Alex Fowler5 said:I've been hunting for a solid dentist lately, and honestly, everywhere I looked, I kept seeing Dr. Farkas's name being thrown around like he was the absolute best—so I figured I'd give him a shot. Well, I finally decided to call today, but while I was digging up his number, I saw that Dr. Miroslav Farkas passed away this past summer. Is this the same Dr. Farkas who runs the practice over in Oakland on Dubovačka?
Dr. Miroslav Farkas did pass away 😢 (yeah, that's the practice in Oakland) Taylor Swift is his daughter.
He was truly one of the best—just an incredibly patient man who genuinely cared about his patients. I guess you could say Taylor is doing a wonderful job carrying on his legacy; all those great things people say about him definitely apply to her too.👍
I'll send you some more details via DM, but I figured I'd leave this here just in case anyone else was wondering about the same thing.😉

My dentist, Taylor Swift, is so gentle—honestly, she works so smoothly that a friend of mine has actually drifted off in the chair a few times. If that's the kind of sleep you're looking for... 🤷 I haven't quite reached that stage yet, since we usually just spend the time chatting—mostly me blinking and her commenting on what she's doing. 😍 I used to be terrified of going to the dentist—back when it was her dad instead of her—but now I actually look forward to it. Plus, she really takes the time to answer all my questions, which is huge for me...
It's a private practice over in Brooklyn near the market; shoot me a PM for the details. 😉
Does anyone know where I can pick up some underarm pads? Nothing too pricey, ideally 😉 I have a couple of places in mind—maybe check out some local drugstores—but I feel like hunting them down might be a bit much since they're mostly a summer thing, right? So, if anyone's spotted any lately, let me know 🙂
I honestly have no clue what the exact term is—I guess it’s something like security film or just something equally obvious😁 Anyway, you could probably use those terms if you ask someone younger at a store. I’d probably look for rolls in places like Staples or Office Depot, since they use that stuff to wrap things so they don't break. You can find envelopes at bookstores, newsstands, or the post office (though that's pricey)
And if you just need something for fidgeting😉 check out a site like Amazon—they have these little keychains you can squeeze forever that make that clicking sound. I think they might even be in a mall nearby if you want to see them in person😉
Matthew Grant9 said:Hey everyone, if anyone happens to know where I can pick up some sugar cube tongs here in the States... I would be absolutely incredibly grateful for the tip!😁 I’ve been on a mission to find this little miracle for about a year and a half now, and honestly, it's becoming quite the quest. 😛Actually, I wouldn't even mind if they came as part of a set that includes a sugar dispenser and maybe some other cute little accessories... at this point, I’m practically ready to buy an entire fancy sugar bowl just to get my hands on those tongs!
Now, having learned my lesson after wandering through countless different shops, I really should clarify one thing: I am definitely *not* looking for olive tongs, or ice tongs, or especially anything meant for meat or pasta....😍 So, yeah, just the ones for sugar please! 😢
Google says at the bottom: I was browsing this site earlier—looks like an online shop for some specialized fishing gear and maybe some nets? I can't quite tell if it's for commercial use or just hobbyists, but it seems pretty niche, I guess.
@ coppercanyon7 I mean, you basically just hang out in the subway or the metro—maybe take a quick peek at the section with the wines and spirits, then just wander around or ask someone 😉
I'm jumping in on Taun We's question—so if anyone happens to know, please drop an answer here 🙂 I've looked through piles of hair extensions, but I haven't seen anything in the women's or men's sections that sits about an inch below the ankle—let alone anything in black...
anyway, my question is: I'm really looking for some colored strands—you know, green, blue, purple, red... maybe synthetic?—but I need them to attach to a little plastic clip, kind of like this group 6 in the photo http://jjjlonghairphotopage.zoomshar...air_access.JPG I don't want the metal ones, like those hairpins or combs you usually see with extensions that just blend into your hair. I want something I can clip onto an existing bun so it sticks out, maybe pointing upwards like a little palm tree or something
Basically, I want a hair accessory that looks like when feathers stick out from a bun, 😁 but not necessarily feathers—though I suppose they could work, I'm mostly interested in those hair-like wisps
I'm not sure how to describe it in English, so I couldn't find anything similar online, but if you guys know any specific terms I could use to search for this—thanks in advance 🙂
Does anyone know where I could pick up some smaller amounts of dried veggies—but like, separated? You know, things like carrots, celery, zucchini, broccoli, beets, and stuff like that?
Just so I don't have to buy like 10 pounds of everything at once. 😁
Ideally just plain dried stuff, without any weird chemicals added to them.
I think I saw something like that popping up in the algorithm—not sure about the price though, sorry
And I'm sure they're on auction sites too, maybe from some resellers on eBay, but there might be someone just selling something from their own collection at home...
Using a tranquilizer pistol with a dart doesn't actually sedate an animal—at best, you just end up smashing its skull. And before that, you're looking at pure shock because you have to hold it against their head, so they need to be calm, and you can't afford to miss. In reality, things slip, you miss the mark, and you end up shattering sinuses—then the animal panics and everything just turns into a bloody mess. 🙄
don't lose your humanity
Honestly, it’s probably better to just go get your permit, pick up a decent handgun, and shoot from a distance—that way the animal won't even know what hit it, and there's no risk of missing because of a sudden movement. You just wait until things settle down and then take the shot... a little lead or whatever stays put, and since the bleeding starts immediately, it doesn't really have time to travel through the system.
Or maybe see what kind of sedatives are available to regular folks so you can put the animal to sleep first (using something that isn't toxic to eat, I guess)—check with the local vet clinic to see what the alternatives are.
But seriously, don't kid yourself thinking that pistol has anything to do with sedating or putting them to sleep...
@briskbison41> I think you can find them at CVS or maybe Rite Aid—honestly, maybe check Target, though I don't recall seeing them there myself. Or maybe even at a local Walgreens? There might be a smaller pharmacy near the station downtown that has a website, if I remember correctly. As for those other shops, I’d give them zero points—really. I actually tried to buy some once and hit up every store in my neighborhood, but none of them had any clue what I was talking about. I'm pretty sure the bottles exist, it’s just a matter of whether the big retailers actually stock them... last time I saw them—and I didn't even need them then—was quite a while ago, I guess.
Nowhere really—there isn't a physical store, I guess. It all goes through Oriflame consultants or via catalog sales—so prices kind of depend on when you shop, based on whatever's currently in the catalog
@crimsonsailor0: If you run out of ideas—maybe check some souvenir shops? There’s one on the west side of downtown, right after you head up those stairs toward the plaza, just take an immediate left. Then there are two more on the street near the local coffee house when you're heading toward the cathedral
My memory is a little fuzzy, but I think I spotted some similar dolls around there—not that they seem like typical American souvenirs, but maybe it kept people from selling stuff like that... 😂
@feralwalker: NAMA (target, quadric), prices for those bags are pretty decent—you can actually find some really great deals 😁 and I guess you can sometimes find a good selection of quality bags at some of the OMV gas stations too
www.hocuto.hr When I was shopping around, they had a little stand over at the mall—I think it was CC1, if I remember correctly—but maybe you should double-check everything on their site first 🙂
Yeah, I'm pretty sure about that—unless they all passed away in the last couple of months or so If I remember right—though my memory might be a bit fuzzy—there's also one over on Savska, just a little north of where Krizanje meets El Paso. If I've got that wrong, then it's probably somewhere between Savska and El Paso
