My dad's retired, but that probably won't change much when it comes to the rule forcing every Family Farm listed in the Business Registry to pay membership fees. This isn't some new rumor either; it’s an official decision passed by Congress and the administration a few years back. They've made it clear: if the previous year's dues aren't settled by December 15th, they'll just use forced collection methods to get it. As for what being "registered" actually means in the registry, it covers every member or...

Thanks, Kate Chase59! The old guy just keeps three or four acres of land from being overtaken by weeds; it’s not about the money. You can't make a profit on such tiny plots given what raw materials cost for the crops he grows—mostly corn, oats, and potatoes. He just gets a few government subsidies and the ability to buy off-road diesel.

My dad runs a family farm. Since he doesn't have an email address, I gave them mine. I just got this notification: any family farms registered in the Family Farm Registry are required to be members of the Chamber, which means paying membership fees.
Are all family farms automatically listed in that registry, and how can I check? Also, am I actually on the hook for this fee?

Storage facilities aren't a substitute for established pipeline supply routes. By design, storage is meant to smooth out peak demand periods. If we hit a brutal winter, those reserves could be drained in a month. While storage can provide high hourly volumes initially, that delivery rate drops off fast once you've tapped into about a third of the nominal capacity.

My laptop gets stuck on the Dell logo. It won't even attempt to boot.

When I move the hard drive to a different laptop (a Toshiba), Windows 10 boots up just fine. Similarly, if I put the hard drive from the Toshiba into the Dell, Windows 7 loads without any issues.
I'm officially out of ideas.

Just wanted to share a little win: I finally got scheduled for an abdominal ultrasound (dealing with some gallbladder issues and polyps). My appointment is set for September 4th, 2018.
Mouse cursor keeps drifting in IT Support ·
My mouse cursor keeps jumping all over the place. It’ll be at the top of the screen and then suddenly snap to the bottom. There’s no pattern to when or where it happens, but it’s getting pretty annoying. This happened back on Windows XP and it’s still happening now on Windows 7, even after I wiped my C drive and did a fresh install. Could this be a virus or something else entirely? I'm running some free antivirus software right now.
