It’s funny how "freedom" and "rights" always seem to come at someone else's expense.
It just goes to show that Jesus is the only way.
Especially when you realize it's logically impossible for everyone's rights and freedoms to be met at once. Only the incarnate God of Nazareth is the actual intersection point where everything meets—or falls apart.
Honestly, this whole thing doesn't really hold up if you actually bother to read the Bible...
But here's the best part about the Holy Scripture... the humanity. None of those other books they call "sacred" ever actually teach you how to be a human being.
At the end of the day, we all just want to be human—saved, free, you know? Even better if we can manage that by breakfast. Odds are slim, but since we only get one shot, I guess we take it. Hope! Jesus!
Anthony Perez9 said:Nah. They basically took over 300 details from the Old Testament about the promised Messiah and recycled them to build this fairy tale about Jesus in the New Testament. Now people act like they actually fulfilled those prophecies.🤦
Jesus is the Word made flesh, and He's the only way to truly know Him.
Total fanatic. In your world, only your story is true and everyone else is just working for the devil.
Jesus complements the Old Testament. If you read both enough times, you can see how He actually tightens up the rules sometimes.
Sure. There’s a part where Jesus calls out the priests for softening God's command to kill a child that curses their parents. He didn't even get rid of stoning...
the wide gate that leads to Sheol and that whoever believes and gets baptized receives the Holy Spirit.
So, only your specific group of baptized people avoids going to Hell? Enjoy your delusion.
Hebrews 6:1-8
Philippians 3:23, 4-7
I don't even get the first part—pure disbelief. Nothing else really gets under my skin, though. I respect your opinion, especially coming from a guy. I don't feel the need to lecture you; I'm chill.
I'd send a man to tear your arguments apart for the sake of anyone actually wanting to learn, but it's just me here right now.
You definitely caught that bit about stoning for cursing parents... You've enlightened me. I actually learned something from you.
And the wicked can serve all the way up to heaven too? Check Matthew 25:31-46
Jesus is humble. He wins everything through humility, and once his enemies are finally crushed underfoot and he’s finished setting up a home for the sheep in heaven, he’s coming back to toss anything lacking the mercy of the living God—the God of truth and the Holy Spirit—straight into the fire.
He doesn't care about your resume or your little personal achievements; at the end of the day, He’ll toss those right into the flames and label you a lawless sinner.
Every single word in Scripture is Him. He is the Living Word walking among us.
If you actually live out the Word instead of just nodding along to it, you’ll get that heavenly reward: eternal life.
The Father’s commandment is simple: eternal life.
You can't pull this off on your own, but you can let Jesus step in and work through you via His Spirit.
You’ll find luck and health even when things get messy because you're looking upward.
Women aren't supposed to teach in the Church (which is Christ's invisible Body).
I answer questions and serve, but it’s not based on my own ego or intellect. I was taught by a man; if I were teaching on my own, it would be a total nightmare of demonic nonsense. I don't even have to think—it just flows. The Holy Spirit brings everything I need to say right back to my mind.
Trying to lift yourself up only ends in being humbled.
Being humbled is what actually lifts you up.
Seek God’s glory, not your own or the glory of your idols.
Jesus isn't some victim; He’s a winner who checked off hundreds of prophecies from the Old Testament.
The Roman Empire didn't actually build anything from Him. Constantine just had some random dream about winning under the sign of the cross—who knows if that vision was even divine or just straight-up demonic...
Jesus is the Word made flesh, and He’s the only way to actually know God.
If you realize, like Peter did, that you've got nowhere else to turn because He’s the only one with the words of eternal life. That whole message wraps up with the apostles, mentioning how in the end times people will try to ban marriage and how you have to get out of the sinner's territory involving the 7 hills (Rome, Vatican City).
Jesus completes the Old Testament. If you read both enough times, you’ll see how He’s sometimes strict and sometimes eases things up by revealing Himself as the Path to heaven.
He says you have to believe there is no other, otherwise you're on a dead-end street—a wide road leading straight to Sheol—and anyone who believes and is baptized receives the Holy Spirit.
You’re born again through water and the Spirit.
Then you get the gift of the Spirit, and that Spirit starts pushing back against sin. You don't have to keep walking down the wrong path, tripping up, and barely crawling out alive using that "trial and error" method.
If you haven't truly believed and thought baptism would get you something other than drowning in Jesus' death to bring glory to God, then you're basically wasting your time.
You can't grow the fruits of the Spirit or live a consecrated life without eternal life (and Jesus' Spirit helps you with that; you can't pull it off alone).
Hebrews 6:1-8
I don't belong anywhere.
Look, sin isn't quite what Satan tries to spin it as these days. If sin was just getting into a scrap with someone to grab some cash, or indulging a little, or being "kindhearted" while we protect animals and nature... damn it! (Yeah, it's a sin. But not because God is some villain and we’re just wild creatures made to be free with our big brains... Read more...)
Sin is a mistake—one, two, five, twenty mistakes—and then it's straight to the hell of Sheol.
I've been reborn, which means you actually read what Jesus said, realize people are still selling Him out for thirty pieces of silver today, and decide to actually follow Him.
If a woman goes after another man while her husband is still alive, she's an adulteress. Adulterers, just like all the unfaithful, end up in the lake of fire according to Revelation.
That's just sound logic from the Holy Spirit.
We can call a husband a monster and pile up mountains of evidence for a court case, then try to twist Jesus' words about how "whoever receives a child in my name receives me, the One who sent me"... and convince ourselves we're righteous...
I've actually done a case study on those losers living in luxury with their "new life in Christ," claiming Satan was ruling their marriage before.
(And I'm not talking about the mystery of the religious institution of "marriage"—basically, any legal marriage is marriage as far as I can tell.)
Then, suddenly, they show who their real daddy is, and it definitely isn't the one in heaven:
They take selfies while feeding the hungry or smuggling so-called alms to Nigeria.
A second marriage is adultery.
Unless you're truly righteous and haven't even looked at anyone else (or if you're a total jerk but stayed faithful), and a woman just goes for a walk and indulges her body a little too much... Then they say you can move on, but honestly, the ones allowed to move forward are just waiting for some Catholics to hit them with a process in a few years for like 300 bucks...
So once again, their God isn't Jesus...
The only way Jesus, the Good Shepherd, leads you from a first marriage into a second is if there is actual purity, devotion, and a death that tore you apart.
The path is narrow. It's not popular because why bother? Why not just have a little fun and burn for eternity? "My body, my choice," right? Or just crank up the music and say, "Give me everything" (as Satan would say).
P.S.
People leave relationships in tears, and marriage is a total eclipse—you can't just forget you were married and that the other person is still out there living their life. You CANNOT just jump into a new one, because that's just another lie that works today but destroys your soul and body in hell tomorrow.
What is hell?
?
Eternal condemnation.
There's a reason why the walls and clothes in your house outlive you—so you might actually stop and wonder, and finally open the Gospel.
So, let's talk about love.
Jesus is the (no-nonsense) God of love—literally God in the flesh.
It makes me think back to when I actually believed you could mix pure spirituality with total promiscuity. What a joke.
The truth is, Jesus showed me what real love looks like through one of His disciples.
I mean, we're talking real stuff: support, helping out financially, actually paying attention—all without ignoring my flaws or demanding sex as some kind of payback.
That’s the catch, though (God basically feeds people this effective illusion that everyone who doesn't embrace the Truth should just drop out) because every other version of "love" out there is just a cheap, twisted imitation of Christian love.
There isn't a second option.
(Pretty sure that's from Philippians, not 1 Thessalonians 2)
And let's be real: Jesus uses the people around us to give us lessons and demands.
Trying to wrap my head around all that was a massive headache.
It’s my faith in Jesus Christ that pulls me through, not just some vague, misplaced idea of "faith" in general.
I live by His word. Plain and simple. And anyone who actually follows it, they're heading straight to Him.
But if you aren't living it? You're just another lawbreaker, someone Christ won't even recognize.
Look, it isn't easy, but I'd much rather take the narrow path and be safe than go any other way.
So, has anyone else here been baptized (like my brother was)?
You’re keeping the Sabbath because you’re actually living out the Law—not just because you read the Fourth Commandment, but because He lives inside you and works through you, step by step...
Imagine the best possible thing ever sliding into your DMs, someone filming a public video just to help you out. And you've got the Lord Jesus on your side, so you actually manage to power through reading everything until midnight.
Using a Domino's pizza to fuel an unbreakable life; seriously, a double death trap like that never happened again...
And honestly, it really didn't.
Seek and you shall find; keep typing and the door swings wide open.
And yeah, any religion claiming you can get an annulment just by paying a fee is a total scam.
Because Christ clearly said it doesn't exist!
Plus, those people who paid the fee to get an annulment and now act like their entire lives have been transformed? They're playing with fire.
Being born again means actually seeing the Kingdom of God because, through Christ's grace, you're suddenly looking at things "from above."
And boom—suddenly there’s no such thing as an annulment just for paying a fee, and every new marriage becomes adultery. Like, the absolute worst kind of sin. He is alive, He is the Way, and frankly, you should be pretty grateful for His mercy keeping you from being tossed straight into hell.
A joke? A fairy tale?
Not really. He basically tells you you'd rather gouge your eye out and walk through life one-eyed (eternally) than deal with whatever is causing you to stumble, rather than face hell. Still not getting it? Here's someone who gets your whole "vision" problem perfectly fine, sending a special message via the Word (Jesus) just for you, saying, "Hold on until the end, I'm praying for you."
Where are those two in His name? He is? The Word made flesh?
What now? Maybe a Jumbo Pepperoni from Pizza Hut will fix everything.
Sure, committing a mortal sin to temporarily fix your eyesight works great. Then His grace comes because you actually want it, and suddenly that $20 Jumbo Pizza you can't afford and your vision problems vanish—because you were carried away by the hand of the One you ignored while reading the Word on a Saturday, effectively shutting yourself off from a world that wants to drag you into a debt-ridden hell of eternal separation from Him.
You're healed.
Look, obviously we have zero clue when Jesus and his Holy Spirit decide to take the wheel.
The hardest part is just trying to shake off those dark thoughts and the paranoia—that total sense of hopelessness you get living in this broken world.
But because Jesus Christ is alive, our minds can actually handle the weight of it all, simply because He’s there.
I don't have to pull any stunts, achieve something massive, buy anything specific, or even be perfect just to be accepted.
I'm not out here attacking anyone, but when you're reborn, the Holy Spirit basically performs an intervention on your old self—it puts to rest that version of you that's stumbling through life hooked on substances, chasing cheap thrills, and treating sin and useless habits like they're nothing. We wouldn't want that rot in us.
Since nobody knows when death is gonna knock or when the Lord of lords, Jesus, is calling, the last thing you want is to spend eternity facing judgment after floating through nothingness. Honestly, waking up gasping for air because you had a nightmare from eating too much? That's pure horror.
I just really wish you would find salvation.
coastalwalker9 said:It is truly quite refreshing to read such confidence. Generally speaking, I have always had a certain appreciation for people who possess a clear sense of direction and a firm grasp on their own purpose.
At times, certain individuals—within a religious context, that is—tend to carry themselves, act, or operate as if they belong to some sort of privileged minority or an enlightened elite. It’s as though they have a guaranteed, reserved seat in heaven, while everyone else is simply left to stumble through the dark. They seem to imply that if others fail to see the light right in front of their faces—or if they do see it but choose to look away—well, that's hardly their fault. (And please, don't take this personally.)
Isn't that precisely the trap for the overconfident—much like their shortsightedness, whether it's born of sheer accident or blatant intent?
(I’m not trying to be provocative here; I just want to get ahead of any potential accusations before they start.)
Sorry you feel that way.
The truth is, I just put my faith in Jesus, and He saved me. It wasn't some overnight thing, either. First, He pulled me away from weed, then a year later it was alcohol, then a few years after that, it was antidepressants and cigarettes.
That moment of being born again changed everything once I realized He is the Word made flesh—a walking Bible, the Truth (the Way, the Life).
And this didn't happen over coffee in some cozy little church group. This happened while I was running from violence in my childhood home straight into a violent marriage, then getting kicked out onto the streets, and even landing in jail because I was trying too hard not to be "preachy." Then back to the streets, then staying with a guy.
The Catholic Church tried to push an annulment on me, but as I dug through the Truth, I realized I couldn't just break a marriage vow until death do us part.
In the end, Jesus gave me a brother—a man—as a reward. There's no such thing as Lust; a second marriage is just adultery, and annulments are a lie. Lust leads straight to hell. You either choose to follow God's law through the strength Jesus gives you, or you take the wide road that everyone else takes, which leads to ruin. To Sheol, down into the ground to suffer forever for those tiny handfuls of "pleasure" based on whatever someone feels like doing (which is just Satan's lies).
The world twists what belongs to God.
But hey, the Kingdom is God's reality, waiting for anyone who believes in the Word from A to Z and lives it out, praying for help whenever they fall short.
Of course masturbation leads straight to hell—just like birth control and pretty much anything else that keeps you tethered to this physical shell and gives you that fake sense of freedom.
The body can’t actually own freedom (from death),
But through true freedom, you can actually earn a body (that lasts forever).
Anxiety and fake peace are basically the exact same thing. Glory to Jesus for setting me free from all that nonsense, and honestly, I hope He does the same for some of you too!!!
He is love, but even the narrow path leads toward love.
Just ask Him: "What do You have to say to me?" and then open up His word.
Seriously, He isn't going to kick anyone out who comes to Him, because everything He said is one hundred percent solid.
So why not just try? Why wait until you hit a divorce, a massive illness, or total rejection—or just never actually show up for life at all?
Look, we aren't exactly going to beat Him through some internet forum; Jesus already won that fight. We're just here so when our faith hits rock bottom, we can find some strength in the discussion, right?
For most people, Jesus is the God of mercy, not necessarily love for everyone (blasphemy against the Holy Spirit—the truth is, there's no forgiveness for that). His word judges. Period.
So, when I used that harsh term, I was talking about the ones who reject Him, the ones who consciously choose damnation, do evil, and absolutely hate the truth.
The Bible is the living Word of God; it doesn't belong to some quasi-church organization. But let's be real: you can't actually interpret it if you're drowning in booze or living in adultery. And yeah, by adultery, I mean anything outside of marriage, even just making out.
That's just the truth.
If you’re reading the Bible while wallowing in sin, all you're gonna see is your own demon and nothing else.
But if you've just stumbled and you truly don't want to sin, then you'll find the living Jesus in every single sentence.
Black Ship, we do not sow?
Are you actually living in the Word?
Because the Word tells us that others did the sowing, and we're just the ones reaping the harvest.
I am sending you to reap what you didn't even work for. Others put in the effort, and you're just stepping into their hard work?
God help us!
I ran for the hills from organized religion the second I actually read Jesus' Word.
Look, man, wearyharbor41, I’m not here looking for "brothers and sisters" just to kill time—and definitely not looking for any guys, if you catch my drift. I just wanted to see if there are any actual living souls out there who realize the WHOLE damn world is built on deception.
And when I said "use," I meant using this space to help expose the sheer absurdity of everything we deal with.
The spirit inside us is way more powerful than whatever is out there in the world.
But honestly, when you try to navigate life through American institutions, you hit a wall of shocking truths pretty fast.
What Jesus taught was this: sin is not believing in Him, righteousness is going to the Father and no longer seeing Him, and the judgment? The prince of this world is already condemned!
The Matrix isn't some clever escape, either—it’s just another Hollywood trap.
Evil. The old serpent. Satan.
Grab a Bible, put Jesus' word first, and just walk through the world for a bit. You'll see. One place they'll tell you you're sick, another says you're healthy; one place you're wealthy, the next you're a pauper.
That's the work of Evil. Seriously. I had a temp gynecologist once who told me, with total sadistic glee, that my ovary had failed, then a few weeks later my regular doctor tells me everything is perfectly fine.
That's how Evil works. It grabs people, sows fear, and uses that to drive everyone insane.
Nah, I’m not exactly looking to join a monastery. Those places are just glorified retirement homes for people trying to dodge reality. I’d rather earn my own peace of mind than spend my life lying to myself—and everyone else—pretending we’re all one big happy family when we clearly aren't, just so I don't end up in a lake of fire with the rats.
Whatever. Honestly, I’ve already got my brothers and sisters in Christ, and I don't need some weird secret society or Masonic lodge to feel connected. (Not that I'm complaining, though.)
But anyway, look at the bigger picture here—this whole thing is just pure absurdity, you know?
Hey there!
Everyone’s headed for eternity—live in Jesus, or die in this fake world.
I’m not here to play theologian or act like some preacher; if it’s His will, He’ll find someone else to do the witnessing.
I’m just looking for people who are truly free in Jesus. Maybe they don't even realize it yet, as long as they aren't fighting Him or stuck in some cult of personality or rigid dogma.
If God is their spirit and their truth...
And I mean actual truth, not just some intellectual theory or emotional hype (which is just a lie).
There was this one guy here before, I think his handle was Krishnamurti.
His signature said a time is coming when we'll see who follows the Spirit and who just follows the money.
So, anyone who isn't out here paying for books, expensive seminars, or data plans just to "elevate" themselves is potentially
welcome. (Seriously, if you think breathing exercises and yoga poses are "spirituality," please just skip this one):
Let's stick together and win in Jesus against this world of losers (that's what I call the miserable souls of this world—if I'm wrong, feel free to set me straight).
