My gynecologist didn't even bother asking if I was taking anything, so I just took the initiative and told her myself; she simply suggested I take a break from everything, no pills required...
Trinovum So, I’ve been weighing the idea of switching over to them, primarily because of the cost factor... and also because, frankly, everything else I’ve tried left me feeling a bit... well, let's just say "triangular" and nauseous, plus my libido hit rock bottom, and Yasmin is just way too expensive... what has everyone’s experience been like with them?

Good grief, that’s just too much... It really isn't worth it. 😢
Does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to ship a small package back to the United Kingdom? It was an eBay purchase, weighing somewhere around 10 ounces...

About a year ago, I was on Logest for a few months—the only side effect that actually bothered me was a drop in libido. Now, I’m looking to start pills again. I’ve already seen my gynecologist and picked up a prescription, but I’m stuck on this one worry: will that dip in drive return? If it does, the whole endeavor feels somewhat pointless. I realize that if I’m constantly obsessing over it, my mood might play a part, but I’m curious about your actual experiences... specifically, did you run into those same unwanted side effects when restarting the pill for a second or third time? Thanks.
I’ve tried a few different ones myself... first Triqular, which gave me nausea for the first five days, then Celest, which actually made me vomit after the very first pill, and then Loestrin—which absolutely killed my libido... I decided to take a break since I hadn't been on them in five years, and I actually started Trinovum just yesterday... Basically, if this one doesn't work out, I’ll probably go back to Triqular or Celest, because Loestrin scares me the most regarding my sex drive (even though I can't stand nausea either)... Everything else with the Loestrin was perfect, but that one issue became such a big deal for me... I'm young, and it was frustrating to feel almost every touch from my partner as an annoyance... It improved while I was off them, but I don't think I can face the Loestrin again... anyway, I hope that helps at all...🙂
A close friend of mine went through the exact same thing... she was vomiting constantly and ended up in the ER, only for the doctors to give her that classic line: "You'll feel better once you have kids..." But since she's been dealing with this since her very first period, that wasn't exactly a helpful timeline to wait for 😁... She was eventually diagnosed with a hormonal imbalance, started taking Diana, and the pain just vanished... Another friend had a slightly milder case, but once she started on Triqular, she felt sooo much better... Anyway, I really hope this helps...
Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to reset my cycle back to its usual rhythm after taking a break from my birth control pills. To give you some context, I’ve always been very consistent—starting my first pack on a Thursday and finishing the last pill on a Wednesday, which meant my period would always arrive on Sunday. It worked perfectly for my schedule. However, since the rule is that I have to start the new pack on the very first day of my period (which would be this Sunday), my whole routine is going to get thrown off, and honestly, I really liked the old timing... So, here is what I'm thinking: if I take the first pill this Sunday and go through the entire pack, then immediately start the next one without taking any break days, how should I handle the transition? Should I stop mid-way through the second pack—say, on the first Wednesday (which would be just three days into the new pack)—or should I continue with the second pack almost until the end, meaning until that final Wednesday of the month? I hope I haven't made this way too complicated, but I'm hoping someone can follow my logic and point me in the right direction...
I am asking for some help here... So, here is the situation. I was on Triquilar for about two years, then switched to Cilest for another two, and most recently, I have been taking Logest for a year. My gynecologist actually suggested I take a break, but my real issue is this... while I was on Triquilar and Cilest, I struggled with constant nausea, which is why I made the jump to Logest. However, Logest has absolutely crushed my libido. Now, I am considering starting something else—a fourth option, really—specifically looking for one where it is proven not to kill your sex drive... though I am hoping that after a little break, things might return to normal. Does anyone have any recommendations?
