So, we have the 22-year-old, the couple (one lost wife and a potential troublemaker), plus one more person.
I guess we'll finally learn about her through your travel photos 🍿.
Both us and the people who follow the forum—connecting your pictures to your posts...

LESS IS MORE SHHHHH.
Richard Brown7 said:Honestly, I don't think that's possible. Maybe in La La Land.

I'm on the same page.
I'm starting to suspect there’s been something going on between those two all along—like I just completely missed the signs.

If someone does that, can you even call them a friend anymore, or are they just some jerk?

There's this coworker of mine, she's about 32, and she's been dropping hints about being my mistress, which is awkward enough because her husband works right alongside me.
The thought hasn't even crossed my mind to go there, mainly because the guy is a colleague and a genuine friend.
I suppose some people would jump at the chance, but isn't that just what low-life, disrespectful people do?

Is that actually a matter of honor—or are you just not feeling enough tension?
Noah Moore61 said:Well, that’s usually how life works, isn't it? You meet someone new, and you eventually realize—mostly because we can be pretty slow on the uptake sometimes—that things are actually much better this way. No more holding onto bitterness, anger, or old grudges... because love is supposed to be good. Just let Peter go, give my friend a break,
and move on with a clear conscience.

So, what—you think the friendship can stay exactly the same size?

We'd be sitting at a Starbucks together, chatting about the physical side of their relationship.
The part I actually experienced with him...🤔

Hmm...

She’d head home with her blessing, but there wouldn't be any "blessing" left in our friendship.
Not that I’d hold it against her—it would just feel wrong. It would feel unnatural.

Quercus said:Honestly, the only guy I know who actually ended a friendship over something like this was some dude who dumped his girl after cheating on her—which he did to every girl he ever dated. Fast forward a year or so, and when his buddy told him he was now seeing her, he absolutely lost it. What can you say?

Pure male territorialism.
William Thompson10 said:Honestly, I don't really see the issue here. Just because I’m not okay with it doesn't mean they can't be. I shouldn't have to act as some kind of moral gatekeeper for their lives.
Of course, seeing something like that would definitely shake me up a bit, especially since we were together not too long ago, but I refuse to let emotions cloud my judgment or dictate how I process things.

BOLD: Exactly.
That's how level-headed, rational people look at things.

The only real issue would be if the breakup was still super recent.
I'd still have my eyes on my 😁ex.

But honestly, I wonder when that feeling will finally fade.🤔

Sam Jones8 said:So, let’s say you finally meet up in person with someone from an online forum—someone you actually care about a lot. Can you even imagine just jumping in for a hug the second you see them? Like, what if the vibes just click instantly and—bam—you’re hugging? 😁
But realistically, isn't that person still basically a stranger to you at that exact moment?

Personally, I can totally picture it happening. 🤷

Though, knowing me, I’d probably just stick to a handshake.

That really depends on who we're talking about.
If you’ve been chatting with another woman on here and the vibe is genuinely good—like, we’ve actually hit it off—then why wouldn't you just go for a Hug Day? No reason not to.
If the forum user is...
Huh, I don't know...
It feels a little silly to me—shaking hands with people I already have a decent relationship with.
It feels like we just walked into a corporate board meeting. 🤷.

I’d just play it by ear—no need to overthink things or prep everything in advance.
I guess you can see the hype for what it is—and exactly where a person stands in relation to it.

ruggedmaker32 said:Regarding the topic, I have to admit I’m not really much of a hugger in general... but, when it comes to the one who is my everything😍, I am the complete opposite. Physical touch is so high on my list... honestly, I don't think I'd ever want to leave his embrace🙂

Yeah, true enough.
It's done. 😍.

Honestly, you could probably just walk there faster than driving 😁, it's only about three hundred meters downhill.

But hey, I guess it wasn't on her usual route 🐔.
She insists on taking the uphill path.

Noah Perez5 said:I can't seem to find any information anywhere regarding whether he's actually going into self-isolation?

It seems to me that he’s appearing before the news cameras quite polished, yet notably without any protective gear.

What is the actual implication here? Does this suggest that he hasn't been at the office or in close contact with his staff for the past two weeks?

Or am I missing something else entirely?

I suppose the mere fact that he clearly isn't fulfilling his professional duties should be enough reason to hand him a pink slip immediately, though there might even be grounds for criminal prosecution if this situation continues to escalate.

My main concern here is the doctor. Did she actually give him a heads-up about the fever? And if so—when exactly did that happen?
She reached out to the epidemiologists—which, let's be honest, was a total long shot since nobody was answering their phones during the height of the pandemic—so she probably just figured: Well, at least I tried!
I don't know exactly how far this nursing home is from the Public Health Department—but honestly? I'd jump in a car and tear it up there right now if I could!
