I mean, if only it weren't 🙂

Is this the same EU that welcomed them in? Don't hold your breath...

If someone wants to do something, they should just say it—maybe they're crazy, but even RTE doesn't have half the guts these people show. 🙏

Any nation where a political party membership card carries more weight than a university degree is, by definition, a dictatorship—and the North America are essentially a breeding ground for these oppressive regimes. Take Turkey, for instance; you won't find a more blatant autocracy. Of course, periodic outbursts of authoritarianism can be spotted throughout the European Union as well—look at how Spain suppresses the Catalans and denies them their right to independence, or similar situations in Northern Ireland, and so on. "Dictatorship" is such an incredibly broad term that discussing it as a singular concept isn't even worth the breath. Cheers!

Maybe if they sent the Italians instead of the French, we'd see some actual movement.

Word on the street is Turkey is just out there drilling for gas and oil near Cyprus and nobody's even saying a word about it.

It isn't just talk—it's the reality on the ground. The Greeks made quite a fuss at first, but they seem to have gone quiet lately, haven't they?
