Zachary Davis47 said:Look, the whole point of bringing someone over is that they’re there to support you and be at your service however needed. They work around the clock, and in exchange, you're basically helping them live out their wildest dreams... they get to be the big shot in their hometown and finally snag that US passport. 🙂

🤣 That's just not how it works! If you bring a young partner in from abroad, you're the one providing for them, and they're the ones taking care of the home front.

Seriously though, do you have any idea how hard it is to resist that temptation? 🍿

Zachary Davis47 said:Honestly, you sound like that one bitter old lady from high school who's still single while everyone else moved on! You know the type—the one who can't even show up to a twenty-year reunion without a massive diamond ring on her finger or at least some paperwork proving she’s finally finished with her divorce! ☕

That sounds exactly like meeeeeeeeeee!! 🙂

Grace Sanders24 I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this! It’s just one of those things that makes everything click, you know? Honestly, I was sitting here thinking about it earlier today while grabbing my morning coffee, and it hit me—this is exactly what we need more of. It’s bright, it’s bold, and it just feels right. I am totally here for it!
Yeah, it’s really the only way to go. There isn't any other option left. I’m constantly reporting his posts and hitting that little flag icon, but honestly? It feels like today's moderation team just isn't interested in upholding basic standards of decency or helping us out. They're totally blowing it! 🍿

Just bumping this thread! Hey there, Grace Sanders24! 🍿

Alright folks, let’s hear it: we really need to get out of our cars more often and hop on a bus, a train, or just grab a bike when the weather is actually nice! If we don't start making the switch to public transit, we're all going to end up suffocating in this crazy smog 😳. Seriously though, let's do our part!

Alright folks, listen up! We really need to start ditching the cars more often and jumping on the bus or subway instead—or honestly, just grab a bike when the weather is actually nice! If we don't, we're all just going to end up suffocating in this nasty smog. 😳 Thanks so much!

I’m not really feeling the non-linear timeline, and honestly, the way they push the racial themes and feminism felt a bit forced to me. That being said, the actresses are absolutely STUNNING and did such an incredible job! I didn't exactly picture Emma Watson when I imagined Meg, but she actually nailed the role. My one big gripe with the cast is that they used the exact same actresses for both time periods. You'd expect to see some aging, right? Since the girls are supposed to be around 12 to 16 at the start, but the actresses look like they're already 20. Especially Amy—she's meant to be the youngest, but even when she's supposedly 12, she sounds like a chronic smoker! (Kidding, obviously, but seriously, there wasn't a hint of a child's voice there). Timothée fit the role perfectly, though he looks a little too old standing next to the girls, especially later on, since he's supposed to be a young adult. It also bugged me how they stuck to the book word-for-word in some parts but then totally veered off in others; whenever they improvised, it just threw me off. Specifically, the scene where Jo meets the old gentleman felt off, and they completely skipped the part where Meg defends her John. Plus, the romance felt forced during the quiet moments and was missing exactly when it was needed most. The movie was visually gorgeous, though! 😁
The secret to seduction is objectifying women. in Psychology & Therapy ·
Rebecca Carter8 said:The fundamental hurdle a man has to clear if he wants to spark a woman's interest lies in accepting a harsh reality: she isn't interested in him as a person, but rather as an object of desire—a "thing" she chooses to tolerate within her life structure.

Men are conditioned to believe we shouldn't objectify women, but instead view them as complex individuals with feelings and unique interests, under the assumption that treating them this way will naturally trigger their attraction. In practice, this is quite difficult because many women lack depth beyond their physical appearance, which is often the only thing drawing men toward them in the first place. Consequently, it creates a false impression that any woman who attracts male attention is inherently superficial, if one is forced to operate at that level of nonverbal communication.
The dynamic works identically in reverse. By default, women aren't looking at men as people; rather, a man must actively cultivate that interest by presenting himself as someone valuable enough to be worth having in her life. However, the moment a man reveals his emotional side—especially when he demonstrates actual emotional needs—it shatters the illusion the woman has built around him, leading to a total loss of interest.
Therefore, for a man to successfully win a woman over, he must function as a subject of desire rather than a human being.

So, what kind of women do *you* find interesting?

Character is the only thing that truly matters in a man.

It’s great for a guy to be sensitive and show he "needs" his partner, but there's a huge difference between being caring and being a total crybaby.

Bill Murray 😍 He is hands down the absolute best part of any Wes Anderson movie. I am obsessed with his dance moves! 🎉

Some of his movies are absolute gems—I mean, *Royal* or *Grand Budapest Hotel* are top-tier for me. But then there were some that totally missed the mark, like *Fantastic Mr. Fox* or *The Darjeeling Limited*. Others I found just... okay? Nothing to write home about, kind of mid, like *The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou* or *Moonrise Kingdom*. That said, I’m still super drawn to his whole vibe and those quirky characters he builds. It feels a little bit "pre-hipster," if you know what I mean! Does anyone have recommendations for something with a similar feel?

Can I just jump in here and post my own ad? 🙂 😁 But I’d love to skip the haiku part. Is that actually required, or can I leave it out? 😛
