Man, if life were actually that simple, right? Wouldn't that be great? But let's be real—most people just use others as emotional dumping grounds. They aren't looking for logic. You can throw the most perfectly rational solution at them, but they won't take it because they're too busy spinning in circles, trapped in their own emotional whirlpools. It's exhausting. There are times when I genuinely want to listen and be there for someone, I really do. But then there are those moments where you realize they don't actually want to fix anything. They just want to offload their stress onto you so they can feel lighter and go right back to their old, broken habits. Why bother?

Is it really asking too much to expect people to actually handle their own business without dumping everything on everyone else unless it’s an absolute emergency? Don't get me wrong, I don't mind if someone close to me gives me a heads-up about what's going on or what's eating at them. But when it becomes this supposed "standard" for conversation—when it turns into this repetitive mantra that they just *have* to unload on you constantly? Once that becomes the established pattern of how they communicate, that's when I start pulling away.
