Chloe Gomez6 said:And this last part😲... My goodness, the stuff I'm reading here. Can you explain a bit more, like, how did that even happen?? Was it before or after the exam??? Didn't they say anything at all about it??? And where was her sister??? Is this guy working at a public clinic, or is he private, or maybe some hospital staff? And where exactly down there? Like near the urethra or the clitoris? (I know, I know, I'm asking way too many questions right now🙄)
My God.

So, she used to go there regularly, and this guy always had these weird vibes—totally inappropriate and just out of line.
She just didn't react when she really should have. Honestly, she should've just kicked him right in the teeth instead of acting like nothing happened.

That jerk works at the Spanish clinic—he does both private and public work, depending on which shift you show up for.
I'm not totally sure where he touched her, though she mentioned he kissed her down there. She just stood up and walked out. It's awful. Then later, people suggest maybe she's just imagining things. But seriously, you don't just "imagine" stuff like that... although, I guess we women are definitely prone to overthinking things sometimes.

Even my mom went to see him once, and he told her she needed to cauterize some small wounds—told her how much it would cost, she handed over the cash, and he just pocketed it all.😕
It's honestly disgusting! There were even other stories floating around about him.
Just gross!
Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
I’ve dealt with brutal periods my entire life—and I mean the kind where if I don't have an Advil or something on me, I literally collapse... I start sweating through my clothes just thinking about it (honestly, I’m getting chills right now just remembering how bad it used to be). Every single month was just pure torture and crying fits. It was awful.
Then I switched to Yasmin. And oh my god, I feel like a whole new person. You wouldn't believe how incredible it feels when you aren't constantly in pain. I still feel a little sensation, but honestly? It's just enough to remind me I'm actually alive.
I swear, my favorite people are those girls who claim they have "painful" cycles but then go out for drinks or a long walk like nothing's wrong. Like, seriously, just go home and deal with it, please.

All in all, birth control has been a total lifesaver for me, and I really think it would help most people too. There are women who end up in the ER every single month because of this stuff, and while we’re lucky most of us don't deal with that level of crisis, using contraception should definitely help ease the struggle.

Oh my god! Thank goodness we didn't😲

Honestly, I don't care if they're male or female—as long as they act professional, I'm good. I actually have a female doctor now and she is seriously amazing. Just so incredibly thoughtful and gentle, and she explains everything to me like I'm some kind of total idiot... honestly, ten out of ten!

And get this—I actually had an experience myself (back when I was in the hospital) where this young resident kept leaning over while the head physician was doing the exam. He’d just look down, then look me right in the eyes and smirk... 😲 Like... ugh, gross!! I just wanted to go home immediately! My first thought? Seriously? Was I even shaved properly?! Generally speaking, I haven't had the best luck with male gynecologists (either they're way too flirtatious or they're looking at my junk with... well, *other* eyes), but I'm trying not to be biased. Fingers crossed I get someone decent next time 🤣

Now, you guys probably won't believe this, but a close friend of mine had a guy down there just... well, he used his MOUTH. She never went back, and she really should have reported him, but she didn't. Just a heads up, her doctor was Dr. Colak 🙂 for anyone who might end up heading that way.
The Proposal (2009) in Movies ·
Honestly, this movie is such a girls' night flick. It’s that quintessential American rom-com vibe you totally expect once you see what it's about.
It's perfectly fine for the ladies, though—I don't think my boyfriend would even get the hype behind it.

Someone mentioned that > is total trash... hm... but when it comes to this one, everyone—guys and girls alike—was saying it’s fantastic. And they were right! It really is!

Grace Murphy95 said:Man, this is the first time I've ever dealt with a delay like this... and I mean, seven whole days late? That is just wild... honestly, I'm kind of freaking out a little bit...
So, like, everything has always been super regular for me—totally predictable, zero issues, you know?—but then life happens... I had to have knee surgery right between cycles this time around. Now I’m sitting here wondering if that could actually be the culprit for my period being late? I mean, between the local anesthesia and just a whole mountain of other meds they pumped into me... could all that stuff have totally thrown my cycle out of whack?? What do you guys think... is that even a thing? 🤷😕
I mean, I’m totally ruling out pregnancy—I am 100% sure about that part...

Look, I’m definitely no medical expert or anything—I don't have a degree or anything like that—but I did end up having surgery myself... you know, because my ovary was bleeding and all that mess... and since I was under general anesthesia, everything seemed to happen right on schedule. I honestly don't know if there's actually a connection there or what, but that's just how it went for me...
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Regarding all that massive drama surrounding Yasmin—honestly, I don't think you need to sweat it. Every single pill out there comes with side effects, right? But if your OBGYN isn't even running tests and just hands you a pack of Yasmin because "that's what everyone does" and "most women handle it fine," then yeah, maybe you have a reason to be worried. These aren't exactly Tic Tacs... so if they don't sit right with your body, nothing catastrophic is going to happen.
I personally get my labs done every three months (at least, that's what my doctor told me to do) so I shouldn't exactly be expecting a heart attack or anything crazy to hit me out of nowhere.
Plus, if nobody in your family has suddenly dropped dead at a young age from something like a blood clot or those kinds of issues, you’re probably fine too. My doctor mentioned that it’s largely genetic. Obviously, anything can happen—life is unpredictable like that—but if you're staying on top of your regular checkups, the odds are basically zero...
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Everything you need to know is laid out right over at www.cybermed.com—there’s this specific thread on contraception (the "must-read" topic, seriously)... It was all broken down by a gynecologist, too, which makes such a difference—I really think a lot of girls will find their answers there and finally clear up all those confusing questions about birth control...
