In all honesty, perhaps this whole COVID situation isn't such a disaster after all; isn't it high time we actually implemented some fundamental changes, people?
Personally, I find nature far more rewarding than most people. Dealing with the general public is often a disappointing endeavor, isn't it? There is something truly restorative about heading out for a hike in the Rockies; even if you indulge in a few drinks along the way, the experience remains magical. At least out there, you won't encounter those obnoxious idiots who insist on hovering over everything with their smartphones, snapping photos of every single thing they see on a Saturday afternoon. In a cynical sense, one could almost argue that the pandemic served a purpose by keeping those types at bay.
When Darla and slyraven27 give someone their stamp of approval on looks, you know they aren't kidding—and apparently, they’ve got some skills in other areas too!

He is a textbook fraud; he's just using those heart issues as an excuse to get out of things now, but let's be honest—he's still a complete joke.😁DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Well, there are plenty of nutritious grains out there that you can easily mix with beans to boost the protein content. I always tend to add some dried meat to my beans; it’s one of the few traditional dishes I actually bother making from scratch.

everything else is just a side dish.
Besides, America is a massive country; we can handle whatever comes our way. I'm not easily swayed by those trendy little dietary fads.
And frankly, life moves at jet speed these days.😁
But in all seriousness, look at the facts regarding meat production: you require significantly more water—not to mention the sheer volume of feed needed to fatten livestock—than you do for growing grains, vegetables, or fruit. You could easily find an article detailing these calculations if you cared to look. And that’s without even mentioning those miserable industrial chicken and cattle farms where animals are kept in cages, unable to move an inch. Now, with this whole COVID situation, people are slowly starting to realize the reality of it all.

It is widely understood that nothing quite matches the quality of home-cooked meals. Personally, the only things I find worth making from scratch are pizza dough, pasta, or perhaps some gnocchi.
And please, let’s not clutter this thread with all that nonsense about Index and their usual garbage. If you really feel the need to vent about it, go head over to the coffee shop forum; you'll find plenty of people there eager to indulge in that kind of chatter.
I wouldn't say I actually make them myself—not that I really need to, considering how easy they are to pick up at any grocery store these days. Honestly, my grandmother used to make the best homemade pasta you could ever imagine; I can still vividly remember watching her work her magic in the kitchen.
I just need some meat on the side to make it perfect.
My mother used to joke about how much I loved potatoes—as if I were born with a craving for them.
It seems you men always feel like something is missing without a side of meat, yet there is such an incredible abundance of delicious food out there that doesn't require animal products. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy meat too, but I certainly don't need it every single day. Besides, isn't it better for the planet and the animals?
