foundation.
Now, the actual path of that processing—how much we are able to distance ourselves from negative, incorrect, or, in this context, illusory identifications and projections—is a different question entirely... as is how we categorize and name it all, whether the model is atheistic or theistic...

Haha, damn it, I haven't understood a single thing here! It's just like me saying I've never been into any spiritual talk, so I can barely wrap my head around it, but there's my two cents...🙂

how does the brain influence astrology😕
this is just one example☕

To be completely honest, I’ve never actually studied astrology and I have no clue what's really going on behind the scenes. Can you break down what astrology is actually trying to explain? I know it’s supposedly linked to personality traits and predicting the future, but that whole concept has always felt totally out of reach for me. Especially when I see people online showing off their birth charts and then telling others about their destiny based on star alignments—it’s never made sense to me how that’s even possible. I assume there might be some connection to the Law of attraction? I honestly don't know, the whole thing just feels beyond my comprehension.
