How do I get rid of this orange outline? What am I even supposed to Google to find this thing? It just popped up out of nowhere recently—pretty sure I messed something up in the settings... Anyway, it’s driving me absolutely crazy and I just want everything back to how it was before (without that annoying box)
Here's a little extra context that might matter: I've moved all my main folders—like My Music, Pictures, etc.—over to my D: drive...
Seriously, please help me kill this thing... It's such an eyesore. I haven't been able to find anything on Google because, well, obviously I have no clue what this specific thing is called. 😢😢
I really need some advice on which all-in-one printer (scanner/copier combo) I should grab. Right now I've got an EPSON SX105, but I think I might've actually broken it. 🤷 Honestly, I know zero about printers, but since money was tight, I picked up some third-party inks that were supposed to be compatible. A few people tried them out and now the machine won't recognize any of them—not even the original color that's still in there. I have no clue what happened; I thought those inks were perfectly fine to use. 😁 It won't print a single thing, it just flashes at me and says the colors aren't recognized... 😢
So, I'm guessing it'll be cheaper to just buy a new one than try to fix this mess. I’d love a recommendation because I am seriously lost when looking at everything available. Plus, the folks at the local big-box store weren't exactly helpful when I mentioned I wanted something that could run on the cheapest possible ink—you know, third-party stuff or whatever...
To sum up: I need an all-in-one device, lowest price possible, cheap ink/toner is the priority. I don't care about speed and I don't even need Wi-Fi... I just need it to do its job. 😍 I don't print much, just the occasional photo or some text for school stuff... If anyone has a link to something like that, let me know... 😍
So, if you're taking those pills to push back your period, do you need to be extra careful during sex? And do they actually boost your fertility or anything? 🙏
hmm... okay, I think everything's working now. I just cut and pasted that folder onto my desktop and everything looks exactly how it should. There are still like two or three folders left over on the C drive, but those are probably just system files so I’m definitely not touching them. Huge THANKS for the help! 😍 I knew there had to be a way to fix this. It's always so easy for people to just say it can't be done. 🙂
edit: just so I don't end up double posting.
...Everything is great, and I think it actually works. Only thing is, this "Users" folder automatically popped up on my desktop, and it's kind of a pain because I have to click into my username again just to get where I want to go 😁 so I just made a shortcut to the actual folder I need. But if I delete this "Users" folder, will it wipe out my stuff on the D drive too? How do I just hide it from the desktop without deleting it? That "Users" thing isn't just a shortcut.
Oops, bad link. Total amateur move on my part, haha... Anyway, looking at the desktop folder for names, there's no "locations" tab...
So, when I tried moving everything over the first time, I clicked on a folder on my desktop and got an error saying the location was changed and I couldn't open it. Basically, I think I need to move the desktop folder too, but how am I supposed to do that if the option isn't even there? 🤷
Is it really not here? Seriously? If I don't copy this folder over, I won't be able to click on anything on my desktop... at least that's how it worked for me last time. 🤷 😢
Quick question for you guys. I’ve been scouring the forums, but I can’t seem to find anything helpful... 🤷 I’ve got two partitions on my hard drive, C and D. My plan was simple: keep all the programs on C and dump all my user files over on D. But when I installed everything, the system just shoved all my user files onto C automatically. Even when I tried moving documents manually, they just kept defaulting back to C. So, I tried to do a quick move to the D drive using copy-paste, thinking that would be easy. Big mistake. It didn't work at all because things like Start > My Music won't actually open my stuff—they just point to those weird system files left behind on the old C drive. Now I'm stuck. A buddy told me I totally messed up and that there’s no way to fix it or get it working the way I want. I hope you guys get what I'm trying to do here. For now, I've just copied everything back to C and I'm sitting here waiting for someone to save me... if anyone is willing. 🙂😍
I haven't really gotten into that kind of stuff yet, but I’m planning on it soon. Before that happens, though, I want to get some facts straight about birth control pills. I definitely want to be on them, but I’m feeling super awkward about bringing it up with my mom—she’s pretty... conservative? On top of that, I have diabetes, so I have zero clue if that’s going to mess with anything. I tried digging for answers online, but honestly, I came up empty. 😳 I know a trip to the gynecologist is on the cards (this would be my first time, by the way)... But is it actually smart to just jump straight onto the pill? And how do I even break the news at home? It’s not like I’m thirteen; I’m eighteen... but in my house, we just don't talk about this stuff. Given how things are with my family, I’d eventually have to mention it—I’m at the doctor quite a bit, and I’ll probably need to let them know I’m taking them. Sorry if I’m totally off-topic here. 🙈 Any advice is welcome. 🙂
Joshua Garcia3 Asks: Requirements: ================================================= You're gonna need at least a 1 GHz processor to get this thing moving. Doesn't matter if you're running 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64), just make sure it hits that speed.
It really comes down to what you're trying to do, but if I'm being honest? Go with the 2 GB RAM on a 64-bit system. I know, I know, people love to argue about bit architecture, but let's be real. Having that extra gig of breathing room makes a massive difference. Running a 32-bit setup with only 1 GB of RAM feels like trying to squeeze a gallon of milk into a shot glass. It’s cramped, it’s slow, and you'll be staring at a loading icon more often than not. If you can swing the 64-bit route with 2 GB, just do it. It's smoother, it handles modern tasks way better, and you won't feel like your computer is gasping for air every time you open a couple of tabs. Just my two cents.
You’re gonna need about 16 GB of free space if you're running a 32-bit system, or 20 GB if you've gone the 64-bit route. Just make sure you've got that breathing room on your drive.
You need a DirectX 9 graphics device running a WDDM 1.0 driver or better. That's the deal. __________________
Can I actually cut out parts of songs that have copyright on these programs? I was trying to upload some stuff to Zedge and trim them down, but they wouldn't let me because the song is protected. How do I get rid of that protection? 🤷
So I popped it in for the first time this summer... and went pretty deep 😁 then when I tried to pull it out, it just got stuck 😁 and honestly, I totally panicked. It was such a struggle to get it out... I was just like, yeah, no thanks on that one :/
