Honestly, it’s not even weird that your libido has totally vanished; if anything, you should be relieved that those are your "only" side effects.
I mean, look at me—when I was on antidepressants, my testosterone levels tanked so hard I felt like a twelve-year-old girl, which is wild considering my baseline is naturally through the roof.

The truth is, you're eating and drinking because there's this massive void inside you that you're trying to plug with drugs (like Paxil), junk food, and booze, but it just isn't working, right? Can't you see that nothing is filling that hole?
Of course, you probably wouldn't even be able to hold down a job or deal with people day-to-day if you weren't doing all this, so I'm really not going to sit here and lecture you on how to live your life.
It's your life, and it's your call.
As for me, I made the choice a long time ago to never be beholden to anyone or anything—even if it means feeling absolutely miserable every single day (and trust me, that's exactly how I feel right now).
I don't really have some profound piece of wisdom to drop on you, but I just had to say—huge respect, man. I honestly didn't think friendships like yours even existed anymore.
The fact that someone can actually give a damn about another person like that, without even being family, just goes to show how much heart people still have. Seriously, props to you.
I'll be real with you, though... I've never actually had a friend like that in my life.

Swap "forum" for "the internet."
Honestly, like 90% of people out there are totally hooked on mindless scrolling through the internet.
It starts at such a young age too—these days, it’s just way too easy to toss a tablet to a toddler just to keep them quiet.
I guess every generation just comes with its own set of struggles, right?

I'm right there with you, maybe she just isn't in a place where she can actually accept help right now.
Plus, trying to get things back on track at 35 is definitely a whole different ballgame than doing it when you're 20, isn't it?

It’s not just for people dealing with serious mental illness who go see a psychologist. You also have to understand there's a huge difference between seeing a psychologist versus a psychiatrist.

That sounds great on paper.
But honestly? In the real world, most people just walk out of the office feeling $100 even more drained than before, and they end up just taking the same advice I could give them for free anyway.
But hey, I guess we're totally veering off topic here, right?

Honestly, all that jealousy? It really just boils down to pure insecurity.
I mean, look, you don't actually "own" him; he’s a free agent who can choose to cheat whenever he wants, plain and simple.
Once you finally stop playing out these wild, imaginary scenarios in your head and just start living in the moment, things are going to feel so much better, I promise.
Just trust him—seriously, until he actually gives you a real reason to stop trusting him, why sweat it?
That self-inflicted anxiety is way easier to shake off than people make it out to be...

And honestly, you don't even need some fancy "professional help" or anything, because jealousy isn't some clinical mental illness—it's just a lack of confidence and a bit of weakness.

Do you have much of an appetite for sex? When was the last time you were actually in a relationship?

I'm in my twenties, and honestly, my libido is usually through the roof, but it's basically non-existent right now because I've been dealing with some pretty rough anxiety lately... though I am in a relationship at the moment.

I honestly don't even know where to start with this whole situation, but man, it feels like we’ve all been sitting around waiting for someone to finally say what everyone is actually thinking, right? It’s one of those things where you look at the way everything is moving lately and you just have to wonder if anyone in charge is actually paying attention or if they're all just staring at their phones while the rest of us try to make sense of it all! I mean, seriously, does anyone else feel that weird tension in the air lately, or am I just being totally extra? It feels like every time I turn on the news or scroll through my feed, there's some new drama or some massive shift happening that nobody seems prepared for, and honestly, it's exhausting! I was talking to Tyler Kim about it the other day—you know how he gets when he starts spiraling about these things—and he was saying the exact same thing, that it feels like we're all just drifting without a compass sometimes. But hey, maybe that's just life in America these days, isn't it? Just constant movement and zero direction? I'd love to hear what you guys think, because I feel like I'm losing my mind a little bit over here! kaže:
Honestly, you can’t really fight against your own brain chemistry, right? It’s like, what are you even supposed to do? You can try to tweak things here or there, but at the end of the day, maybe the only way to actually change anything is to find some other way to mess with the chemical balance that's already running the show. It's a wild thought, isn't it?🤔
Honestly, I’m right there with you on that one... looking back maybe five years ago, I think I still actually held onto this tiny bit of hope, you know? Like, I really believed things would eventually just click into place and everything would turn out okay for me.
Honestly, I’m starting to feel like there's just no saving me at this point. Like, is anyone even out there? I really think I've hit a wall where nothing is going to work anymore!
I swear, God must have given me this incredible physical health just to spite me, because at this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if I end up living as long as Josip Manolic despite being such a total mess and having zero luck in life!

Carl Cox3 said:You have far too much idle time on your hands. Why not occupy yourself with more meaningful pursuits? Focus on your career, socializing, or going out...

Look, I’m actually working right now, and honestly, grinding all day isn't exactly doing wonders for my mental health.
It’s totally draining me, but hey, I’ve gotta pay the bills, right?
And as for the whole "hanging out" thing—I'm just not really a people person; I'm probably one of the biggest introverts you'll ever meet.
Don't get me wrong, I don't have any trouble communicating or speaking my mind; my anxiety isn't even social anxiety. I work in a client-facing industry, but I basically just go through the motions like a robot.
EDIT: Okay, maybe saying I "don't like people" was a bit dramatic... it's more like I just don't find them particularly interesting.

Honestly, I don't think I have a "middle ground" in my DNA; whether it’s something good or something bad, I just don't know how to do things halfway—everything has to be extreme.
Like, if I decide to grab a beer, I’m not just having one; I’m basically finishing off a whole six-pack.
And if I start smoking, it’s never just one pack a day, it’s somehow always three.
And man, the list goes on and on.
I’ve spent so much of my life chasing highs or getting hooked on stuff: gambling, booze, porn, nicotine, gaming... even fitness. I had this massive phase where I was hitting the gym for four hours every single day; everything in my body would be screaming in pain because I wasn't giving myself time to recover, but I’d feel like absolute garbage if I actually skipped a session.
It feels like I’ve spent my entire existence searching for something to fill this void inside me, and while I usually find something that works, it’s always just temporary before the cycle starts all over again with some new kind of madness.
I guess I'll end on this note: I’ve managed to kick most of those addictions, or at least dial them back significantly... they're still part of who I am, but they're dormant right now.
But I already know that if I light up just one cigarette tomorrow, by the day after, I'll be tearing through two packs.
That "all or nothing" streak in my personality is actually the main reason I've never touched drugs... even though I've been battling anxiety and depression for years.

Honestly? This might be the best thing Netflix has ever put out. Seriously, in a sea of absolute garbage they usually pump out, this one is such a massive hidden gem.

It’s top-tier, but man, it is an intense psychological thriller.
If you were obsessed with Alcatraz, you absolutely have to check this out. Highly recommended.
