Bet some "engineer" just really needed a few extra bucks. 😁

I wonder if that guy is one of those doctors or engineers she was talking about

Looks like they took over the airfield. Heading toward Berdyansk now.

I mean, he’s gonna get crushed by his own people. Most folks there are just scraping by on maybe $1,600 a month, and now they aren't seeing any relief. Like, if gas hits $5 a gallon—which is basically mandatory since you can't get around without a car in most parts of the US—they're just stuck.

Are the police clearing out in Lviv??
Wait, isn't that near the Polish border? I thought everything was supposed to be chill and accessible over there.

I guess Russians and some Ukrainian National Guard guys are guarding Chernobyl together now... maybe.😵

It’s pointless if the Americans don't want it, since how would they pay for all that massive amounts of oil they import?
I guess Biden is just scared gas prices will skyrocket.

Keith Williams3 said:All those cultural achievements and successes you mentioned happened when Russia was at its peak, back when they actually had a strong state and total control over their own territory.

Think about Dostoevsky, Tchaikovsky, Tolstoy, Mendeleev—those legends came from the height of the Russian Empire.

The industrial boom, the first satellite, the first man in space, being one of the two global superpowers... that was all during the peak of the USSR.

But what did Russia actually produce in the 1990s, aside from exporting cheap labor, scientists, and raw resources?

If Russia wants to share its culture and wealth with the world again, it needs to be secure and powerful, just like it was under the Russian Empire or the USSR.

That’s the version of Russia that Putin, many Russians, and even most people outside the country who support them actually want to see. Nobody is out here rooting for the 1990s version of Russia—a country that couldn't govern itself and felt totally insecure.

I guess that's why there aren't really any protests against Putin.
Once he takes over Ukraine, people will probably be celebrating him like he's some kind of hero.

I’ve already dropped a bunch of videos showing how they're pushing forward on just about every front, but you know how it is—these folks brainwashed by Western propaganda are still sitting there convinced that Russia has lost 100,000 men and 2,000 tanks. They're living in a totally different reality.

I saw a few clips about the fighting near Lviv too.
If they actually made it that far, then I guess the Ukrainians might have been exaggerating a bit.

Russian forces are making quick moves in Zaporizhzhia

Man, I guess it doesn't really matter who you believe anymore

Chechens in Kyiv. I guess those Ukrainians should've held their ground at the base in Gustumel... maybe.

I mean, you're basically reading the same stuff from Western or Ukrainian outlets anyway. It's all just breaking news without any actual proof. Just that random breaking news stuff you see on Twitter.

If Kyiv holds, then everything we've discussed stands.

If Kyiv falls, then it looks like this:

I mean, honestly... I guess it would be pretty wild if the Russians just marched into a city without completely surrounding it first. Maybe. 12 miles Just going in circles, I guess.
Anything else would just be suicide. I mean, Kyiv isn't exactly a small town like some suburb out in the Midwest.

People are always talking about shooting down Russian planes but I haven't seen any actual footage. According to Twitter, Ukrainians have already taken out half their air force.
Is anything even flying on the Ukrainian side over there?
Maybe they don't have any planes left at all.

Justin Kern67 said:Exactly. Back when things were happening in Syria, you’d see dozens of clips every single day. It felt like you were watching the war unfold in real-time. Here, it’s just the same handful of photos and a few videos being cycled constantly, along with some blatant fakes.

Exactly, it's wild
I guess I just look at all the hysteria in the West. Seems like the more they freak out, the better it goes for the Russians
Kind of like what happened in Syria

This war is just weird, I guess. It’s crazy how there’s basically zero info coming from the actual front lines. Just endless hype in the American media.
