Yeah, honestly, if you look back at the atmosphere—it’s like, totally different from how things feel now. About ten years ago, or even the few years right before you guys hit that slump, the energy was just on another level compared to today. It wasn't even about the numbers, really, more about how loud and alive the crowd felt. Even the Torca fans were singing way more passionately back then. I'm not talking about stats here, just the sheer volume and soul of it. And let’s be real, your repertoire feels pretty thin these days, doesn't it?

Anthony Jackson2 said:Look, I just scrolled through the last 20 pages of the unnamed section—including the window during the game itself—and I didn't see any of those bloodthirsty users you’re talking about. There were a few posts that needed deleting, mostly just people losing their cool right before or after the game, plus some slightly blunt replies to trolls that ended up getting sanctioned.

I honestly don't get why your opening post is being so apocalyptic; at the end of the day, from what I can tell, you haven't even reported a single post in the unnamed section over the last few days.

The unnamed topic really belongs more in the Sports Fans sub-forum than in the US Soccer section, but the moderation team feels the thread is way too valuable to the community, so they tolerate a more open style of writing that you usually only see over in the Sports Fans area.

As for the US Soccer moderators in general—if we actually stuck strictly to the rulebook, your own trolling would have landed you in permanent ban territory ages ago, so that part of your argument about users getting "cards for a smiley face" doesn't really hold water.

Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to sweep your own porch first—as my old man used to say—before you start pointing fingers at everyone else. Besides, there's a specific thread for appealing bans, so just follow the Reddit rules you're complaining about and state your case there.

There's no point in trying to spin this because it's the truth; I got flagged for using emojis, yet then you see the exact same people posting them constantly without a single word of context.

If we actually played by the rules, hardly anyone would be posting anything—that's just a fact.

I didn't report anything? Please. I've reported about 20 posts in the last two months, and instead of any real consequences, things just kept escalating—insults, off-topic rambling, and pure trolling.

Sure, now it belongs to the Sports Fans section, 🙏 so I guess that means it's perfectly fine for some people to engage in constant insults, LIES, persecution, slander, and trolling, while others aren't allowed to (and I'm definitely not the only one feeling this way).

It's precisely because you guys won't address criticisms or appeals that I started this thread; I can see that nothing is changing. You're spreading falsehoods, and here are the links to prove it—and since you're using comments from before the big game as an excuse, that's a pretty weak alibi; I see that someone was banned along with unnamed, which is just pathetic, coming from him/her.

And then there's this special pair...

Look, I don't just go around dropping posts like this out of nowhere—I only ever get provoked into it, and honestly, if I did, I’d probably just end up getting banned constantly anyway. So, to all you little cultists out there... yeah, right, keep dreaming, I'm coming at you full force with a valid driver's license.

Look, if you start acting up or getting all aggressive with the replies, the mods are just going to hit you with a ban and you can kiss the whole thing goodbye
Why is there no moderation? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
The vibe in the US Soccer section and specifically over at the unnamed corner of this Reddit thread is just... it’s unbearable. Honestly. The moderators are showing some serious bias—it feels completely unfair—but what really stings is that when you look toward the higher-ups or the "management," there's just total silence. It’s like they don't even care, which basically gives the mods a free pass to act however they want.

For anyone who hasn't been keeping up, just look at the comment counts today during and after the big rivalry game in the unnamed corner. That should tell you everything you need to know.

It’s gotten to the point where some people are actually afraid to even post a smiley face because they might get slapped with a ban for "trolling." Can you believe that?

It’s like this little cultish clique of Chicago Blackhawks fans and Los Angeles Dodgers supporters just runs the show, doing whatever they want without any oversight whatsoever.

It’s honestly pathetic and embarrassing.

Paul Anderson7 said:I’m pretty sure Francis Ngannou takes this one. Look, Daniel Cormier is an absolute legend in the cage, but he’s totally sleeping on this guy—and honestly, it only takes one clean shot from Francis to end the night. I’m also really curious to see what happens if they hit the floor; Francis is such a physical beast that Daniel might find it pretty tough to actually set up anything meaningful in the grappling department.

Look, I get it—everyone sees Daniel Cormier as the favorite here. But let's be real, he isn't walking into this fight at 100% capacity. And then there's Francis Ngannou... let's just say the guy is never quite at 100% either. 😬

Out of everyone currently fighting in the UFC, if I could grab a drink and just sit down for a long, deep conversation, Francis Ngannou would be my first choice. No question.

If you want to make some real money, put it all on Francis Ngannou. You’ll definitely enjoy the payoff.

William Williams21 said:Maybe S.M. is actually standing in for Slobodan Mufic? If that’s the case, it kind of clicks... I mean, you can't really go by a name like that if you're trying to represent people who are out there fighting with nothing but pure, unadulterated stubbornness...
I'll reach out to my buddies over at the sports desk to see if we can dig up some info on this guy.😉

It's probably Stjepan Mati. This guy shows up in maybe every fifth article or column—and honestly, I've been pretty easy on him myself, just letting things slide without making a huge deal out of it—but even then, he makes these little mistakes, not just grammar stuff, but just general errors that get under your skin after a while, you know? But whatever.

Unknown. Talking about the S&P is easy enough—honestly, it’s a conversation happening constantly over on the sports subforum anyway. But there's this moderator who hasn't even been called out by name here, yet what they’re doing—and how they’re handling their "responsibilities"—is just plain embarrassing. And yeah, I am 100% with Wayne on this one; the rules don't seem to apply to everyone equally. It feels like some people can post whatever they want, whenever they want, while others aren't even allowed to utter a single word.

Jonathan Barnes5 said:Why would I think they're talking nonsense? We’re talking about probably the most decent group in the whole country—the ones who barely even post anything online, yet have proven themselves time and again as an incredibly loyal core whenever things get heated. It’s honestly tough being a die-hard fan in a small town, especially in a place like Akron where everyone knows exactly who you are.

I don't think he's full of it, but I'm just as convinced that you guys aren't actually on such friendly, semi-formal terms with most other groups—to the point where you end up getting disrespected even in your own backyard.

feralwolf51 said:What kind of "control" did they actually take? You had maybe 50 of them at some downtown bar, completely surrounded by riot police. They were acting all tough last night—picking on random kids or just anyone walking by—but honestly, they only dared to move in groups of two or three, sometimes even solo, just because they were scared of being spotted.

Hahaha, "acting tough"? Please. There aren't even a hundred of you guys total. Seriously, if you actually tried anything, a local branch of the Bad Boys would have shut you down before you could even blink.

lonegardener8 said:I mean, who could actually satisfy you guys? You count the trophies—of course you do. You haven’t stopped counting them just because you weren't at Normandy in '44 or wherever else. You celebrate the goals. So why turn around and lecture us for doing the exact same thing? Look, no matter how much the mafia might be running our club, it’s still *ours*. We didn't hand it over to the mob on a silver platter. The name Dinamo still carries weight for us—if it didn't, we wouldn't be shouting "Dinamo is sacred" in the stands. Just because the mob is steering the ship doesn't mean we don't feel anything for the club. Sure, Mamić and his whole crew disgust me—including most of the players who are basically carbon copies of him—but what am I supposed to do, stop rooting for my own team? You guys love to defend the very things you allow yourselves to do. It’s like how people complain about Mexico while being totally fine with certain regional politics back home; everyone wants to cry foul when it's someone else's business, but nobody wants to look in the mirror at their own mess. And let's be real, Hajduk isn't where they are because of Dinamo or Mamić; it’s because Miami is a much smaller city with way less cash, and that's just how it stays. All of you claiming to be die-hard Hajduk fans without actually putting any money behind it? That's the reality. Honestly, once Mamić and the mafia are finally out of the picture, you'll have even less chance at winning titles. Why? Because when decent people take over and funnel all that money into the youth academy and scouting top talent instead of lining the pockets of thieves, Dinamo is going to be even more dominant. So, it’s not actually about the mafia or Mamić in the way you think. Dinamo isn't strong because of them; it's strong because they have the money—and they have significantly more than almost anyone else. At the end of the day, this sport revolves around cash. No matter how much you talk about "love for the game," everyone plays for the paycheck. There isn't a single club in the world where people would turn down millions of dollars. Fairy tales are for kids, not adults.

I’m a big fan of ideals myself, really, and money isn't everything, but let's be practical: this sport is driven by money, not by someone's lofty preferences for "love and honor." If that were true, then Hajduk and a whole bunch of other third-rate European clubs would be fighting for the Champions League title every single year. I get what you're trying to say, and frankly, I don't care if Dinamo wins the Champions League or not, but money is the bottom line, regardless of the sentimentality. And since the money is always with us and never with you, you're left with nothing but that old excuse of "it's not all about the money..." 😁

Look, I’m not part of any group or cult. I’m speaking for myself here. I’m not tallying up trophies, nor am I pretending to have some enlightened, mature perspective. If you can honestly claim to be a fan of a club run by the mob, then hey, mad respect to you.

Henry Hayes4 said:Look, just stop whining for a second. Even if we absolutely despise the current front office and aren't exactly jumping for joy over the roster, that doesn't mean we don't love the Cleveland Cavaliers. And it definitely doesn't mean we suddenly have love for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It works that way. If we aren't exactly cheering when the Cavs score, fine—then we can at least enjoy seeing the Buccaneers concede a goal. Dammit, the whole situation is schizophrenic, and if you don't get that, just try to tap into what you feel when the national team plays. If you hate the USSF and can't stand the players, it doesn't mean you don't love America. For example, if we were playing against Austria tomorrow, you’d be incredibly invested—but if we were playing Mexico, would you actually be celebrating their goals?
It's all part of the fan culture, much like the old debates about American versus Yugoslav clubs. But the reality is...:-)

Oh sure, and I guess I'm also a huge fan of Mexico, the Czech Republic, Spain, Israel, Cameroon, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, Portugal, Mexico, Finland, Iceland, and all the rest. For crying out loud, look—at the end of the day, your heart makes the decisions, that's true, but that comparison to loving America is a total miss. You can't claim to be happy about the goals scored by some mafia-run club and then turn around later to celebrate their titles or deal with them being part of the league structure.

I used to go all the time from maybe 2004 until 2011—I can't remember the exact years—but the last game I actually sat through was against Anderlecht at the stadium during one of those absolute monsoon downpours.
Back then, I made this solemn vow to myself... I told myself I wouldn't step foot back in a stadium until my mortgage was completely paid off. Well, it's been over six years now and I haven't set foot in a stadium once, and honestly? I probably won't anytime soon.

But you still brag about the trophy and cheer because "your" club is sitting ahead of the Kmečavacs in the standings, right?

GO AHEAD, BRAG. Can we even call you guys fans? Even if you aren't on the payroll, you act like you are. You're just pathetic little sellouts.

Just a few thoughts here:
You two are kind of pushing this narrative about how much we hate Real Madrid—as if there’s some deep-seated grudge against everything American that the club represents. It's honestly pretty gross. You're trying to spin this tale where everyone from the South just hates everything coming out of Washington, D.C., but—get this—that’s exactly the kind of propaganda the old regime used to push right after the war ended.

As for that "hate Real Madrid" song... do you honestly think anyone would be singing that if there wasn't a massive derby scheduled for a few days later?
And look, let me be straight with you—yeah, I hate Real Madrid. I hate them because ever since I started going to matches, they've been the ultimate "golden child" club. They're the ones who steal, they plunder, and they stand as a symbol for everything that's rotten in our soccer scene. Every time I see that little 'R' logo, I just see the faces of those corrupt owners and shady characters who ran things.
That's why I hate them. Not because they represent any national identity. Because, unfortunately, they don't represent that anymore. Instead, they've become a symbol of greed, theft, and pure criminality—basically a fake patriot turned war profiteer. That's why, quite frankly, I sing those chants.
Call it a complex if you want; I really don't care.
Truthfully, I'd love for you guys to get your Real Madrid back as soon as possible. I'd love to see your stands packed again. I don't hate the capital of my own country. It's not like I could—or would—ever hate any city in my own nation.
But you have to understand, being 34 years old, I've never actually seen the *great* Real Madrid. Since I've been following the game, whether it's the national team or the club, it's sadly always been a symbol of misery. And you guys have been fighting against that misery from the nineties all the way until today.
Whether you celebrate goals or not is entirely up to you. The way you fight to reclaim your club is your business. Anyone who knows even a tiny bit about what's happening down there understands that you haven't sold out to the owners just because you celebrate a goal. But, you have to admit, it makes for great fodder for forum trolling, for those who care about that sort of thing.

👏😵👍

wanderingcrane82 said:Listen, you bunch of trolls and losers—you’d honestly be happiest if they just shut us down entirely, wouldn't you? But nope, things aren't going according to your little script... those kids you're all busy mocking while they celebrate their goals? They’re going to be a thorn in your side for a long, long time. Just keep fighting for your version of Hajduk, but leave our struggle—the kind of passion you'll never actually understand—to us. You guys are just a joke—all talk and no substance...

No, look, people actually respected you before—it wasn't all this constant mockery back when you were on the right side of things. Sure, sure, there are plenty of big shots acting entitled in the stands, but why on earth are you even rooting for a club like this? I mean, seriously, why did everyone suddenly decide to start supporting them out of nowhere? What happened? Where's the explanation? WTF?
Bad Boys in Fans ·
Seriously though, you guys are out here celebrating goals and cheering for Mamićev's whole operation—how can you even defend those kids? It’s wild to me. You're basically rooting for a club run by the mob.
