Look, let me tell you what Angela from the Market told me. Get this. Derek went to grab his cut from little Mike's deal out in Sombor. Mike lost his cool because Derek was expecting a 20% commission, but Mike had already taken some foreign currency and only offered 10%. Derek started crying and ran to see Jerry Brown, complaining that Mike was trying to screw her over with bad currency and a lower rate, so Jerry wouldn't authorize the payment. Jerry blew a fuse and called Bob. Derek was weeping like it was a rainy season, and Bob was sweating bullets because he didn't have the funds ready for Jerry. Right then, Bob's brother shows up from Sombor with the full 20% commission in crisp, fresh bills. Exactly how Jerry likes it. They all headed out to a local pub for some live music and drinks to celebrate a great start to the year. Later, Bob's old man showed up with a shovel and, in the spirit of "good business," fired off a few shots. Now the old man has enough to pay off his city apartment via a loan, so everyone's happy.

There, it's all ready for print. Just tell them it's from a reliable anonymous source. 🍿

To your disappointment, I am not Mary B. Just because I asked a few questions about something multiple people have brought up in this thread doesn't mean I'm playing for the Republican Party. If anything, I tend to side with Maya and her crew, but that shouldn't stop me from asking questions, right?

We aren't even talking about drama here—we're talking about the random people Pcelica stepped on (look, I'll admit I'm being bipolar and cheering when she gets aggressive), but damn it, some of these people actually have enough ground to take this to court. I'm not going to list specific cases right now; if this all goes public, I'll comment then. And what about Leona? She’s in Greece right now, and before that, she was somewhere else too. Or is the destination the other way around? Hold on, let me post a photo. Here: https://postimg.cc/MM6VVBKC Now you try explaining to me what exactly is "transparent" about any of this compared to the mess with Kerum/Democratic Party/Republican Party? It’s all poorly written, and nobody explains what kind of hellish "technical documentation development" they’re even doing! What is that? For what? And as for the staff's education, it's barely worth mentioning because the whole thing looks disgusting. Secondly, what is she actually learning, and how is that supposed to benefit us? Obviously, we have a right to know, and a truly transparent and symmetrical renaissance would provide those answers. But no, everything is just half-assed.

Now, please don't kill me 😁, but I find it absolutely fascinating how quickly this information starts circulating—who is yelling at whom, who slipped into whose office... Their secretaries certainly know how to keep things moving, I'll give them that.

I am in total agreement with you regarding transparency. ☕

Zachary Anderson20 said:Hell yeah! But honestly, let's see how those lawsuits actually play out. From what I've seen, some of them don't even look baseless at all. As far as I know, the City hasn't had this many lawsuits in ages; if they win 90% of them, frankly, I'll be happy for all of us and for Maji. On the flip side, it would be nice if her rules applied to everyone equally—but hey, why bother? Nobody mentions that on Facebook, and nobody has the time anyway since everyone is just hyped up for fights and vendettas. And yeah, Long mentioned it on the previous page, and Bojan went after Maja just for sending a congratulatory note to his buddy. Oh, and I should probably mention that Bojan's little girl travels quite nicely, apparently justified under "Staff training services abroad" for a cool €3,500. 😍 Look, I like Leona, even if I'll find it hard to forgive those acres she took, but this senseless drama is just too much. It’s coming from both the Mayor and his "favorite" officials alike. 🎉

And does anyone know how that whole thing with the buddy ended? Did he get served? Was Puljko sued? Did Bob get reprimanded? 🍿

Where did you find that info about Leona's training? I searched the city websites and found nothing. That doesn't necessarily mean it was done without reason.

If she learned how to manage hectares while they were at it, then... 🤣

I suspect you might actually need this paired with it

Otherwise, you could always throw in an extra 8GB of RAM if things get sluggish

You're the best 🙂 👍
wiredotter14 said:I've been using an Asus Zenbook Flip for a few years now—it's a bit higher end, closer to the $2333 tier, but similar enough to this newer Vivobook—and all my styluses work fine. Mine didn't come with one, so I ended up picking up a separate Asus Pen, but a friend's Microsoft Surface pen worked without any issues at all. Of course, you can always just buy the official brand-name stylus meant for the laptop, provided the screen supports styluses in general. Not every touchscreen plays nice with every pen.

There isn't really a universal rule about which brand is "the best"—you’re better off digging through reviews for specific models.

Thanks so much. I think I'm leaning toward the Asus. It’s more budget-friendly than the Acer I was looking at earlier, and honestly, I'd rather listen to people who actually know their way around 😉 Plus, I'm in a bit of a bind where I can't use a credit card right now, and Media World is the only shop that accepts PayPal. So, yeah, 🎉
wiredotter14 said:The Ryzen 3, 5, and 7 designations refer to the series, whereas the 3000 and 4000 numbers denote the actual generation.
The models you mentioned are running on 3500U and 3700U processors.
If you want something more modern—faster and significantly more efficient—you should look at the Ryzen 5 4500U or the Ryzen 7 4700U.

For instance, there’s one available at Best Buy featuring the 4500U.
https://www.bestbuy.com/art/lap...me-crni/103017

I can't speak to current stock levels or specific financing options, but I'd suggest browsing sites like Amazon or Newegg by searching for "4500U" or "4700U" in their search bars.

Thanks for pointing that out—I completely missed it because I was so hyper-focused on Acer and Dell, having heard they were the top tier. I'm a bit less certain about Asus. If I do end up going that route and the stylus isn't bundled in the box, is it possible to buy it separately? And does it need to be the official brand, or is any stylus good enough—is a pen just a pen?
wiredotter14 said:Try looking for something similar with a 4th generation Ryzen—maybe a Ryzen 5 4500 u or Ryzen 7 4700—and check if it only comes with 8GB of RAM but has an extra slot so you can pop in another 8 later.

That site lists the Ryzen 3, 5, and 7 series, but they don't seem to carry the 4th gen 😁. Ideally, I’d love to order from Media World since they accept PayPal, which is how I'm planning to handle the payment. I pulled some examples from their specific link for multimedia laptops—which is exactly the category I'm targeting:

I'm torn; that HP Spectre x360 really does look perfect for what I need, so now I'm just... 🤷
Hello there!

I am looking to purchase a laptop for:

- video editing

- creating animated videos (not using heavy desktop software, but rather cloud-based tools—for instance, https://www.animaker.com/

- recording audio tracks

- managing cryptocurrency—specifically, having my various wallets installed and ready to go

- general day-to-day tasks (movies, music, YouTube, writing, etc.)

In short, everything required to produce content for YouTube 😁

My main priority is having sufficient memory and a solid processor; though, since most of my workflow will be cloud-based, I wonder if I might be overspecifying? (?) Aside from Audacity, which is a standalone application that definitely requires some local muscle.

And, naturally, I need reliable WiFi connectivity wherever I happen to be—though I assume every modern laptop comes standard with that nowadays?

Budget: nothing exceeding $10 $0.00, ideally sitting in the $5,000–$7,000 range.

Brand preference: Dell or Acer.

This particular model from this retailer caught my eye:

https://www.mediaworld.com/art/lap...me-sivi/102614

The touchscreen and stylus functionality are the biggest draws for me. The animation software I use relies heavily on drag-and-drop elements, and being able to use a pen would make the whole process much smoother and faster. I tried navigating my old machine using just my finger instead of a mouse, and frankly, it was a sluggish experience. 🤦

If anyone here has hands-on experience with this Acer model, I would truly appreciate your insights. If not, here are two other options I have been weighing up:

Please excuse the long-winded post; this is actually the first laptop I've ever purchased myself. Thanks to everyone for the help. 🎉
