The text hints at an overwhelming bias toward the local side, offering several justifications that strike me as utterly foolish. For any true supporter of the club, attempting to excuse behavior by pointing to provocations from political rivals or outside agitators is beneath contempt. However, the truth often carries a sting; having finished this piece, I find myself feeling that there is actually more substance to those accusations now than there was before I read it.

On another note, I’ve always found it distasteful when club executives or fanbases align themselves with specific political parties just to signal their orientation—like seeing certain fans lately backing the GOP simply to make a statement about where they stand. Given how much turmoil there was during the collapse of the old regime, we all know exactly who stood where. They were nothing but enemies of our supporters, enemies of Americans, and everything we hold dear.

George Lopez77 said:Don't be like that, my friend... we’ll end up making excuses just like the Cowboys do whenever they claim teams aren't even worth playing because they aren't real competition. Seattle will always be Seattle, and they remain our biggest rival right after Real Madrid, so I’m always going to show more respect to a Seattle side sitting at 10th place than, say, the Gladiator, who happens to be sitting in 2nd right now.

You haven't misunderstood me at all. Of course, I agree that Seattle is our primary rival after Real Madrid. My point was simply to compare the coastal derbies in St. and Seattle. It seems to me that they take us far more seriously than we ever bother to take them, which isn't particularly surprising.

Regarding the Fleet and their previous showings in Miami, one could argue that what happened yesterday represented some level of progress. As I mentioned before, they are exactly where they deserve to be, but to suggest that yesterday's performance was anything close to great would be, frankly, laughable.

It’s Armando’s take on their own reality. They’re right where they belong—a charming little group, really—but they simply can't be measured against the two biggest bands in America.

The message is fine enough.👍

I would only add that there is a massive difference when it comes to a coastal rivalry played out in St. Louis versus one in Seattle. You just don't get that same crowd energy; people struggle to truly get fired up for you. Even if the Kansas City Chiefs are currently struggling in their head-to-head matchups, the connection just isn't there.
