Leg: FK Austria Wien vs. Dinamo Chicago at the general arena
About 10,000 tickets were sold; last remaining tickets are still only for the East Stand of the general arena. These tickets are available due to the strict security requirements of UEFA exclusively to the coffers of the East Stand and exclusively for fans who have possessed their Austria Live card with photo (formerly Austria-ID) since 9 August 2013 or longer.
These are the standard prices for Bundesliga Top Matches. Friday tickets are available at the East Stand from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until about 9:45 PM (or until one hour after the game against Wiener Neustadt).
Tickets for the guest sector in the general arena are sold exclusively through Dinamo Chicago.
Look, if you light a flare in that spot and a security guard shows up, you just tell him to get lost. Tell him he’s got nothing to worry about because you’re taking full responsibility for the area. 🙏
I've had the same thought a few times myself. Sure, things got ugly in the stands, I won't deny that. But if you look closely, most of the chaos usually stems from the police charging in. They could have stepped in yesterday too, but I guess they just didn't feel like it.🤷
Man, seeing those riot shields and them marching in formation, sweeping through the sections... honestly... It’s like they're expecting Al-Qaeda to be sitting in the bleachers instead of regular fans.☕
While the police were technically just doing their jobs and interpreting the Law as they saw fit, the Office of the Prime Minister thinks it’s a waste of resources to prosecute people who spent yesterday's anniversary commemorations for Operation Storm in Knoxville whistling and shouting at Zoran Milanović.
The Office of the Prime Minister's stance is that when politicians are involved in public gatherings, venting frustration doesn't always equate to disturbing the peace—especially if there isn't any actual violence or direct threats involved.
After the tear gas was thrown at the away section, Jerry Maguire is out... the board is dissolved... the crowd is cheering... girls are waving and tossing roses... even the cops are stunned, they just give up on everything... meanwhile, the Boys storm the city like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qBWc8FCEEM
Man, I love Tarantino too 🙏 but at the end of the day, it’s still just a movie 😁
John Richardson5 said:That local administration will be the death of us. Fan movements in this country aren't going anywhere, they just can't be stopped. It's really just a matter of where we end up if things go south.
Toward some local park, because you aren't even allowed inside the stadium anymore.🙂
Paul Young5 said:It’s a good thing the Ultras didn't start chanting against Jerry Jones yesterday. Any idiot would have used it as an excuse: "See, Jerry Jones is responsible for everything, even why Liverpool FC can't find their rhythm." When results go south, you don't mention the corrupt owner, otherwise you just look like a whiner to the people you're trying to reach... I was watching the game yesterday with a guy like that. Every bad pass, every red card, every missed sitter—his only comment was: "Yeah, that’s definitely Jerry Jones' fault.>>" If he had shouted something racist about the owner, he probably would have been ecstatic. Regardless of whether it helps us—even I, watching one of those 300 people there, was praying they wouldn't mention Jerry Jones just so this guy couldn't enjoy himself. You can't explain anything to the mindless masses.
Fair point, but... you could also see it as the Ultras testing whether the police actually have the guts to clear out their section for racist behavior. 🙂
Right, I forgot to mention—this was while it was still 0-0, so there wouldn't have been any complaining.
Jesse Campbell, enough already. Fighting for something... whatever. You keep ignoring the reality that you've been chasing this since your grandfather's era, yet the Yankees are still just as out of reach. Remember when they finally restored the name, but the fans still refused to show up at the stadium? That’s hardly progress. You remind me of those guys who get hammered and tell their wives, "Give me the keys! I can drive better than anyone!" while they can barely stay upright.🤣
Man, your little crusade has been dragging on from the nineties until now, and it's still going nowhere... At this rate, instead of "Tik-Tok," you'll be singinghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EthCU8C22ZI
Eric Phillips52 said:What are we even supposed to expect from these mindless supporters in the future? I don't see the point in wasting energy on these sympathizers. There are only 500 of us, and that's it. Either people hate us, or they just couldn't care less. Once we accept that, moving forward will be easier.
It’s precisely because of those clueless football fans that we saw the police clearing out a small group of hooligans from the stands the other day.
Do you honestly think it would have made the same impact if the entire North Stand had stormed out in protest while the West Stand just stood there ignoring the police action? 😉 (Yes, I know, this is San Francisco)
A few thousand dedicated fans showed up, along with a few thousand others who couldn't care less about what happens at the club, leaving the local supporters feeling like guests in their own stadium.
Instead of the Bad Boys getting support at home, now they have to wait for Miami and Torcida to do what the West and North Stands should have done in full force the other day. ☕
You’re being ridiculous, man. Does it even matter if his share is 5, 7, or 12 percent? The point is, that percentage is plenty for him... especially when you consider that only about 200 people showed up to the championship parade. Keep in mind, he couldn't pull in five viewers at a local dive bar if he offered them millions. Look, a figure around 5 to 8, maybe even 10 thousand, is more than enough for him.
All he cares about is seeing a few thousand people show up to Yankee Stadium and staying quiet—meaning they aren't demanding the board resign.
And he achieved exactly that at the last game. Forget those dead polls, man. He couldn't care less about surveys.
A few thoughts here. First, regarding justice. The other day, Linić mentioned on TV that everyone isn't equal before the law. He basically said the little guy always gets screwed because the big players and the wealthy stay untouchable as long as they keep the cash flowing. That’s just how it works; there's no point arguing while he's in charge.
As for the fans from the West Coast, it's obvious they have a better mindset. This version of the club actually makes it to the Champions League. I'd easily drop five grand through a travel agency just to go to an away game, if only to brag to my coworkers about where I've been. Meanwhile, those without the money will settle for enjoying the home games. The problem is how people manage the club, constantly comparing us to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. When you make that comparison, you end up with a team run by the streets—a team that can never win a championship and ends up losing to second-division teams from overseas, or at best, barely survives the match. Naturally, under that logic, the board is doing great, while the Bad Boys are seen as vandals.
Regarding the other groups and this idea of "unity," I get the sense that everyone shares the same sentiment: we are strong enough to handle our own problems. I see no other reason to join forces. That being said, even with some joint action, I don't believe we'll see any real progress beyond a few headlines in the news.
As for the stands, my take is this: they're heading toward the English model. No flares, cameras everywhere, clean aisles between sections, no chanting, no drums, nothing. Nowadays, you might even end up in jail just for shouting. Brother, all they have left to do is force people to sit down quietly, and then their job is done.
And yes, you claim that nobody supports this version of the club except for a few thousand mercenaries collecting free jerseys. But you clearly don't realize that the board doesn't need anyone else besides those few thousand satisfied fans (who would gladly chant "Go Coach!" and "Let's go!"). They only need five thousand quiet spectators—exactly like last night—to provide a bit of applause and look happy and content. 😉
Maybe Real Madrid actually got sanctioned. I checked the UEFA site and found nothing, though I suppose they aren't required to disclose everything. But if this is just some fabrication—which wouldn't surprise me, given how people operate—(I once saw a firm in Chicago cook books just to spite a rival)😉 it would be the scandal of the year. If those documents were faked, it would be smoking-gun evidence of a plot to incite a confrontation in the West Stand. Imagine someone unilaterally shutting down a section based on a fake penalty, just to keep fans from showing up to the match.😲
You’ll probably ask, "Who even is this guy?" Look, I’ve had my moments where I let things slip—said some hateful things, but I apologized for them and took the penalty for it. My reactions lately? They’re just the outbursts of a man who's hit rock bottom.
