Drew Ross2 said:Good afternoon—I’ve officially decided to join this madhouse. 😳
Look, those pills aren't going to do much for you if you don't actually put in the work yourself. ☕
Linda Young38 said:I'll join the fray as well.
Honestly, just bring in the crowd from the Game of Thrones chat and we'll officially have the most unhinged group of psychos on the internet.
Drew Ross2 said:so now I'm the one lying—yet you're still demanding an apology just because I shared some specifics in a private message 😁
get your story straight before you bother reaching out again 😁
There is absolutely no point in continuing this.
Ignore
Drew Ross2 said:this situation escalated at lightning speed 😁
take a moment to actually look up the definition of compromise—if my apology constitutes my portion of the deal, then what exactly are you bringing to the table? 😳
An apology? Please. Spare me the empty gestures. And let’s not even get started on the blatant lies regarding the Project Manager.
Maria Johnson said:but I hope you voted because you actually enjoy the food—not for some other motive.
Well, obviously it's because I like the food—what other reason could there possibly be? ☕
And I appreciate that you know how to whip up a decent Southern BBQ.
Maria Johnson said:disclaimer*
Apologies are essentially worthless—utterly performative—if they aren't actually accepted.☕
And now you’re trying to make me feel guilty because I voted for you during the Food Network awards? Honestly... thanks, really.👍
Drew Ross2 said:I honestly think you’re being overly sensitive—I haven't leaked a single thing from our private messages, aside from mentioning that we actually spoke privately—and frankly, I have no recollection of ever mocking you.🤔
But fine—since Richard Sanders7 is refusing to offer an apology, feel free to settle for his instead.👋
😁
Since it's become clear that any attempt at finding middle ground with you is a total lost cause, I’m going to ignore you indefinitely—and I expect the same courtesy in return, at least regarding quotes. Thanks.
Drew Ross2 said:I suppose you should actually be the one asking me for forgiveness🙂
The sheer audacity—you’re begging Richard Sanders7 for forgiveness over some damn survey, yet you can't even bring yourself to apologize to me for leaking my private messages and mocking me (which, let's face it, you always do with that condescending smirk)
My only "sin"—if we have to call it that—was telling you that you're boring, and I fail to see how that constitutes a grievance worth this much drama.
Drew Ross2, am I not even worth asking for forgiveness? 🤦
It has been six months since I became eligible to submit an appeal regarding my partial ban on the "Coffee & Networking" subforum. During this interval, I have maintained an impeccable record and have remained a completely non-disruptive member of this community.
I have utilized this significant amount of time to reflect deeply on my previous lapses in judgment—and I have reached the firm conclusion that I am prepared to conduct myself with much greater decorum moving forward.
I trust that my request for reinstatement will be viewed favorably.
I find myself somewhat preoccupied by certain tenets of medieval asceticism practiced by women.
I have a few grievances regarding the moderator ball. I find myself being issued warnings with alarming frequency, and frankly, it feels less like rule enforcement and more like a personal vendetta—especially since the other moderator on this subreddit never seems to target me. While we are on the subject of bias, it’s quite obvious that ball maintains a little circle of favorites among the users here; they shower them with public praise while simultaneously targeting anyone who doesn't fall into their inner circle. My most recent warning for trolling, specifically for accumulating 35 points, felt incredibly calculated—exactly enough to push me right to the edge of a permanent ban.
What truly irritates me about this moderator is her blatant double standards in both moderation and general interaction. There is a clear antagonism toward my political views—it honestly feels as though she would prefer to outlaw every political party in the country except for the Democratic Party. Furthermore, her habit of directing petty provocations my way, only to hide behind the "it was just sarcasm" excuse later, is exhausting. She works in education, which unfortunately makes her a prime example of that specific, insidious type of teacher who takes personal slights too far.
I am formally requesting that ball be removed from her moderator position on this subreddit. If she remains, I will be boycotting this community indefinitely; I simply have no intention of tolerating such hypocrisy any longer.
